Submitted/acknowledged receipt on 4/2, so only a little over a week but hoping to hear back this week given the 1-2 week turnaround they've been doing lately. When was yours submitted?
Not to be "that guy", but has anyone noticed that after the pass-athon on 4/4, only one additional contract has passed ROFR, and that was on 4/5. Zero passes since last Wednesday...
I don’t think it’s that weird. I’ve been watching this thread on and off for a couple years and it seems like big bursts of approvals followed by nothing is the rule, not the exception. Not to be "that guy", but has anyone noticed that after the pass-athon on 4/4, only one additional contract has passed ROFR, and that was on 4/5. Well, they loaded points onto to a few members' new accounts yesterday. The Mouse is agnostic. Is Easter not a thing in the US? I guess it depends on which state and where, but for us here it's at least a 3 day weekend, 4 for schools/some banks/some companies.

The point being that in order to load points, both MS and MA must have been staffed yesterday. So clearly, Easter isn't a "thing" for DVC. Of course the ROFR lady maybe had the day (or weekend) off, but they were still open. Plus, there have been no ROFR passes since Wednesday.I would have thought that was Member Services' job and not the Rofr person's job.
True, but that was under "normal" ROFR rules. Since the beast fell asleep, there has been a steady stream of ROFR passes, with ever decreasing wait times. I suppose the numerous passes on Tuesday may have been the Monster clearing her desk before some hard-earned vacay...I don’t think it’s that weird. Yeah, I have noticed. I am hoping it is just Easter/Spring break taking a toll. I asked my broker he told me he would start getting concerned after this week for mine sent on 3/25 with the recent quick turn around. Not to be "that guy", but has anyone noticed that after the pass-athon on 4/4, only one additional contract has passed ROFR, and that was on 4/5. Absolutely - and knowing this, I called MS on Saturday to try to get my points loaded (MA added contract late Friday).MA doesn’t work weekends. But MS has access to the information to load points and work through them as they have time for MA doesn’t have to be there once they have created the account.
It was/is my understanding that when a MS CM "puts you on hold" to see if they can get your points loaded, they are reaching out to MA. Regardless, the point is that there are DVC cast members working on Easter Sunday, doing more than just helping out with a reservation or listening to a complaint about banking/borrowing. And we know that contracts DO pass ROFR on Saturdays, so there were still a good 3 or 4 days without any ROFR's, when there had been a steady stream the past month or so (which was my original point).MA doesn’t work weekends. Thanks!I’m sorry. This happened to me with my first offer on a CC. Prices have fallen even more since then though so it was for the best in the end! Hope you find an even better deal!

We were there this weekend - Easter weekend at MK... and it was busy, but noticeably lighter than it has been... even with the Tron opening, MK and EPCOT were both a bit lighter crowdwise and wait time wise than they have been it seemed... was kind of weird actuallyIs that 25% down after spring break week? I've seen nothing but how massively crowded it's been the last few weeks
Miss it? You mean we're supposed to leave when we pass ROFR? I haven't had a contract in ROFR for over a year and I'm still stalking this thread! Can I just say I'm gonna miss this thread when my second contract passes ROFR. Of course, unless I end up buying another contract next year haha.
Seriously considering adding on direct when VDH opens, just 25 or 50 pts.
