"Movietown News presents, "Spotlight on Adventure." What you are now witnessing is footage never before seen by civilized humanity: a lost world in South America. Lurking in the shadow of majestic Paradise Falls, it sports plants and animals undiscovered by science. Who would dare set foot on this inhospitable summit? Why our subject today is .." well me and my fiance!
Actually scrap that
Movietown New Presents, "Spotlight on Free Dining" What you are soon to witness if food pornage never only seen before by the civilized humanity of the disboard

Welcome to my dining report... I'm hoping to make it a live report as much as possible!
We shall be at Pop Century for 11 nights from September 18th - September 29th
Right now I am typing from the Sacramento airport waiting for our flight to depart to Atlanta and then Orlando!

The cast...(which I will update later with photos of us in adventure gears bottle cap member caps oh maybe we could be the Pop Century troop of the Wilderness Explorer's troop)

Me ... Arden
I am 22 I just graduated from university in Ontario, Canada. I met my fiance on the internet many moons ago okay so maybe 4 years ago worth of moons. We decided we needed a trip together and with money I saved for a grad trip we chose disney world! I am a lover of boring old food, but recently have been branching out to loving Asian food, German food and French food. Im allergic to mushrooms and shellfish (like anaphalactic allergic ick) but I will try new things not containing those new items...can't guarantee I'll enjoy it. My idea of heaven is something with cheese covered with more cheese and some melted cheese.

DFi... Chris 31 (yup I like em' older...but not like Charles Muntz older...I do not like that master!)
I met him a few years ago and seriously when I met him it was a real "I have just met you and I love you!" and I still do very much. We're getting married next year and are planning a disney honeymoon of course. He is a hate of onions, a lover of anything sweet or containing avocados. He is adventerous and will try many things, expect him to order more unique and adventerous dishes than me... he would be more likely to search out paradise falls than me, as well I'm afraid of heights and can't swim too well!

Oh I have some photos of us from MNSSHP

Well as we are flying Delta and food is not free, nor is the purchasable food not interesting I decided to just bring an array of junk for us to eat.
Though my food is not overly interesting as beignets or gumbo of Tiana... I can get together something nicer than what Scuttle could dig up (though his finding a dinglehopper was quite useful and keeps my hair nice)

So without adieu our plane food
DSCF2629.jpg

So this is a grouping of your typical junkfood from Dollar Tree and Safeway
In the words of Mama Odie this is gonna be good! Well when we eat it on the plane anyways!
DSCF2626.jpg

An outside of a pizza box...now I must plug this pizza Milos in Rocklin California best Greek food ever and pizza too if you live near Sacramento I suggest trying it for sure~!
DSCF2625.jpg

And here is our pizza its the Extreme Pepperoni! Its a layer of cheese and pepperoni and then they do another layer of cheese and pepperoni..as Guy Fieri would say its a "Winner Winner Pizza Dinner"

So this shall be our meals until we hit Disney World but I thought I'd leave you hanging with these photos for now.

Now we must load the plane as Adventure is Out There! Disney Adventure that is ;)

Wow....two layers of cheese and pepperoni. I am very jealous!

Can't wait to see more.

Well an update for you all while I upload to photobucket. Lines are ridiculously short! We managed to do Spaceship Earth, Figment, Captain Eo, Living with the Land, Circle of Life, Soarin, Nemo and Friends, Turtle Talk, Mission Space, Universe of Energy and test track in about 4 or 5 hours we had Nooooo lines.
Tonight we are eating at Via Napoli so that is pretty exciting!

Chris and I arrived at the Pop Century primed for maximum adventure then we remembered 11 nights 10 park tickets yeah we dont have tickets for today! So we went and rode the boat from DHS to the Epcot Resort hotels and got off at the Beach Club. At this point we've been up oh 24 hours I was feeling hot and sweaty (I swear the sight of us could have scared Ursula herself!), so we decided we needed sugar! So we went to Beaches and Cream!
Oh I forgot to add this to my table service list but its here now.
We have a lovely waitress , I can't remember her name but do remember she was from Harrisburg Pennsylvania, and the other 2 there from Orlando and the last one from Haiti. Yeah I have a memory for random information like that!
We decided we weren't up for huge sundaes so we opted for!
A vanilla soda for me!
DSCF2640.jpg

And a Frozen Sunshine for Chris
DSCF2641.jpg

The frozen sunshine came with the tin too
DSCF2642.jpg

In case you were wondering this is what a frozen sunshine is (description from all ears!)
orange sherbet, vanilla ice cream and seltzer, blended to perfection, topped with whipped cream, and a candied orange slice

Now the soda was beyond yummy it really hit the spot very much. We chose to sit at the counter had our choice of booth table or counter, we always choose counters and enjoyed watching several yummy ice cream creations be made.

I am running on 4 hours of sleep in 48 hours oh the loveliness of vacation adrenaline. Though I'm feeling it now... seriously I think I got stuck pulling the floating balloon house around Epcot!!! :scared1:

I am off to allow birdies to dress me and make me decent for Via Napoli tonight!
Following later hopefully shall be WPE, Everything Pop, Kringla og Bakeri and Sunshine Seasons ...and Via Napoli!

Yummy on the frozen sunshine. I hadn't heard of that one before but now haved added it to my list of "definately want to try that!".

I can just tell that this will be a fun report! Looking forward to it and pics too :wizard:

Hey everyone ! So Via Napoli was great (review to follow tomorrow I'm SOOooo Tired!)
But I wanted to share something. From Epcot we left on the Epcot resort boat at 9pm and got to DHS at 9:27 and we entered the park and watched Fantasmic! We walked in got good seats and got to enjoy Fantasmic without waiting 30-90 minutes just maybe 20 seconds after we sat down for Mickey to come out.

So we are cancelling our Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose so any suggestions of where we should go ?
We're contemplating Chef Des France if we can find something, The Wave, Kona (for breakfast) or Liberty Tree Tavern. Any suggestions or opinions? Its becoming interactive now!

Okay my Pina Colava from Petals Im drinking has given me enough juice to share our first proper meal!
*Insert Sleeping Beauty Fanfare* But instead of Long Live the Princess Aurora lets sing
Long Live Wolfgang Puck Express! Long live the yummy food...Long live the yummy food...long live Wolfgang Puck Express!

As this is Chris's first trip he's never been but heard me rave about it...when he saw the selection he figured it was table service I'm like nope...his jaw dropped...now its really true he even said this after hearing of my trip report "disney food I have just met you and I love you" though he may have went a bit far and asked to be Free Dining's prisoner...yeah a little awkward. I suggested feeding it chocolate if it is anything like Kevin. But when suggesting this idea he held his special free Ghiradelli sample and decided not to share (by the way its Pumpkin Spice caramel and so good)

DSCF2767.jpg

(I figured you needed the food porn, alas I have failed you dissers without taking an actual photo of the chocolate , you see you can't even wait two sections to eat those samples.) Oh heck I might as well admit my sin we went back through again and got seconds as the sample hander outter had changed! Yep I guess we'll see Hades , Pain and Panic...and as I'm optimistic Hercules to save us !

Well we chose the Chicken pennete alfredo (for Chris) and I chose the Half Rosemary Chicken with Garlic Mashed
DSCF2650.jpg

DSCF2652.jpg

Well Chris loved WPE soooooo much if he were a mermaid he sure as heck would give up his fins for it. He ate all of his and half of mine (the heat was getting to my stomach)
The chicken in his was so flavorful and the dish was really really yummo as Rachel Ray would say.

Mine I loved as well the mashed potatoes were the star over the chicken to me!

For dessert I got fruit, boring I know right ?! Well since my last trip I've lost 100 lbs (80 more to go before my wedding I may get another 25 and im darn proud) so I tried to get something healthy (you'll see today healthy went out the window, oh well no such things as calories on vacation)
DSCF2653.jpg

Chris got the creme brulee and deemed it creamy and brulee-ey so yeah it was good!
DSCF2651.jpg

We had sprite and diet coke to drink and enjoyed them as well.

Now the Pina Colava has wore off oh well! But you got another update!
