How much is pp+ and what does it include? As much as Id like to believe we would take our own pictures I know it won't happen with our 4 and 2 year old to in tow!

I have prepurchased the PP+ for the first time. It was $149.00. It includes copies of the ride photos onto your pp card, actual pictures and copies onto the pp card from most character meals. It also includes a cd of all your pictures, and you get a cd with stock photos.

I always take the pictures so I am never in them. That is why we chose to do the pp+ for this trip. I hope it works out well.

I didn't know you could just prepay for a CD without getting PP+... how much is that and where do I go to do that?

They were Teva Tirra's... lots of recommendations on the boards for them. I'm going through the threads again making a list of brands that have been recommended, Keen is one of the brands I've seen a lot. I worry about an enclosed show because my feet swell badly.

One thing with the Keens.. they are stiff until you break them in. My son has worn them for years and always gets blisters until the are properly broken in. So plan to wear them for awhile before the trip:)

Mine do too. The Nikes were like mesh all around the sides and front/top of the shoe and I got a whole size bigger than I normally wear. The Keens are a half size bigger I think.

Thanks for the info on the photo CD... a little too rich for my blood.

Shoes...I decided to order a pair of Skechers Go Walk Ultimates... I'll report back after I get them and try them out. I like the sound of the all mesh Nike's, I might have to look for them next. I also had a friend recommend socks with arch support so I'm going to try to find them too.

My thing with photo pass is my kids probably won't go on the rides with photos. And I don't know if they will pose with characters.....or for cameras in general lol. I hate to prepay and end up with only a few crummy pics.

Yeah, I hate ride pictures and my kids are 15 so we're not doing too many character greetings. We'll do Chef Mickey's but we always pay for that photo package right there. I like to get a few family shots throughout the trip but I'll just buy them ala carte, I won't get near $119.

So the $119 includes rides, character meals and regular photo pass pics? How many cards do you get (like if your group splits up)?

So, I have yet to call and see if I have a pin attached to my account. I am thinking I need to do that SOON and before I pay it off, right?

Nope...that's the Photopass Plus (which is a higher cost.....$149.99 pre-ordered, I think). The regular Photopass does not include the ride photos or the character meal pictures.

If you pre-order the regular Photopass (not the Plus) and aren't satisfied with the purchase after your trip (ie you didn't get enough pictures to warrant the cost, or the photos aren't acceptable quality) they will refund your purchase price upon request. :thumbsup2

next week and keep walking throughout the summer so I will 1. be in better physical condition to walk all day long 2. be used to walking in all types of weather, including 90+ degree days with 70% humidity!
that was my plan too and I haven't done it yet. I need to get with the program, thanks for the reminder.

Yeah I am catching up on this thread, only have about 100 and something pages to go. **sigh**

You might be surprised. The least expensive photo pass individual print is $14.95. If you buy 7 prints, you have reached the cost of the CD preorder price. Just something to think about.

Time for a QOTD to liven up a dull and boring Monday........

Your Fairy Godmother gives you $500, with the stipulation that you must use it towards something special or "extra" for your trip. What would you use it for?

Upgrade your resort? Add on a special activity? Take the family out to a fancy restaurant? Rent a limo to get to and from the airport? Buy extra souvenirs?

Or ...... ?
I think I would upgrade my resort or add on a couple days of the AoA suites, really wanted to do this but the discounts were not good enough and well, Pop was soooo much cheaper. Couldn't justify it since we won't be in the room that much.

DH won't ever return to Florida, but I would definitely go to Artist's Point. I read a menu from there months and months ago and I am still drooling.
Just curious why your DH doesn't want to go back? Mine doesn't want to go either(and isn't) which is fine with us. :rotfl:

Hmm, an extra $500 for the trip... I think we would have to splurge and visit Victoria and Albert's! I want to do it but it's just so expensive. I would love to do it all out and do the wine pairings too. I'm thinking maybe for our 5th anniversary (so not for another 3 years, lol).

:wizard:pixiedust: Officially Wishing My Summer AWAY :wizard:pixiedust:
I am, too. My daughter is going for 'summer school' (it's really a special ed. summer prog so they kind of keep a schedule to go back in Sept.) from July 8 until August 15. By the time she is done IT WiLL be vacation time:cool1::goodvibes:rotfl2:

Same here. I can't seem to get my kids moving in the am. My kids are 14 &10.

She'll be 10 in two weeks. As her age goes up, her chances of waking in the morning in a good mood seem to get less and less. And my dh? The man keeps telling me he is on vacation and wants to sleep in. Can you believe it? I told him he can sleep at home :):crazy2: He's so silly SMH

I think a lot of the shoe recommendations really depend on the shape of your feet. I tried a few different crocs when everyone was talking about them and none of the styles worked for me. What did finally work best was a Teva Mush flip flop with a small wedge. For some reason it helped a lot that it wasn't flat. I bout the Tirras last year. I had no problem with them. I couldn't even try to wear the Keens because when I tried them in the store they just didn't feel right, so I didn't buy them.

Regular photo pass is just the pictures from the roaming photogs. I've heard that you can add a photo-ride package to it for a price, but I think that would still be more than the $149 pre order PP plus option

If I had an extra $500 for a trip, I'd probably splurge on an Illuminations cruise. I've always wanted to do one, but at the price they charge it's not going to happen unless we find some families that want to share!
