Might be able to draw a line between this coasters cancellation and Slinky Dog Dash taking its place as the Pixar themed coaster of HS.

lol i will!! he is a disney fan, but also a grumpy ole' man lol honestly think he is against it so much cuz he really loves EPCOT. i on the other hand want to go to all the parks at least once. i think he also has it in his head that since we have DVC we should ONLY stay at WDW, even though we could use our points at DL, but i heard its harder to get Grand Californian if its not your home resortTell him I SAID to go. He'll love it if he likes WDW. The SoCal climate makes it an easier visit, even if the food ain't as good, imo. We'll be there the last week of September.
Villas at Disneyland Hotel is opening this September. It'll have a lot more rooms, should be easier to get a studio there if you're flexible on dates! Especially as they declare more and more inventory for points bookings.lol i will!! he is a disney fan, but also a grumpy ole' man lol honestly think he is against it so much cuz he really loves EPCOT. i on the other hand want to go to all the parks at least once. i think he also has it in his head that since we have DVC we should ONLY stay at WDW, even though we could use our points at DL, but i heard its harder to get Grand Californian if its not your home resort
it really just depends on my hubby. i'm a stay at home wife and my hubby is a bus driver for NJ Transit but he bids for vacation in November for the following year. does DL have a slow season?cuz even if we only do like a long weekend kind of trip that would be fine.Villas at Disneyland Hotel is opening this September. Disneyland and DCA are both well worth the trip. Even for a WDW fan, there is a lot of interesting stuff out there. The parks feel different. Disneyland compares favorably to the Magic Kingdom, despite the small castle. DCA has some unique attractions, including the whole cars land area which should be experienced in both daylight and at night.now i REALLY need to convince my hubby to go to Disneyland at least once. He's stubborn and only wants to do disney world whereas i wanna do all of them.

Disney shares more looks inside its new Frozen-themed land
June 22, 2023, 10:30 PM · Walt Disney Imagineering today is sharing more concept art for its upcoming World of Frozen land, which opens officially this November at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Disney's first completely Frozen-themed land will feature its first Frozen-themed roller coaster, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. Disney's concept art shows the ride's loading station, along with the decorative detail on its sled-like coaster trains.

You can see more from the ride, including some test footage, in our previous post, First look at Disney's new 'Frozen'-themed roller coaster.
The land's dark ride will be a plussed installation of Epcot's Frozen Ever After. Today, WDI published a concept image of the ride's scene where guests will meet Olaf and Sven, in a snowy forest, under an ice crystal tree created by Elsa.
You can see some actual photos from inside the ride in our post, Disney shares new looks from its next 'Frozen Ever After' ride.
World of Frozen also will include "a unique interactive play experience," according to WDI, inside Anna and Elsa's childhood Playhouse, called Playhouse in the Woods. Let's use this as an excuse to look back at the Frozen show at Disneyland's Royal Theatre.
The land's restaurant will be called Golden Crocus Inn, after the national symbol of Arendelle. No menu yet, but maybe it will share some dishes from the Frozen-themed restaurant on the Disney Wish?
In addition to the restaurant, World of Frozen will offer a sweet shop called Northern Delights.
Finally, the land's merchandise location will be called Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles.

This just makes me even more excited to see what Japan is cooking up with their Frozen land (I've heard they're not getting Frozen Ever After but an entirely new ride).Am I...am I going to Hong Kong? I just might have to!
Disney making me want to go to countries I didn't want to go before. It's a trap, one I fell in.Am I...am I going to Hong Kong? I just might have to!
I want to go! DH won't let us go to China but I think we can compromise on Hong Kong. I'll need to plan for it soon.Am I...am I going to Hong Kong? I just might have to!

Exactly. This is why, while we won't be crazy about it, I might be able to convince him that we go just the one time.Hong Kong is China, but also kinda not. I would definitely feel more comfortable going to HK over Shanghai, but I'm still not crazy about it.
We saw them at Oogie Boogie Bash last year. Such cute costumes!

Where is that property? Can I see a map for it?The property adjacent to DLR/DCA can be used for expansion, imo, and it should be. It's for sale at the right price, trust me. And I'd much rather capital be employed in park expansion, rather than wasting it making movies/tv shows that no one watches.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
I think Magic Kingdom should bring Tokyo Disneyland's Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek to America as a replacement for the Tomorrowland Speedway, which I find as a weak version of Autopia.According to former imagineer Jim Shull, there were plans to add a Monsters Inc door rollercoaster in Pixar Place, on the end closer to Backlot Tour. Obviously never happened but interesting to know that was actually a plan and not just a rumour

That ride was super cute! I enjoyed that a lot and the queue is really cool. I think Disney should bulldoze Winnie the Pooh down and put Pooh's Hunny Hunt in it's place. Easily one of the best trackless rides and the set design is incredible. I rode it 3 times while I was there.I think Magic Kingdom should bring Tokyo Disneyland's Monsters, Inc.
