OH MY GOODNESS... I just had the most brilliant idea. When we have our big epic monorail shirt wearing DISmeet with everyone, WE NEED TO ALL RIDE SPLASH MOUNTAIN TOGETHER. I mean... WE JUST HAVE TO.

We have the exact same happy place within our happy place! That spot is BEYOND perfect. There is nothing better!!!

Your mirror hugging picture is hilarious and adorable.

On our way over toward Africa, Ryan saw the cart full of musical items?
& being the strange one he is, insisted on this picture.

I've said it before & I'll say it again..
Weirdo.
But I sure do love him.

So we traveled on,
& we passed the Flights of Wonder,
we weren't going in but we saw a guy with one of my top 3 favorite animals!

Oh, you pretty pretty bird!

So once he forced me away from that beautiful bird,
I decided it was time for me to find a new pair of Mickey ears!
I decided on some zebra print ones, since we were in Animal Kingdom after all!

We stopped for a quick photoshoot with a beautiful view of the Tree of Life,

Again, it was another rainy day, as you can see the clouds.. (sigh), AH WELL.
We were still in Disney, so we couldn't be too sad!

Then we got some PhotoPass pictures taken!

I edited this one because the original was just SO dark,
but this is actually one of my all time favorites!

After we finished up our little shoot, we finally made it to our destination!
SAFARI TIME BABY!

We waited only about 20 minutes, & boarded our jeep!
We were in the front row with these three questionable looking people,
so I asked Ryan to sit next to them & I would sit on the outside.
What a grave, grave mistake I had just made..

As soon as we started moving,
the sky exploded.
I swear, I have never seen more rain in my whole entire life.
& of course with me being on the outside, I was basically sitting under a waterfall.
Hence why I have no pictures for the safari.
Luckily, my camcorder is waterproof so I did record some footage.
But I was just so absolutely miserable.
I was soaked. I mean, GALLONS of water were in my pants.
I just couldn't wait to get off so I could get a towel or something to clean myself up.
Finally we made it back.
I was disappointed with the changes, but we got to see where the zebras would be, so that was pretty cool.

We got off & Ryan decided to call his mom while I dried off for a little bit.
I took this God awful picture, where it looks like my face is huge,
but look at my poor soaking wet hair... ugh, RAINNNN!!!

Then after I wasn't producing puddles everywhere I stood,
it was time to go see my favorite animals of all time!
MEERKATS!

I apologize for all of this, but I love them so much...

MY BABIES!

I CAN'T TAKE IT!
I WANT MY OWN TO LOVE.

Then we saw this adorable baby & his mom,
I recorded a lot of it, so that was pretty fun.

I took a really hilarious picture here, that somehow got deleted?
So I apologize, I'll retake it next time.

We left my beautiful meerkats & the gorillas & saw a little leather bracelet stand.
I knew immediately what I wanted to get.

To infinity & beyond<3
I still wear my bracelet every single day.
It is one of my favorite purchases I've ever made.

We were walking around, riding some more rides, eating tons of snacks, I forget the specifics, but then we saw that the Hundred Acre gang was meeting!
It was time for some character action!
Ryan was unsure about taking his picture with them at first,
what a big bum,
but I was ready to go!
I love my big bear, my bouncy friend, & my gloomy pal!

We were waiting in line for about 15 minutes,
& this family in front of us, I think they were either British or Australian,
now usually I LOVE accents.
I speak in a British accent more often than I think is healthy,
but this group in front of us was driving me nuts.
The three younger girls, I'm guessing they were 10-12, were SCREAMING at the characters.
They kept yelling for Tigger to look & he waved, & would go back to whomever he was with.
But they just kept yelling.
Eventually the character attendant had to tell them that the gang had to spend some time with everyone else & they would get their turn.
FINALLY.
Then they were making rude remarks about the cast member.
Ridiculous.
Finally they got to meet them & just wouldn't leave.
C'mon people!

So first up was Pooh!
I ran up to him & hugged him like I was 5 years old!

SO HAPPY!

He was telling me that we both have ears! Silly bear!

ADORABLE.

Next up was Eeyore!
I smushed my face into his head!

Gotta love him!<3

THEN ONE OF MY FAVORITES!
TIGGER!

MY BOY.

Finally, Tigger dragged Ryan to him & made him take a picture!
THANK YOU TIGGER!

He was giving him bunny ears!

Pure happiness on his face!

Then as we were leaving Tigger tried to follow us, but his attendant made him stay, AWHHH.


Finally it was time for dinner!

SO..... I just finished this whole update & my Internet shut down.... I like can't even believe it.
I could punch something.
Ugh. Time to start over.

We headed towards the entrance of the park, it was time for dinner!
Ryan really wanted to walk through DinoLand again, so we did.
He got a little distracted when we he found this little fella...

I have no words for this next picture....

I love him.

After I convinced him to get away from his dino, we kept on a-moving.
Stopping for a quick PhotoPass picture!

We didn't head out the regular exit, we took the one to the side!
Some of you probably already know where we were headed..

WOO! Rainforest!

We headed in & Ryan took a ton of pictures. He really loved it in there.
I asked him to send me these pictures billions of times..
He still hasn't.
A year later.
...
I guess I'm never getting them.

But I have this picture of his excitement..

Our waited walked up as I was taking this to take our drink orders.
I actually had to do a double take.
I thought our waiter was the Rock.
Yes, Dwayne Johnson..
Identical clone!
He was a huge guy, it was kind of intimidating,
until he asked us what we would like to drink.
He sounded like a 13 year old girl.
Ohmygosh.

After I collected my thoughts & didn't laugh out loud, I ordered my usual drink,
Shirley Temple!
I think Ryan got a Coke.

When our waiter walked away a thunderstorm started.
I hadn't warned Ryan of this beforehand.
He jumped back so hard & practically screamed,
"WHY ARE THE ANIMALS SCREAMING & THE CEILING FLASHING!?"
I cried from laughter for about 10 minutes.

We ordered our food after that.
Started out with the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer.
DELICIOUS!

I think Ryan ordered a steak or something meaty.
& I got the same thing I always get,
Mojo Bones!
yummy yummy yummy.

Again, I apologize for the lack of food pictures,

After we were done & paid, Ryan was getting a little sleepy.
I figured since there was no EMH that night that I would let him get some rest.
I didn't want him to be cranky the whole trip, cause this boy needs his sleep like no other.

We caught our bus back to Coronado.
Once we were walking to our room, I saw my loves...

Bliss.

We got back to the room & Ryan passed out.
Of course, I don't sleep in Disney so I watched some Stacey, & called my mom, my dad, my sisters, & my bestfriend.

Around 2AM, I figured I might as well get some sleep, we had another big day at Disney ahead of us!


Where were we going tomorrow?
Where was dinner?
How much more fun would we have?

I was so excited when we got them! & I know! I couldn't believe he had never been there, I had begged him for years to go, I was so excited when he finally said yes & now we're going back in 55 days!

I was awoken the next morning by a very cheerful Mickey Mouse.
I once again, got up & UNNECESSARILY straightened my hair.

I had some delicious breakfast essentials...

Then I woke Ryan up. Forced him to take yet some more mirror pictures.
It became sort of a daily thing.

Clearly, he wasn't awake yet..

We were out the door about 15 minutes later at 8AM!

Our bus pulled up as soon as we got to the bus stop.
We were on a roll with these buses!

Where were we headed today?
EPCOT!

The air was so damp from the constant torrential downpour that as soon as we stepped off the bus, my hair unstraightened.
You'd think I would give up by now, but no.
I had just gotten it cut that when I tried to put it in a ponytail, half of it stayed down. UGH! THE STRUGGLE!

We took some more pictures & then got some more PP pictures taken.

What a gloomy looking sky.
BUT WE CARRIED ON!

After our photoshoot, we decided to go on Spaceship Earth first!
All I could think about was smelling Rome..
I can almost smell it now.
Perfection.
UGH.

Everytime Kelly(WHO IS MAKING HER APPEARANCE SOON!) & I ride we ALWAYS take a picture of our favorite lady.

We love her & cry from laughter everytime.

After we got off we decided to go to the Land!
Once we got in & I stood there in my happy daze for a minute, we decided we were hungry!
Sunshine Seasons here we come!
I love this picture.

We both decided to get a chicken Caesar salad.
HOLY MOTHER OF ALL DELICIOUS SALADS.
I dream of that salad to this day.
Ohmygosh, it was so crispy & fresh & amazing.
& the best part?
I actually got a picture of it!

YUMMMMM!
We also got some desserts.
I had mousse & A LOT of it.
I think Ryan got a little bit of everything.
I wish I had pictures of that.


After we were done eating, we decided to go on Soarin'!
The standby line said 25 minutes.. I didn't really believe it but we tried anyways.
We ended up waiting about 35, but oh well.
There were these little Hispanic boys in front of us, full on boxing eachother.
The one couldn't have been any older than 4 was kicking his brothers butt!
It was insane to watch, the parents just didn't even notice.
At one point the older brother started to cry.
But then he suddenly just shoved his brother to the ground.
So there was that.

We were excited!

YAY!

Ryan of course loved it. Who doesn't?
I smell the oranges now. yummmmm.

After that we headed over to good old Ellen.
Again, Kelly & I have another joke.
We will just randomly text eachother & say "Stupid Judy" or "Stupid Ellen".
Universe of Energy time!

The next show was in 10 minutes, so we just sat on the ledge & waited.
Recorded some more video & took a few pictures.

We were let inside & there was barely any one around us so we sat on the back ledge.

As we were sitting an older couple came over & sat next to me.
Then a HUUUUGE group came in, they looked Indian.
They all stood directly in front of us, & how do I say this without sounding entirely rude..
It had seemed like they had forgotten their shower this morning..
Then out of no where the woman sitting next to me got up & walked towards them & said,
"If you could just go stand on the other side of the room so I am able to breathe, that would be great!"
I just stared for a minute unsure of what their reaction would be.
They eventually moved after an intense 5 minute staredown.

Ryan & I got up & walked toward the front when the movie started.

I have always had a special place in my heart for this ride because when I was younger, I remember a specific time that I was sitting on my dad's shoulders, & the part when Ellen says, "You, yeah you, I like your haircut." I had always thought she was speaking to me. Lame I know, but I was young & it had completely made my day. hahahah, uhhh, funny times.

After our LOOOOONG ride we went to exit & saw a MONSOON outside.
I mean, we thought it had rained yesterday on the safari? That was nothing.
It was completely pouring.
We stood under the awning for about 15 minutes, then realized the rain wasn't slowing down at all.
So I just looked at Ryan & said, "Ready?"
Before he could even answer, I took my flip flops off & took off running towards Mission: SPACE.
I might as well have been swimming.
The puddles came up past my ankles, it was absolutely insane.

S O A K E D .

We rode Mission: SPACE the Orange side.
I ended up getting really nauseous & felt that way the rest of the day.
Ugh. No more space for me please.

We had been on the hunt for ponchos for a while but couldn't find them anywhere!
In the store at Mission: SPACE we finally found some ridiculously expensive ponchos, but we needed them. The rain had still not let up.

Since I was feeling sick we decided to take a walk around the world.
However when we got to Norway, I just couldn't pass up my favorite ride!

MAELSTROM!

We opted out of the inspirational movie, but just this once!

At this time, we realized it was time for our ADR!
We headed on over to another country, but which one?

Before we got there though, I had to take a picture with the Snow White topiary!

Poncho. Haha.

OH.MY.GOD.
So this isn't an update going with this trip report, but it is absolutely necessary.
I WON A FREE CRUISE & VACATION ON A RADIO CONTEST TODAY!

I wish it was a Disney cruise, but that's okay!
I get a 3 day 2 night cruise to the Bahamas!
Before the trip, I also get a 3 day 2 night stay in Fort Lauderdale.

If that wasn't already perfect enough, here is where the magic comes in..

Now, I could stay in the Bahamas for 3 days & then cruise on back to Florida... OR.
Once the cruise arrives in the Bahamas, I get to spend a day on the main island, & then leave the next day with the ship & go back to Florida,
& since I wouldn't spend the 3 days in the Bahamas, I get to spend the 3 days 2 nights in.....

ORLANDO!!!!!!!

In the Marriott hotel, not on Disney property, but PRETTY MUCH RIGHT THERE.

OF COURSE I AM GOING WITH THE SECOND OPTION.
DISNEY!? HELLO!?

& all my meals are taken care of, I am literally paying for nothing except the Disney park tickets (worth it) & my souvenirs.

The total vacation is upwards around 3600$ & I'm only paying 50$ for the port fee.. WHICH I MEAN C'MON.
50$ for a 3600$ vacation?
Of course I'll do that.

I still can't even believe it.
The date isn't set yet, but I just wanted to let everyone know.
I am so excited & blessed.
I can't stop crying.

Of course I can't wait for the cruise, but an extra few days in Disney this year?! HECK YES!


BTW 54 DAYS TIL MY DISNEY TRIP!
CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT AT ALL.

Okay, enough with the shouty capitals.

Our ADR was for 6:30 at...

Gotta love this place.

Ryan was excited clearly...

We checked in around 6:20 & were seating in about 10 minutes, so basically right on time!

We were all the way to the far left of the restaurant,
I absolutely loved our table because we were next to windows & every time a character would be going to meet they would walk by our window on the way to their designated spot.
We saw Belle, the Beast, Marie, & one more that I can't remember right now.
They all waved to me when I freaked out at them walking by, especially Belle<3
That just added a little bit of extra magic.
Oh Disney<3 The little things.

We took a few questionable pictures at the table..

I think I was dancing a little..

So proper!

Then our waitress came, her name was Emily.
She was EXCEPTIONAL.
In our video, we actually give her a shoutout because she was so incredible.
She was efficient & always kept our drinks filled & took our picture & joked with us.
Service receives a 5/5, just because she was so perfect.

But anyways, she took our orders & our food came out in no time at all.
I don't remember what the exact name of my dish was, but here is a picture.

What I do remember is that the broccoli & potatoes were PERFECT.
The broccoli was so fresh & delicious, NOM.
Sadly, I didn't get a picture of Ryan's dish, but he got some steak thing.
IT WAS PERFECT
I think I stole about 7 bites of the steak, so juicy & tender & OMG.

Then we asked Emily to take our picture & she goes,
"No." & walked away.
I just kind of sat there for a second confused.
& then she turned around laughing hysterically & said, "Of course!"
What a doll.

She said, "Say 'Mickey!'"

Then we got Espressos.
YUM YUM YUM.

You should know one thing about me,
I LOVE COFFEE!
Like completely.
Can't live without it.
Any type of coffee.
Give it here.
Mine.
NOM.
YUM.

YUM.

After we finished our incredible espressos it was time for...
the dessert that changed my life.

The Chocolate Mousse..
I have dreams of this mousse.
I've never in my life had anything better than this mousse.
If you go to Les Chefs de France,
GET THE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE!


Ryan got the Crème brûlée, & he raved about it.
SO GOOD.
I was too excited by my mousse to take a picture of Ryan's dessert.
I apologize.

Then Emily brought out our check....

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD.

My jaw just hit the ground.
But it was so completely worth it.
& Emily completely deserved her tip.

We paid, thanked Emily again & made sure to tell her she was the best waitress we've had, & she told us that we made her whole night.

Overall Rating of Les Chefs de France
Service: Incredible, Emily was perfect! 5/5
Food: THE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE itself get's a 100/100, but everything else including Ryan's entree receives a 4.5/5, my chicken skin was a little burnt, but everything else was great.
Atmosphere: I loved where we were seated, it was almost separate from the main area, & the window with the characters walking by was just a little extra touch to make it perfect. 5/5
