PLEASE someone tell me I won't be sorry. We are staying at Poly in August and have requested a ground floor room because we have two boys and the youngest is a climber. Balconies and him are not a good mix for my nerves.

THEN, I read the snake thread

Please tell me that a ground floor Poly room is ok and I won't have uninvited guests in our room (we plan to leave the sliding door shut when not there obviously).

Ahh, the infamous snake thread. Yea, it has scared me too! I live in the Chicago suburbs, the only snakes I see are at the zoo enclosed in glass.

It seems to be an isolated incident in the hotels. They are more scared of us apparently. I would not worry about it.

Next trip is probably late July at AKL So happy to see so many upcoming Poly trips, though

We LOVED our 1st floor room last month. Will definitely request 1st floor again. Never saw a snake. Did have some "guests" - although they weren't uninvited. I threw them some cereal

Johnsonet, I can see why you're going back to AKL though. It is a very magical destination.

No 3-resort split this time? I would have liked to try it this time, but it would have been too much moving for DH (and he deals with the moves).

At least you're going soon!

Were at MK now. POTC was a walk on, as was the CB Jamboree.
