I just have to sincerely thank you for such a wonderful, detailed food report. I read each and every word and savored every single picture. I LOVED IT!!! We are staying at the Swan for three nights and AKL for three nights next time and am planning on a Jiko dinner and a few Mara meals, but now am FOR SURE booking a Boma breakfast. It just looks too awesome.

You are very welcome! We are staying at the AKL in Oct and plan on eating at Jiko, Boma for both breakfast and dinner and a few Mara meals too!

I have never read a better dining review, and OMG the pictures!!! I can't wait for October to come as I am hoping you will repeat and grace us with another amazing report! Thank you! Dining is one of our favorite parts of the World, and you have enticed us to try quite a few places we would not have previously thought of!

Thank you! and yes I am going to do another LIVE report in October..I had so much fun the last time and all of you Disers seem to enjoy it so for sure I am going to do it!

DH and I kid that we go to WDW just for the food and the rides and attractions are a bonus!

I'm curious about the Pirate and Parrot....I understand being a bit taken aback when handed your meal and seeing only the shell and meat, but it sounds like you didn't understand that the condiments were added by yourself? Was the food tasty after you added condiments? Looks like they had cheese, lettuce and salsa, was their anything else, maybe sour cream or guacamole? I like simple mexican food like this and it sure looks good....but of course the flavor is in the meat not the lettuce and cheese. Salsa can make or break a lot of mexican food too, was it tasty or was it Pace, lol.

Thanks for a great report......I'm making notes....we already had Boma breakfast reservations and now I'm excited about trying it. I kept eyeing the Italian but like Mexican their are a few items that can either make or break it.....and it sounds like Tutto did it right! I just wish it wasn't so much food.....and so expensive. My girls are "adults" by WDW standards, so that hurts the pocketbook when they don't eat a full meal each....I wonder how fancy places like Tutto would feel about us ordering two entrees, and appetizer and sharing??

We used to eat at the Pirate and the Parrot all the time, it was DH's favorite place to go but they have been closed forever, just opening up during busy times of the year. They used to give you a taco salad with beef, beans, cheese, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream and black olives...your only choices to add were hot or mild salsa...it was so good back then. We were very happy to see it open this time but they have changed things around, no bean, just a scoop of meat in a super greasy shell that gave us heartburn all night long and you add in shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions and very bland salsa, no quacamole and just one pitiful prepackaged bit of sour cream.

Tutto Italia was such a great meal! The family next to us had a little girl that wanted to order an appie as her meal (the fried mozzarella) and the waiter said no problem that she could have whatever she wanted. The tables were super close together so we could hear them talking. Her fried cheese looked so good! We found Tutto to be the most accommodating of all the TS places.

Thank you so much for the great thread! I am pretty new to the boards and this is one of the best food posts I have seen. We are going in September with my parents (in their 70's) and my 19 yr old DS. I have changed several ADRs because of your posts! We are eaters (that is what I tell the DROs when they ask me if I am SURE that I want a particular dinner reservation after a lunch reservation on the same day!) and from one foodie to another-great job!

That is great!!! I have DH hooked on food porn too! We decided on Yak & Yeti and Spoodles for dinner (leave in 3 weeks!) because of the wonderful pictures....and we are going back to Boma for breakfast too!

So I am a day late and a dollar short but I just want to add my thanks for this review. I only found you guys a few days ago and our trip is next week. I relied on guide books to help me plan our ADRs and well since reading this and another review on here I have called a few times to make changes. Some I could get and some I could not. I also have the obstacle of having a VERY picky eater but even places that I really want to try like BOMA seem to be able to accomodate him so yay!! You have helped me make my family's trip better!
