My hubby plays WoW and Guild Wars and a handful of other games on the computer. It's good because it frees me up to DIS!

DH was playing Star Wars for a bit. DS10 has been playing POTC online with a friend of his. Now DH has joined them. It was funny watching and listening to both DH and DS playing last night. DH on his Mac and DS here on the PC (both in the living room). They were having so much fun that they didn't get much packing done. They have to finish tonight.

Has he switched over to Guild Wars 2, yet?

I picked it up at release. It's pretty good..and nice to not have a monthly fee.

My AMAZING wife just came home with a nice little present for me:

That Yoda "An elf I am not" shirt that was mentioned yesterday!

WOOT! Right into the suitcase!

I definitely need to get DH one!

Note to self - if I see Simon LeBon in the park, he is not actually a DISer.

:lmao: I like Rho's idea of tackling him.

Hahaha isn't that the truth!!! Seriously I look at it like this, just about everyone in my life was a stranger at some point!!

No doubt. My dh is active on several sports message boards so he can't judge me.

I love seeing all the pictures. I would post one but I am not sure how. Must go research this.

Anyone else having issues with Photobucket??? I can not get it to upload on my computer. My phone app is working perfectly. Ugh I was trying to do an update on my PTR guess that may not be happening.

Huh. I was having issues with that too last night and chalked it up to our ancient server at home. Maybe it's an issue with Photobucket after all!

My DH played WoW and City of Heroes around the time we met, gave them up when DS was born since between work and the baby there wasn't time ... then in the last year after DS started regular school he's taken up League of Legends. I like to play games (and DIS!), too, but reminding him that he can't just ignore DS now that he's not a baby and should wait to play the games until after DS goes to bed is not my idea of fun. :duck:

I just realized my Undercover Tourist tickets for Gatorland still haven't arrived, today is the last day of the date range when they were supposed to come (ordered it 2 weeks ago). I was pleasantly surprised when the WDW tickets arrived in about a week in June, usually mail from Florida takes longer. Now I'm nervous that the Gatorland ones won't show up before our flight tomorrow afternoon! :worried: A minor worry, but I'll feel better when I have those suckers in my hands, especially since we've decided Gatorland day is Dec 5, not Dec 10, so its not like I could have someone mail it to me to catch up ...

You summed it up perfectly. I go from being really excited to being bummed out that it's going to fly by. And then what!!?

Bummer about Josh and MVMCP! I've read last years about 10x over :goodvibes Guess I just need to make it 11.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I'm most certainly not Olmos. But if you see him there--get his autograph for me! :thumbsup2

I will miss the daily trip planning and chatting too. See this is all very sad! I realized this weekend how much time I spent a day just looking at Disney related stuff. I decided I needed to prepare to have another hobby once this trip is over. I started playing WoW again to prepare myself. :surfweb:

*lol* Usually I read scrapbooking related stuff. But I haven't scrapped in 6 months because of DIS. And I have Mass Effect to finish. Plus Baldur's Gate came out for the iPad today.

My wife's a big scrapper.

I'm a HUGE gamer.

ME3? Or the first one?

Well glad its not just me I guess I will just post an update with the pictures from my phone since they will upload.

Umm......most of us are planning to deal with our PDD by moving this thread over to the community forum after December so we can keep micromanaging each others' lives. So, you see, there's absolutely no need to resort to developing another hobby :rotfl:

This is what will keep me sane once I get back.

Can we all commit to this? Pretty please!!

So used the Neti pot. Oh my sinuses are happy! One is definitely infected : / yuck. Well off to pack!! This time tomorrow I should be flipping out!!

I commit to it!

Neti pots work great! I need to get another one, my old one broke.

..

I stopped gaming when DS was born. Then started again when he was old enough to play - about 6. He played Oblivion, Civ, Skyrim. Now he mostly plays Wizard 101 which is an online game for kids.

It would freak out my family too. :confused3. DH is used to it now, but he is pretty shy around strangers. My dad actually met someone online, had an affair and left. So my family were all pretty skittish around the internet. It took a long time to convince my mom that the internet didnt have to be used for evil. I am not sure my grandparents are convinced. But they do appreciate hearing updates about our extended family that we get via fb.

I know! I feel like my whole life has revolved around this trip and this group for so long, especially with no job. I am going to have to find something new to live for in January. :rotfl2:

Wow, Dad! No wonder your family are a bit weird about it.

Any news on which week you go yet?

I would love to be a scrapper .... but the gamer side of me takes over  I just found this game Forge of Empires (its still in beta) and it won't leave me alone :rotfl:

I'm in the middle of ME2. I started from the beginning. I'm a huge Dragon Age fan. After I played those to death, I needed something new. I was hesitant about ME because I prefer a fantasy world and no guns. But the story makes it worth it.

You and I are kindered gaming spirits. Love the Elder Scrolls games (I've played every single one since Arena..the very first one on PC, through Skyrim). Loved DA1 and liked DA2 (DA3 is coming!).

Felt the same way about ME when the first one came out (shooters of any kind are not generally my thing)...but couldn't resist it. Too much "space opera" Star Wars pull to resist. And then I was hooked.

Oh and I'd like to add- I've lost my voice... Yay sinus troubles :( I have a Neti pot.... Hoping it will help. On the bright side kids are still healthy!!

You think that's bad? I had vocal cord surgery 2 weeks ago. I am not allowed to talk for 30 days. Which puts us to the week before we leave! And even then m

Sorry, baby boy hit the send button!! My voice may not be back to par. And then no strenuous use of it! Duh! I'm gonna be in Disney! What was I thinking :-)

I tried Guild Wars but there's just something about WoW that is like crack to me. I quit for 2 years and then I got the itch again. I think I'll fare better this time...moderation is the key! :lmao:

DBF plays Star Wars sometimes when he needs a break from studying. I can't watch him play though because he always chooses the evil options and it makes me feel bad :worried:

You and I are similiar-gaming and scrapbooking LOL go figure. I haven't scrapped much since summer....but I keep on buying. I just bought an October Afternoon Santa Sack and I loveeeeee it! I'm looking forward to starting my Disney scrapbook! I blow hot and cold on reading/watching scrapbooking stuff. Some months I can't stop looking at blogs and videos, other months I barely peek at 2peas. Not sure what triggers either one.
