2018 Watch: All 2018 Itineraries are announced as of May 11th, 2017!

Any word if they will do another Iceland adventure? I really want to take that one, but cant make the budget work for 2017. Would love that for 2018.

Iceland is on my bucket list to visit for sure!

Isn't Breakaway going to the Baltics next summer (with Getaway moving to NY for the Bermuda runs)?
Is it? I didn't realize NCL had released their Summer 2018 European cruises. I get emails from them daily it seems. Just not the important ones apparently.

We did the Breakaway to Bermuda last October. Lovely ship -- but the strangest layout we've seen in all our cruises. Not to our liking, but loved Bermuda. NCL is never our first choice for cruising, but it was convenient out of NY for our needs.

Iceland air has a sale on air from NY and Washington to Iceland.

Thanks. Since we have our vacation booked this year, I probably won't do this until 2019. But I will keep an eye on that airline for deals.

The itineraries are up on the US website and are open for booking. Breakaway is doing 9-day baltic sailings at least jun-sep 2018.

Yes I checked it out. I'm holding off to see what DCL and RCCL are offering. I bet RCCL's new ship will be in the Med that seems to be the most popular itinerary . Im also wondering if Symphony will be too large for the Baltic ports.

Is there an alert or notice before they post new cruise information or do we need to check daily. We are looking forward to Christmas 2018.

So, I'm sure that 2019 will be a LONG while before those itineraries are posted?:bored:

As much as I'd love to discuss future cruises, I can't stop staring at your profile picture. WTH????

I'm 'technically' supposed to be waiting for 2019 dates (since we're doing two cruises this year and Disneyland and Mexico in 2018) but I'm secretly hoping DH will agree to a return to the Fantasy in Fall 2018 :rolleyes1

It seems like all the new ships do the Med which we've done on DCL. We've also done Norway on RCCL. I'd like to do a Baltic cruise. I'm guessing DCL will be out of our budget if it's priced like this year. 12k+ for a cruise is out of my league. I should have taken advantage of the Getaway in the Baltics this year. I love that ship, and the itinerary was great. If NCL puts a new ship in the Baltics again will do that otherwise will go to Alaska on NCL's newest ship the Bliss. The Bliss has a great Panama cruise with stops in Costa Rica, Columbia and Guatamala if anyone's interested. The 7 day Baltic cruises on DCL haven't been too bad pricing wise. The itinerary's just aren't as exciting as the longer cruises.

Did you enjoy your cruise on RCCL? We are contemplating going to Europe in Summer/Fall 2018 and may need to book with a non Disney cruise line. I sailed with RCCL years ago, but in all fairness the ship was old, outdated and now retired. The itinerary was a baja cruise to Ensenada and Catalina Island.

The beginning of 2019 should be out October of this year. But yeah......long wait for the release...and the cruise ;-)

Well, October isn't too bad! We go on our next cruise in December, so that will give me plenty of time to research and plan for OBB. LOL :yay::hyper::rotfl2:

That ship gets such crappy reviews. We've sailed on the Getaway and enjoyed it. As much as I like the Baltic itinerary on NCL I'm hesitant to book that ship. I'm not that fussy and I can usually weed out the bad reviews, but that ship has high percentage of negative reviews. It's hard to ignore.

Yes we did. It wasn't the best ship for kids. I would like to try one of the new ships, but all the good ships sail out of Miami. Were doing a back to back Fantasy/Carnival Vista during Fall break this year. I'm only taking my youngest on the Fantasy for his birthday because it's way to expensive for the four of us. I'd rather not pull my oldest out of school. Ok I'm lying.. if the Fantasy was cheaper I'd pull him out LOL. The four of us will be on the Vista. I'm very interested to see what RCCL has to offer in Europe next year. I have a feeling DCL will be more than I want to pay.

The Vista is a great ship! We absolutely love her, did 8 days on her last June and have 14 more this June. Feel free to ask any questions about her.

Nothing could be worse than the Pride of America - which solidly bad reviews didn't even prepare us for how truly bad it was. I didn't read many bad reviews about the Breakaway before we left, but didn't do that much research as the pricing and itinerary were exactly what we wanted. But it was our first cruise on NCL after the horrid experience in 2008 on POA. The Breakway's rooms and food were good, their shows fantastic and the free specialty restaurants really some of the best. We just hated how the spread the casino was spread out across the whole deck and so that the only way to get from point A to point B on that deck was to walk through the smoke filled areas. We started going up one deck and down to avoid it. If the price were right, I'd take it again because they were the only line that stayed the most days.
