I am trying to figure out which resort we will stay at for our next trip. DH wants to go back to AKL (which I love too), but I have been wanting to stay at Yacht Club. We will be going for Food & Wine Festival so it would make more sense to stay at YC.
How long does it actually take to walk to DHS & Epcot form YC? Would you recommend using the boats instead?

Definitely, from the YC or the BC, walk it, don't do the boat ... the boat will take much much longer!

The boats from HS to YC take approximately the same amount of time as a brisk walk does, probably around 17-20 minutes. We didn't time it, but my family has raced the HS boat twice, and we won (barely) both times. We walked pretty quickly because we were in a competion (even though the boat didn't know it). If you're tired or it is really hot, take the boat. If it is a pleasant evening for a stroll, it really is a pretty walk.

The walk to EPCOT is just amazing. It is so close and convenient!

Okay, so walk to Epcot & take the boat to DHS. We have little kids, so we wouldn't be walking fast.
Now, what about the Boardwalk? Can you walk to the Boardwalk from YC?

We are staying there for the 1st time in Nov.! We eat at Beachs and Cream every trip and fell in love with the BC! I got a pin and put it to use! We are SO EXCITED! This will be our 1st Christmas trip as well. Looking forward to the decorations!

Just can't wait. I was telling my DH today, when you are having a bad day at work just think BC! He said I will have to remember that!

Our dates are Nov. 13 to the 20!

Mike, thanks for keeping all of these lists.

Haven't quite figured the best way, or frequency for updating, but I will copy the lists you and the others continue to post to the front page. It will be nice to have a place to look for the lists instead of going through the thread. I'll try to keep up. In the morning!
