Well, I am laying down the gauntlet again.
That's right, I'm subjecting myself to another commitment to providing quality food porn to the masses.
I'm back! Here's the index of links for the reviews, as I update them.
Handy Index of the Reviews:
The Fountain (Dolphin Resort)
Todd English's bluezoo(Dolphin Resort)
Quick F&W kiosk taste and Kitchen Conversations with Robert Irvine
Jiko Wine Dinner
Epcot Festival Kiosks Nosh Heard 'Round the World
Party for the Senses - Part 1
Party for the Senses - Part 2
French Regional Lunch - Burgundy at Bistro de Paris
Victoria and Albert's - Main Dining Room
California Grill
Festival kiosks - Part Deux
The facts:
When: October 15-21, 2008
Where: A Salute to All Food at WDW, but Mostly the Food and Wine Festival
Who: Lori, aka BriarRosie. I'll be seeing a few people I know will be there the same time I'm there, including some DIS board peeps (and lurkers!)
For someone taking a solo trip, I will be seeing lots of people I know. Go figure. Here's a rundown of what my plans are...
October 15:
October 16:
Kitchen Conversations with Robert Irvine.
This is one of the special food and wine events. I'm excited to see this ex-Food Network star and his mighty fine muscles. I was on the waiting list for the wine dinner held at Jiko, which is very unlikely at this point. I expect to nosh around World Showcase for dinner.
Edit on 10/10: I got off that wait list! I've got a spot at the Jiko Wine Dinner!
October 17:
Totally unplanned, so I expect even more Festival noshing.
October 18:
Party for the Senses. There will be a strong contingent of DIS people joining the Great Stampede for a table. (Avoiding the Stampede was actually more productive for me last year.)
October 19:
October 20:
Dinner at California Grill. It's been a while since I'd eaten there, so I'm looking forward to it.
So that's what the main foodie parts of my trip will be. I'll be getting Larded and Loaded all over again!
Come join me, will you?

October 15:
- Lunch TBA with one of my DIS friends. We're sticking around the Epcot resort area, so I suggested The Fountain quick service at the Dolphin, or Beaches and Cream.
- Dinner with Oybolshoi, Tink_Rules, and TheDISneyFamily (aka Brenda and the "two Michelles" with a couple of their spouses thrown into the mix) at Todd English's bluezoo

October 19:
- French Regional Lunch @ Bistro de Paris. Another food and wine festival event featuring Burgundy wines, something completely new to me.
- Victoria and Albert's - Main Dining Room for dinner. This is my third visit to the place, the first time being in the main dining room.
October 20:
