All You Need is The Force, Trust and Pixie Dust! A May 2014 TR -- Updated 11/20

3 Amazing updates.
OMG pixie dust, riding the teacups with Alice and the white rabbit.
Loving your solo TR. You go girl!

Thanks! It was fun throwing myself into the Disney magic on the solo part of my trip!

MY GOD YOU HIT THE ******* CHARACTER FREAKING JACKPOT THAT DAY!!!

Seriously the photo of you & pooh eating breakfast is beyond adorable

You got to ride the teacups with alice & the white rabbit and that is amazing and wonderful and that is my favourite friend of alice's ever! She's perfection!!

Anna & Elsa sound like they were a great time, but I have t say, I'm not a fan of the look of Elsa.... #whoops I LOVE THAT AURORA FRIEND TOO SHE'S FREAKING PERFECTION, she hangs out with vidia occasionally and that is beyond amazing too.

AND MY FAVOURITE LITTLE STINKERBELL SERIOUS YOU GOT EVERYONE THAT IS AMAZING TODAY, CHARACTER JACK POT!! Love her so much!!

Honarary trolley dancer, best day ever

Meeting danielle & co is always a blast of a time!

Oh goodness, I honestly don't remember what else...hm...LOVE the shirt, and everything sounds like it was an AMAZING morning for you!!

Haha thanks for EVERYTHING. This was easily the second-best morning I've ever had at Disney. The first will always remain that perfect Cinderella's Castle proposal from my lovely husband!

Talk about pixie dust!!! That is so awesome that you were able to ride the Teacups with Alice and the White Rabbit! The Photopass photographer captured some really great photos, too! By the way, the guy in the peach teacup is totally jealous!

Between the great character meets and meeting Danielle, her parents, and Hayley, this day is off to a fantastic start!

Yes, that castle photo is real darn good!

I didn't notice the guy in the peach tea cup until you pointed him out, hehe that's funny!

Truly,Disney magic at it's very best!!

Right?!?! Anytime anyone says Disney has lost it's magic, I'm just referring them back to this chapter. ;)

Yayy! Another post! What a lovely breakfast at Crystal Palace. How in the heck did you understand all that from Pooh?! Lol.

LOVE all the bows. How cute!

OH.EM.GEE.! How awesome was that ride with Alice and the White Rabbit?!!! Wow! That's an amazing experience and even better that a photopass photographer caught it all. That is some serious pixie dust!

I have to add those Casey corn dog nuggets on my list of things to try!

You must try the corn dog nuggets, they're so tasty!

Amazing morning so far!!

First of all, the tea cups?! How amazing! What a fun memory!

I am loving the fact that Hayley recognized you by your bow! Too cute!

And...now I want some corndog nuggets! Is it terrible that we have never, not once, eaten at Casey's? We always seems to pass by in the morning or later afternoon. This needs to change.

It was a really amazing morning! Something I will remember for a long, long time.

Luckily for you, Casey's just went through a refurb and now there's twice as much seating, which makes it easier to eat lunch there!

What a great Magic Kingdom morning.

Riding the teacups with Alice?!?!? Say What?!?!? That's awesome!!

This is why I would want to do a solo trip. DBF is not big on M&G's so that would be awesome. Luckily I'm taking my young niece in January so I'll get to do a lot of M&G's with her. I might be more excited then she is. :)

I can't wait to try the corn dog nuggets in September!

Great update!

Franklin doesn't mind M&Gs, we do our fair share when we're together. But I didn't think we'd ever do this type of full-park character hunt. So it kind of organically became my plan for a couple of my solo days to include lots and lots of characters. It was so much fun!

I'm waiting for the good bus karma to turn to bad. It always seems to happen that way. :upsidedow

What an amazing day you had! Riding the teacups with Alice and the White Rabbit is the most fun ever. :goodvibes

I love the way you preplanned your bows so that you had a topic of conversation with some of the characters. You did a good job of hiding your bag in all of the pictures. I was wondering where you hid them. ;)

I think the only way I could meet all those characters would be to take a solo trip. My DH would never be able to tolerate all those M&G's. But they look like so much fun. ::yes::

Spoiler alert: The good bus karma never quits on this trip. It's shocking, but true!

I had a giant Ziploc bag of bows in my drawstring backpack and I did a lot of bow quick changes in line! :lmao:

I don't always get a chance to comment, but Oh My Gosh! That was amazing!!! So many characters, plus riding the teacups with Alice and the White Rabbit!!! jealous!!!

Thanks for commenting! Good to hear from you. :goodvibes

What an excellent morning! Riding the teacups with Alice and the Mad Hatter is definitely some serious pixie-dust!

Looking forward to more updates!

Thanks! It really was an incredible morning. And it was even more fun re-living it with all of you.

I had seen your updates on Facebook, so I knew some of these things would happen, but I didn't know the stories behind the magic! I love that you were able to ride the teacups with Alice and the White Rabbit! I think I had heard that they do that, but I wonder if any of the other characters ride "their" rides. The only one I could really imagine would be Buzz, defending the galaxy. That would be pretty awesome, actually.

I was so hot out there, I don't know how you managed to stand around waiting for the Mine Train. I was barely able to make my way to rides with shaded and indoor lines. And I live in Vegas, where HOT HOT HOT is the norm!

I met the same Anna and Elsa as you! I've been looking at the promo pics and I don't think they're the ones that were used, right? I have to say, it seems like the character interactions have really been taken to the next level. The conversations they have are really making things extra magical. I love that Elsa showed you how to make snow and that you talked about bad hair with Anna. They're so fun!

Those corndog nuggets look scrumptious! I'll have to work them in next time. I had them on my 2010 trip, but that was soooo long ago, I don't really remember them.

Merida looks amazing! She's one of the face characters who really looks her part, IMO. Your matching bow is the best! All of your matching bows are soo cute! I can't even remember to bring my ears, let alone coordinating bows...

And... I finally started my TR! The link is in my sig. Stop over if you'd like! It's really interesting reading your trip as it is parallel to mine.

I was worried that people wouldn't enjoy reading about this stuff since they'd already seen it on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook. But it seems like everyone is enjoying me filling in all the details.

Yay! You started your TR, I am soooo starting it at lunch tomorrow!

Oops! How did I miss this one? Here now! ;)

Yay! Glad you're here!

Love your character meets! Especially love the teacup ride! Also, love your necklace!!!

Thanks! That necklace came from one of my Disney buying/selling groups on Facebook, it's a fun way to expand my Disney collection between trips!

ok, I really have no excuse for not joining in on the fun sooner, but I am here now!

Wow, the view from your room really is perfect - especially for a "technically pool/garden view" :thumbsup2

I think you are doing great with your photos! Well, I will admit that there is a gap b/w Franklin and yours on the dark rides - he's great with the lighting and filters and stuff!

We have an opposite first day tradition to you in that we generally don't do a park first day. We usually have limited day passes (using military rates) so don't want to use one up on a partial day. So our tradition is to see Wishes first night from somewhere outside of the park - generally has been on the Poly Beach

Man the new parade looks great - I really hope we get to see it our next trip but I am really worried about mid-affternoon August heat! Your pictures were great - especially love the one with the Dragon head in front of the Castle :thumbsup2

Very cool you got to see SM with the lights on - I think it looks way scarier with the lights on with how close all the track and supports look! :scared1:

And nice Firework Photo!

Oh I love POG juice! Sounds like a fun breakfast - I agree about the family style being more relaxed vs. buffet ... you almost have to have a strategy with the buffet and timing with characters, etc.

Sounds like a nice time at the spa - and those loungers look very cool! And I'd say a massage and then champagne, listening to the band, etc. make for quite the afternoon!

hmmm, if Food & Wine Festival counts as an "extra" than that is my favorite!

man, I am loving your dining choices - Cali Grill is so great, and they are a great place to get sushi!

And then pre-park opening ADR at CP! Love the puffed french toast there. I didn't know that they made pancakes there too! This TR isn't just entertaining - it is informative too

I've been loving all your bows too - and great how you match them to who you are meeting!

That's so cool you got to ride the tea cups with Alice and White Rabbit!

Yeah for DISmeet! Only thing better would have including PapaDon in on that Tea Cup ride!

Great job so far!

Wow, you did a great job of catching up! And you have a great excuse for being busy, you have a trip in a month and a PTR that you've been hard at work on!

Okay, now all I want in life is a teacup ride with Papadon!

Sounds like a fantastic morning so far!! All the CP characters look like so much fun, can't wait to meet them! I'm impressed you managed to meet so many characters in such a short time! I remember you posting on FB when you scored your A&E FP--did meeting them live up to the hype?

Getting to ride the teacups with characters is seriously cool! The photographer got some really great pics of all of you! Looking forward to hearing about the rest of the day :)

Anna and Elsa TOTALLY lived up to the hype, they were a treat to meet. I'm a little sad that the "meeting them together" meets are now a thing of the past. It was fun how they could play off each other.

Hi Missy--

Sounds like a great trip so far. I've always wanted to take a solo trip but haven't yet. Sounds like you're having a wonderful time.

:cloud9:

The solo trip ended up being better than I could have ever imagined! Thanks for joining in!

WHAT?!?! You were like in a freakin' Disney commercial that day! Riding with Alice and the Rabbit?! And so many character meet and greets! And your bows are precious. I think my favorite so far is the Merida one with the little curly red hair ribbons!

The Merida bow was a new purchase before this trip and it turned out so cute! I love it!

Crystal Palace breakfast is my new favorite Disney meal. I loooooved that puffed French toast and I had some very good apple tarts there too!

So cute that Pooh sat down with you. Tigger sat down with us at a breakfast at Disneyland and made my dad rub his shoulders :rotfl: That's awesome you were able to have a conversation!

I did a solo morning at MK this trip where basically all I did was meet characters. It was so much fun and your TR so far is making a solo trip sound really fun!

That's so wonderful you got to ride the teacups with Alice and White Rabbit!!! I got to ride Peter Pan's Flight with Belle when I was little and it's one of my best childhood memories ever. Alice looks great in the photos, so in character!

I LOVE the idea of pictures in front of the trolley show!

Danielle and her family are so wonderful!! I would be pretty starstruck meeting Yeti as well.

I'm glad you got to meet Anna and Elsa together. I met them together in November and I liked it so much better than meeting them separately. I mean, having them separate definitely keeps the line down, but it was so much fun to see them interact.

I totally missed the apple tart at Crystal Palace, sounds like I'll have to go back!

Danielle and her family are so much fun, we were so lucky to get to hang out with them on this trip.

And I'm totally with you about A&E. I know they did for budget and efficiency reasons, but that doesn't mean it doesn't stink!

You're breakfast at Crystal Palace looked super yummy.

That is so cool that Alice and the White Rabbit rode the Teacups with you. Aladdin and Jasmine rode on the Magic Carpets one carpet ahead of us during my April 2012 trip. My DD and I were so thrilled they were on the same ride as us!

Loved the Princess interactions. We had the same Aurora this past January :)

Breakfast at CP was super yummy, it's one of my favorite restaurants at Disney.

This Aurora was fantastic, I'm so glad you got to meet her too!

Wow, what an amazing morning! You make character meet and greets look so fun! Plus, it's so cool you got to bump into Danielle. We JUST missed each other this past January (she was leaving on the day I arrived). I know we DISers have a lifetime of trips ahead of us where we all can try for more DIS meets!

That stinks that you guys missed each other. But you're right, we've all got so many trips planned that everyone will get to see each other at some point! :goodvibes

We had a great time with Missy and Franklin.

Thank you so much Courtney for the great compliment about our family. We love your family too.

Thanks Jackie! We had so much fun with you guys too!

What a great start to your trip! Your photography skills do a great thing! They document all the fun you are having! That is the point of most photography, right?

Exactly! The photos tell the story. :goodvibes

I can't recall if I ever complimented you on your previous TR's but I meant to. Now I am back for the most recent one! Looks like an awesome trip so far! Doing a solo trip is on my bucket list!

Awww thanks! I'm glad you like reading the TRs because I love writing them!

Wow loving all the meet and greet pics in this last update! You were so lucky to get to ride with Alice and the White Rabbit too!!!

We are doing Crystal Palace for the first time in Sept, I'm super excited! I also want to try and meet as many characters as we can. DS is only 2.5 so I'm sure he will have fun with it too :)

You will LOVE Crystal Palace. Everything is fantastic: The food, the characters, the atmosphere are all great!

It's so much fun watching the characters interact with little ones. We had so much fun taking our nephew to meet the characters when he was just 1. Now we can't wait to see how he interacts with them in December now that he's 3 and talking!

I love all the character interactions! Did that friend of Aurora have the voice down packed? She looks like the one I saw in a video who really did something special with her voice.

Yes! She totally had the voice!

Our Wendy in October looked a lot like your Alice ;) and she was simply amazing & adorable! How fun that you got to ride the teacups with them! Character hunting is one of our favorite things to do nowadays, so I totally loved all the characters in these updates.

Do you have several pairs of ears with different bows attached or are they detachable? They are all so cute, and Hayley is amazingly talented! So funny that she recognized you by your bow!!

I'm going to have to go back and look at your Wendy photos! I have a pair of modified Minnie ears that have a loop of ribbon where I can put the different bows on!

Holy smokes, that was some great bus karma again! I love it when the buses cooperate.

They will make you pancakes?! I didn't know that either. Score!

I absolutely love the fact that you changed your bows throughout the day.

Merida is on my meet and greet list this upcoming trip. She's one I haven't met yet. Oh, and Rapunzel!

I remember you telling me all about riding the teacups with Alice and the White Rabbit. Just awesome.

Hahaha, Yeti is like a celebrity, right? He didn't do too much on this trip though. :rotfl2:

And again the waiting for the mine train begins. :lmao:

That's awesome that Hayley recognized you! So cool that you were able to meet her.

The Yeti learned the hard way to not go in public too much when you're THAT famous!

It was really funny that Hayley could recognize me by my custom bow!

Oh my goodness - how did I just get her now???!! Well I'm all caught up and what a great trip so far! I have to admit, I actually got a little teary when I saw the bit about the Teacup ride with Alice & the White Rabbit - what a truly magical memory!

Thanks so much for sharing the magic Missy! 32 more days till we're back in our happy place and your report is really helping the time pass quickly :flower3:

Thanks for finding us! You'll be at Disney the same time we are, maybe we'll run into each other!

What a fantastic morning! I still have not eaten at Crystal Palace yet! (I know, i'm a Tiggerfan! How could I have not been there yet?!) Believe me it on my growing list of To Do's. It's such a beautiful restaurant and I love the Mickey pancake!
I remember seeing your pic of Alice & the White Rabbit online. So cool! Love hearing about all the little surprises and pixie dust that people experience on their trips! Gotta love Disney!!

How have you not eaten at Crystal Palace??!?! You must remedy that soon!

I'm joining in too; I'm late but I saw your update on your FB page and realized I wasn't subscribed yet! So far it looks like the solo part of the trip was amazing!

Yay! Glad you're here! The solo trip was absolutely amazing, thanks for the tips!

Your ride with the White Rabbit and Alice sounds super magical! I probably would have cried, I'm a huge Alice in Wonderland fan. Hope the pixie dust continues!

Thank you!

What great MK day. Characters, dismeets, and corn dogs. Pretty darn perfect.

Can't believe you hit to ride the teacups with Alice and the white rabbit. Pixie dust for sure. And on the same day as Anna n Elsa! What a coup.

Btw love your bows. Gonna have to raid the site before our next trip.

Franklin makes fun of me because my box of bows keeps getting bigger with no end in sight!

Your Pixie Dust was over flowing. Love the photos in the cup with Alice and the MH. You had your own Missy-Palooza with all of your awesome character meets :worship:

Missy-palooza, I like it! It's the perfect name for this day!

Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!! That teacup ride with Alice and the White Rabbit?! I have no words! That is absolutely amazing!! And what a FANTASTIC Alice!

I simply love all of your M&Gs! So wonderful. You must have been on cloud nine all day!! I follow a friend of Cinderella's on Instagram and it just makes me smile seeing these pictures.

And I love that you met the girl who makes the bows! That is ridiculous! (In a good way, of course.)

I was floating around on a cloud all day, that's for sure!

Welcome back friends! We last left off with a blissful lunch of corndog nuggets and air conditioning after a jam-packed morning of character meets! I wasn’t in a hurry to leave, but leave I eventually did. I had a date under the sea with Ariel in her grotto. She said it was lovely how I picked a shirt to match her fin. Well, I guess I did!

I noticed a Photopass photographer hanging around Gaston’s usual meeting place. The photog said Gaston would be out in about 15 minutes, so I chose to wait for the self-absorbed wonder.

In the course of a four-minute conversation, he asked me to marry him twice.

i-SH4BJkH-L.jpg

i-qMK3gns-L.jpg

Since I was in the neighborhood, I popped in to see Ariel and the gang.

It was hot when I escaped from my under-the-sea journey. I had some time to kill until it was time for me to meet Mickey and I wanted a snack. Main Street Bakery used to be my go-to afternoon snack place. Yummy treats, places to sit, it used to be perfect! I understand that having Starbucks is a big plus for the park, but it cost me an afternoon hang-out spot. Ice cream sounded good, but there’s nowhere to sit indoors at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. The Plaza ice cream huh? Hmmmm, let’s see if they could squeeze in a party of 1 at The Plaza?

They could!

So I had a delicious hot fudge sundae (that I could never come close to finishing on my own) as my afternoon snack.

DSC02096-L.jpg

Refreshed and raring to go, it was time to meet The Mouse.

i-ZvCFgtT-L.jpg

Can I just say I was blown away by the improvements with talking Mickey from October through May. He had so much more to say. He took a closer look at my ears and asked about the special bow I had on them!

He told me he needed to take new photos for his magic show’s poster and asked if I would help him with it.

i-TKK8XfN-L.jpg

But of course!

i-gqLShBC-L.jpg

i-bgHqgbm-L.jpg

It was a fantastic meet and greet. A great way to cap an amazing day of characters at Magic Kingdom. I went back to the resort for a bit to shower and rest up for dinner.

i-fLBQdHp-L.jpg

1900 Park Fare! I was dressed in my Cinderella finest: A Cinderella shirt, a Lady Tremaine bow and my Cinderella-themed Toms.

missyfranklin_wedding_025-L.jpg

I checked in and was given a pager, so I went to the lobby to listen to the beautiful Disney music.

DSC02099-L.jpg

He played “Do You want to Build a Snowman?” from Frozen and it felt just perfect. Just before my buzzer went off, a little girl came up to the piano and asked if he could play “Let It Go.” He of course obliged and she stood by the piano and sang along with him. One by one little girls from all around the lobby joined her and they had the most adorable little Frozen chorus.

But about midway through the last verse, my buzzer was going off. Time for dinner with the Tremaines!

I had a lovely waiter who said he’d be by to give me a five minute warning when the characters were approaching. So I took the opportunity to visit the buffet. Now, I know you’re going to question my sanity when I say I started with a bowl of chicken noodle soup when it was nearly 100 degrees outside. But it was FREEZING in the resort, and the soup looked so tasty!

DSC02101-L.jpg

Also, how did no one tell me there were corndog nuggets and ‘Ohana-like potstickers on this buffet?!?! I sooooo would have tried it sooner! Haha.

DSC02100-L.jpg

I also tried the chicken marsala, ham and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! As I ate, it was time for Cinderella and her prince to perform the waltz!

DSC02102-L.jpg

DSC02103-L.jpg

After the dancing was over, Lady Tremaine rushed through the dining room, muttering about Cinderella always needing to be the center of attention.

DSC02104-L.jpg

Prince Charming was my first guest to arrive.

DSC02105-L.jpg

It was funny to watch throughout the dining room as the parents would turn down the chance to be in the photos with characters except, for some reason, every mom at every table wanted a photo with the prince!

Charming’s lovely bride was up next. She said she wished her headband were as glittery as the one on my shirt.

DSC02106-L.jpg

Now it was time for the real fun, Lady Tremaine took one look at my bow and declared me the “second best accessorized woman in the room.” Behind herself, of course.

DSC02109-L.jpg

She glanced down and saw my shoes, she screamed that she loved them! But she said they needed a bit of fixing. She proceeded to grab all the sugar packets off the table and bent down to cover Cinderella’s face on my shoe.

DSC02110-L.jpg

Seriously, this might be the best character meal I’ve ever been to.

Anastasia visited next and she was even more of a hoot. She said I should have really worn a shirt with her picture on it because she was the most beautiful person in the family. She said she’d go shopping with me for a new shirt, but she had to keep her focus on winning the prince over.

DSC02113-L.jpg

Drizella was the final family member to arrive. I said it was so nice that she was spending so much time with us visitors to let her sister chase after the prince. She screamed and screamed for her mother. She demanded to know why Anastasia thought she could have the prince when he clearly was in love with Drizella. She also yelled to her mother that she wanted to keep me because I was so smart and fun. Lady Tremaine looked me up and down and said “I’ll allow it.”

DSC02115-L.jpg

I get to be a Tremaine! I just had to tweet the fun I was having to the world.

IMG_20140521_191710-L.jpg

To say I had fun at 1900 Park Fare would be a massive understatement!

All the fun character interaction left me a little hungry again, so I hit up the buffet for seconds. I added a little of the world-famous Disney mac and cheese this time.

DSC02116-L.jpg

My waiter came by and said that I’d better leave room for dessert. I asked what he recommended. He said he loves to take a bite of everything because it’s just all so good. And he said the vanilla sauce for the bread pudding is perfect on pretty much everything.

DSC02117-L.jpg

I also had a cup of tea because (did I mention?) it was freezing?!!? This was such a fantastic meal. The food was really good (even for a buffet) and the characters were out of this world. This restaurant is definitely being added to the regular rotation. I paid the bill and wandered around Grand Floridian for a bit. I found something odd in one of the stores.

DSC02118-L.jpg

Um, there are no Fastpasses to keep in a holder anymore. Ah, memories! I made my way back to Boardwalk and grabbed my Kindle. I headed for the porch and my favorite rocking chair. It was a lovely night for reading and watching the Boardwalk hustle and bustle below. I thought about wandering over to the bridge between Boardwalk and Beach Club for Illuminations, but I was so comfy on the porch, I just didn’t want to leave. And this is where I spent the remainder of my evening, just enjoying the sights and sounds of the Boardwalk. That is where we’ll leave off for now, but there is lots of Epcot fun ahead!

Man you seriously are having your own version of characterpalooza. What a fabulous day.

The interactions at 1900 look awesome. How much fun. I'm not a buffet fan but even the food looked ok. Gonna have to try that some day.

Love all the character greets! I haven’t been to see talking Mickey since Oct! Definitely need to go again to see the improvements! Love him so much!

THOSE TOMS ARE FREAKING AMAZINGLY DONE!! Did you do them yourself?!?

….you should’ve heard the noise I made when I saw the picture of Lady Tremaine…

SHE IS PERFECTION!! She’s the friend that Steven & I will go see multiple times a day, she’s the one that we walk off & on set and she will easily spend half her break with us and not care…I am SO JEALOUS you got to see her that week, we HUNTED for her (1900 and like, 3 days at mk) and only saw her in the villains pre parade…

Also love that prince charming, he spent a good chunk of time with us last time we were there too! UGH! LADY T AND HER ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!!! God I miss her….love that you had such a blast at 1900, and isn’t the food truly amazing?! Especially for a buffet! I absolutely love it there and am super glad you added it into the rotation!

As many others have said, you have had some great character meets! :)

I had to do a double take to figure out what was different about Mickey! ha ha Is it only the talking Mickey's that have the closed mouth now? Or have some been like that all along, and I just didn't notice before?

Looking forward to the next chapter! DH and I are going mid November, and we have not been since November 2011. Reading all your trip reports has really helped me plan our trip this time. :) Now I'm thinking maybe I should have book 1900 Park Fare! ha ha

Another great update.

I can't wait to meet talking Mickey. That is the only disappointing thing about my first trip in January is that I didn't meet Mickey at WDW. That will not happen again.

Your Toms!!! Omg those are amazing. I seriously only wear Toms (other than my work shoes) I don't understand how these shoes are so comfortable it really doesn't make any sense. But whoever decorated yours did an amazing job!

Wow the more reports and reviews I read about 1900 the more interested I become. The character interaction just looks like so much fun.

OMG the sugar packets! :rotfl2: I love your interactions with the Tremaines and with the mixed reviews 1900 Park Fare has been getting lately your dinner looked perfectly delicious.

Wow, Gaston must have been really into you to only stop to ask you to marry him twice!

And good move checking to see if they had room at the Plaza for you - I agree that losing the seating in the Main St. Bakery was a definite bummer - think they could have figured out how to keep some ... most Starbucks have some seating

That meal at 1900 Park Fare sounds so fun! I am dying over the sugar packets :rotfl: Also that she stormed through the restaurant muttering about Cinderella and the characters interacted with each other, etc. ... it's almost like a mini-dinner show rather than just a character meal

We met the same Gaston. He was just fantastic. We had an awesome interaction with him. We love 1900 Park Fare too and the interaction with the Prince and Cinderella and the Tremains. Your outfits are just fantastic. Love, love, love them :thumbsup2

The Tremaine's look like such a hoot! I would love to go there but not sure I could talk my boys into a princess meal!
I NEED the retractable badge holder! I work in a hosptial and have to wear a badge and a key all the time and it's so much fun to have Mickey on it! I searched when I was there in April and couldn't find one! My current one is a Mickey head and it's on it's last leg!

I'm so glad you posted the 1900 Park Fare pictures - I just got a reservation today for our trip!! I'm even more excited than I was now!

I want to meet Gaston this trip too. I could have in the past on my solo trips; I don't know why I haven't.

You got to meet Gaston!! He's on my must-meet list :) What did he say when you told him you were already married? lol

I can't imagine how must fun it is to actually get to TALK to Mickey!!

Are those the TOMS you had made for your wedding? They're perfect for that meal! If Lady Tremaine thinks you're well-accessorized, that's high praise indeed I guess! The sugar packets part was hysterical. And the food actually looks really good! See this is the problem with reading TRs...I get my ADRs all perfect and then I find somewhere else I just HAVE to eat LOL. Looking forward to the Epcot fun!

Okay first and foremost...I promise you, the next time our trips overlap, you are welcome to take a spin on the teacups with Popadon. I warn you though....this is what you're going to get.

That Gaston is beyond perfect. He was the one I met too, and I just loved him and his sassiness.

I need to make sure to get to see Mickey in November, because we didn't make it in May. My friend Julia is all about meeting the characters, so I'm going to make it character heavy.

Those Toms are just perfect.

Hahahaha, Lady Tremaine was awesome! I totally want to be her. That's my future job. Lady Tremaine.

There is Epcot fun ahead! :goodvibes

1900 Park Fare! I was dressed in my Cinderella finest: A Cinderella shirt, a Lady Tremaine bow and my Cinderella-themed Toms. I checked in and was given a pager, so I went to the lobby to listen to the beautiful Disney music. Also, how did no one tell me there were corndog nuggets and ‘Ohana-like potstickers on this buffet?!?! I sooooo would have tried it sooner! Haha. I also tried the chicken marsala, ham and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! As I ate, it was time for Cinderella and her prince to perform the waltz! After the dancing was over, Lady Tremaine rushed through the dining room, muttering about Cinderella always needing to be the center of attention. Prince Charming was my first guest to arrive. It was funny to watch throughout the dining room as the parents would turn down the chance to be in the photos with characters except, for some reason, every mom at every table wanted a photo with the prince! Charming’s lovely bride was up next. She said she wished her headband were as glittery as the one on my shirt. Now it was time for the real fun, Lady Tremaine took one look at my bow and declared me the “second best accessorized woman in the room.” Behind herself, of course. She glanced down and saw my shoes, she screamed that she loved them! But she said they needed a bit of fixing. She proceeded to grab all the sugar packets off the table and bent down to cover Cinderella’s face on my shoe. Lady Tremaine looked me up and down and said “I’ll allow it.” I get to be a Tremaine! I just had to tweet the fun I was having to the world. To say I had fun at 1900 Park Fare would be a massive understatement! All the fun character interaction left me a little hungry again, so I hit up the buffet for seconds. I added a little of the world-famous Disney mac and cheese this time. My waiter came by and said that I’d better leave room for dessert. I asked what he recommended. He said he loves to take a bite of everything because it’s just all so good. And he said the vanilla sauce for the bread pudding is perfect on pretty much everything. That is where we’ll leave off for now, but there is lots of Epcot fun ahead!
. I love how you go all out with your outfits! Those TOMS are awesome!

We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare when we were there with our grandchildren. Cinderella was so sweet to our little DGD, who was three at the time. But we didn't get much of an interaction with the Tremayne's. I think that they held off being funny because our granddaughter was giving all three of them big hugs. :rotfl:

We had good food, too. I especially remember how delicious the chicken Marsala was. I think I went back for seconds. They really need to have that dinner in a prettier dining room. That cafe is all wrong for Cinderella and the Prince.

Loving your trip so far! You had so many character interactions (like how many people can say that they have ridden the teacups with Alice and the Rabbit???). We were there the same time that you were there! :)

Can't wait for more! (and I'm still curious about how you and Winnie the Pooh had a conversation)

Seriously where can I order a day just like that for myself?

CP is my new favorite breakfast spot after our first trip in May. We aren't doing it next month but your post REALLY has me reconsidering that! Piglet was the best.

So the Alice and White Rabbit tea cup ride is really beyond perfect. What a magical experience!

Your bow changes throughout the day are awesome! I need to work on increasing my bow collection.

Those TOMS are so great. Were you scared to wear them though? I wouldn't want anything to happen to them!

We LOVED 1900 Park Fare in May too! What a fun time with really good food.

Yay for such a magical day!
