Official Wine & Dine 2018

My ADR window opens tomorrow. I’m hoping to go to Mama Melroses Sat evening(never been so thought I’d cross it off the list). If anyone is interested in going, let me know. I’ll try to make it extra tomorrow just in case.

Really not sure if I’ll do much else for ADR’s but maybe a character breakfast. If you’re solo don’t be shy about it. I dine alone at Disney a lot and never had a worry. The rides solo get me way more than the eating. :)

I just feel weird about doing character dining solo. The regular restaurants don’t bother me at all.

Yeah I get that. I usually don’t get pictures but it’s fun to still interact with the characters a bit. Plus I usually do it for breakfast buffets so I can eat all the pancakes and bacon.
Nothing wrong with that!

It has become my favorite on property. I'm not sure I will keep it because I'm nervous about dining solo at a character meal (frankly I'm pretty nervous in general about this trip being solo...who will I talk to...what if I get lonely...:worried:) but the food was so good and the characters are so much fun.

I added Garden Grill breakfast to my list for tomorrow as a solo ADR. I was torn between it and Tusker House and I'm doing breakfast at Tusker House with my friend the day before the half but still wanted to do Garden Grill. We couldn't fit it in so I figured why not just do it later in the week. My only problem will be that I will want photo's and I don't do selfies. Is the seating there conducive to asking someone nearby to take a photo? I'll have to make friends :)

Really I just want Mickey waffles and Chip and Dale dressed up :) I'm an only child so I learned long ago that if there's something I really want to do and there's no one to do it with that I can do it alone and have fun doing it.

Yep! But I'm still gonna go on Slinky Dog Dash on my own!

Yes, the tables at Tusker House are close together so you can ask someone to take your photo.

I’m going specifically for the bread service!
You won't be disappointed. It is so delicious!! Just watch out for the really spicy dips. When they say it is spicy they are understating it.

I'm the total opposite. Rides don't bother me at all solo. :)

Most of our adrs our booked! Have to wait to do the last two days since we are doing a split stay but since our choices for those days aren’t too popular I’m not too worried.

Race day- Via Napoli lunch after run, California Grill dinner
Bon Voyage breakfast
Be Our guest Lunch
Garden Grill Grill Breakfast
LTT lunch
Ohana Dinner

We have two little kids who nap so I’m not booking too many dinners but would love to add more day of.

Also booked Early Morning Magic for that Tuesday which looks awesome and includes breakfast.

I love seeing everyone’s choices that don’t travel with little kids! I would have preferred CG brunch but there is no way DH is lugging the kids and double stroller to Epcot to see me run only to leave and go have brunch. I’m not too confident the whole family will make it to dinner but if needed DH will watch the Little’s while Dd13 have dinner.

For those of you have done the after party-

I have read reports of the lines for characters and food being long but how about the rides? Dd13 and I will head out that night and I’m wondering if we are better off going to the party or maybe booking the dessert party at MK or something.

Texted my sister last night asking if there were any hard to get table service places we wanted to make an ADR for or stick to quick serves suffice to say we're doing Bon Voyage Friday morning

Got all the ADR's that we/I wanted but will need to try and change the time on Via Napoli to earlier though I imagine it's a lot of runners and we won't be able to move it up. If I knew we'd for sure get seated close to the 625 time I wouldn't worry but I don't want to be stuck waiting forever.

Now that this is set I can get more excited about Paris and DLP in two weeks! Then I can start figuring out park days and fp's :)

What time is your reservation? I may join you if there’s still room.

Did our ADR's yesterday:

Thursday: The Wave
Friday: Still up in the air. Don't like either option I have booked. I'm just not excited about dining in MK. We'll see what we decide on.
Saturday: Trattoria al Forno (almost did Via Napoli for a change, but figured if it ain't broke, don't fix it...)
Sunday: Rose & Crown, maybe lunch, maybe dinner. I don't know.
Monday: Tusker House breakfast
Tuesday: 1900 Park Fare breakfast (might drop this)

For some reason I'm just not jazzed about our dining options. I don't know why though. (Probably my lack of Cali Grill brunch! ;) )
