Match Your Mate is only done once per cruise...always has been.
Can't believe they did this! The show is performed in the ADULT AREAS, of course the content will be slightly more mature. Honestly the show would receive a PG rating. It's not that "trashy".
And yet Disney still wonders why they can't get more adult only couples onboard....
I hate PC, it's killing our world. I wish I knew which upstanding tight-assed individuals were offended by this skit so I could get myself invite to their dinner party and rip numerous big offensive farts. As an adults-only late-at-night event this should have offended no one, and if did, leave...and let live. Sad.

It was not on the Oct 12 Wonder... We were told that when Natalie come on board as Cruise director, since she came from the Dream and they didn't do this on the dream, that she removed it from the plan going forward. Not sure how true that was, but that is what we were told.
Will miss it, but I assume that since it has been around for a while, they must be getting tired of performing it. Just home they come up with something new.
I was just on Magic November 20th-24th and will say the adult night life was some of the best I saw after 20 cruises, 18 as a adult, lots if people in club each night
Just received this e-mail from Rebekah (our multi-response Executive Guest Correspondent) regarding the "If I Were Not Upon the Sea" skit: 12/3/13 Dear XXXX: Thank you for your email. We are always looking for new ways to entertain our guests, be it stage shows, guest entertainers, new ports of call, or crew talent shows. Currently the skit you referenced is only offered on longer cruises such as the Trans-Atlantic and Panama Canal voyages. I hope this information is helpful. Sincerely, Rebekah Executive Guest Correspondent Disney Cruise Line

justmestace said:The larger percentage of Disney "adults" are those who bring children onboard and are probably more in their 30's and 40's.....and except for perhaps a very young 30 year old, people in this age group don't consider a roomful of 18 and 19 year olds "adult" or entertaining.
What might appeal to someone 18, 19, 20...even up to MAYBE 24...will not appeal to very many people older than that.
Seeing the crew dress in 60's costumes and try desperately to get people to dance is not fun.

Was it cancelled because it was offensive? Or was it because it was sophomoric? I have not been on a disney cruise yet but after looking up this skit on youtube I can say I hope it's not representative of the rest of the entertainment. I was not offended, but I was not entertained.
