I was at Vanderbilt in their Nurse Practitioner Program (BSN to MSN) for one semester in 2001. I ended up deciding I liked my old job better, so I came back home! I was there for 9/11/2001 - which was crazy being away from home, etc.

Anyway...
I am sure I am not alone...we want some more!!

You know, teens are so rude today. Not all of them, but a whole bunch of them are!!! I can say it because I work with them everyday!!! I would have done the same thing by taking a picture!!! Rude kids...... Thats when you tell them, "I will so give you a papercut in front of Jasper!!!"

I am finishing up my 'alone' time here and then we will be in for some fun!

I have been meaning to do this for awhile...and yes SORRY I'm SO LAZY!!

With all this talk of Michael Jackson. I watched Thriller (or pieces of it) several times and what did it remind me of.......the HAUNTED MANSION!!!!

But before that excitement, first I went to ride Astro Orbiter while Dawn went to SM and had to deal with the rude teen's.

I couldn't ever remember riding this ride. And I'm glad I did. It's really cool at night and you get some great shots of the castle

Matt called when I was up there and he rode with me

From there I marched my way through FantasyLand and headed towards the Haunted Mansion while Dawn went to ride BTM.

I did not take any pictures of the stretch room, but VERY funny story!!!! If you remember our glow necklaces/bracelets from earlier. Well when I went into the room the girl (haunted CM) told me I had to remove them. When I did she said 'you MUST put them away!' So I took them off and put them in the front pocket of my backpack.

There was only about 7-8 people in the room. She was pacing around the edge like they always do, and I was standing by the little umbrella girl so I could hop on a doombuggy quickly! Well about half way through the stretch room thing I realized she would probably try to scare me since my back was GLOWING! So I was watching more of where everyone was and of course knew exactly when the lights were going go out. I had taken my backpack off.....lights out.....I moved to another spot.....the lights come back on and she is standing right beside this poor girl that SCREAMED and probably about peed her pants! It was HILARIOUS!!!!! The door opened and I walked as quickly as I could to get in my buggy!!!! Still laughing hysterically

Since there was no one really on the ride I asked if I could stay on....they said no, sorry you must go around again. So I jumped off, texted Dawn, and jumped right back on the ride b/c it was about 11:59 and as long as you are in line by the time the park closes

In that first ride I was at least a good 5 cars ahead of the next riders, and the next ride there was only me and other couple so I got way ahead of them too.....SO.....I CHEATED.....I TOOK FLASH PICTURES!!! But shhhhhhhhhhhh....don't tell, because I'm going to share them!!

These pictures I believe are in order of the HM. I'm sorry if I have screwed any of it up!! Having these pics from 2 different rides started to confuse me as to what came first, second and third.

One of these days.....I'm going to ride this over and over and over and over until I get stopped somewhere along the Ballroom!!!!
I WANT a good picture of the Ballroom. Don't really care where but just a good picture. You can see the ghost a little in these.
But you must be COMPLETELY still to get a good pic!!

Thanks for the HM pics with no flash! I have always wanted to take some but I am a chicken!!! When I worked at Six Flags, I worked at the Monster Plantation. We had cameras everywhere in there so I always think they will see me take them and then meet me outside!!

....I felt sort of sneaky doing it....but it was SO fun. And when I saw them in full size....WOW!

You will have to get a facebook account. Because between myself and Mel, we'll definitely will have the pics there but I doubt I will do a TR. Just don't' have it in me....I don't' think. I may feel different after I go....but I'm just not good in getting these things finished (obviously ). After about 1/2 way through I'm usually just OVER it!!
