October 2010 CANCELLED ADR Thread - Read 1st Post

I've tried picking up some of the canceled reservations right after they are posted, and also coordinating with some folks on here- and I never seem to get them. Even when we do them at the same time, it always shows me no availability online.

Has anyone actually had success from picking up a reservation from someone? Does a certain time of day work best? Would love any tips! I just have crummy luck I think!

Yes I have had luck, best thing to do is Cancel and within a minute or so it shows up...so just be ready!!

i was able to pick up an ohana dinner from a wonderful diser last night. it was 9pm...worked like a charm.
I would think that you should try a less busy time of day...prob less people are doing that kind of thing at night.

About to cancel Le Cellier on 10/30 at 1:35 p.m. - party of 4 - had to swap parks that day (no Park Hopper).

Will also likely be canceling Mama Melrose's on 10/31 at 5:30 p.m.

I'm sure these will go lightning fast!

BTW, called the line and some reservaitons are working and others are not, their system is still iffy. So anyone wanting to book should call. You might get lucky!
