Just an FYI you can also activate them at Disney Springs. We get into Orlando the day before we check into Disney and we go to Disney Springs so we are set for EMH the next morning. You can also get the Military discount on Memory Maker at guest relations too.

Does Epcot do a preshow the night before like Magic Kingdom does? You could see one a different night.

No, Epcot’s is only on the 4th. So it’s recommended to do MK on the 3rd if you want to see both!

O - H!!! I never take the "slow boat to anywhere" (prefer to walk it) so I am not all that bummed UNLESS of course it is pouring buckets and I'm trying to being out in a deluge. I do feel badly for those who really enjoy that transportation because the bus is definitely my least favorite as well!

The quiet pools are open 7 am to 11 pm. Storm Along Bay usually opens at 9am. I don't know the closing time.

I was there this past Fri-Tues. walked back from HS one night (stopping over at the boardwalk too) and passed the pool. It was a little after 10:30 and there were still lifeguards out.

We are 3 weeks out and I've just read about the boat service to HS being down.

What's the bus service like to HS when this happens? also we planned to go from HS to IG for lunch at Rose and crown, what's our best way to get to IG now? Walking probably not an option!

They run buses to the resorts when the boat is down. You could take the bus to the Beach Club and walk to the International Gateway. It is a shorter walk from there than it is from the front of Epcot. Or you could get off the bus at the Yacht Club, walk to the YC boat dock and take the Friendship boat to Epcot.

Beginning May 7th, the bridge at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels will be closed for refurbishment. During this closure, Friendship boat service to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be unavailable. The pedestrian walkway across the bridge will remain open.

The rooms at YC since they have been remodeled do they have enough plugs for charging? We will have 4 phones plus backup chargers. I usually bring a power strip but I though I read the rooms have plenty easy to get to outlets. Thanks

Thank you. I thought that was going to be easiest. I was hoping they would run a bus to the IG and use the special events drop off location. I'm just being lazy. lol.

I just returned from YC and yes, they have lots of USB ports as well as “regular” outlets. I didn’t count how many but they were located between the 2 queen beds on the nightstand and on top of the bureau. There may have been more (either end of the beds?) but I didn’t pay close enough attention.

We also travel with a power strip, but did not need it at YC in March. Lots of plugs. But we had 6 devices. I didn’t assess the max spots.

Hello Everyone, been an interesting few months for myself, but next trip for us is July 2nd thru the 5th BC CL for my niece 21st birthday. Then we have made have rebooked as well for Christmas already the 23rd thru 28th BC CL and we are currently looking sometime in Oct for food and wine
