Adorable Doc dress! Very smart using the bribery tactics! Little Miss was at such a perfect age for all the sweet character interactions.

I'm not a big fan of H & V either. The characters are great, but the food leaves something to be desired.

I'll go with the popular guess here and say Toy Story Mania and you meet Buzz, Woody and the green army men.

Wow that was an early morning ADR! I'd love to experience such an empty park one day...I just have to haul myself out of bed that early!
Little Miss's Doc McStuffins dress is really cute! I'm glad you conned her into changing outfits. :lmao:

She'll look back one day and say, wow mom, I'm so glad I met Doc McStuffins in my matching outfit! :rotfl:

What was the food like at breakfast? Was there anything that H and V had at breakfast that was unique? Like how Crystal Palace has that puffy french toast? I only ate at H and V once on this trip and it was for the Jedi Mickey, so it's a little different from their every day buffet. I definitely think DHS needs to have more breakfast options because nothing really compels me to get to that park early enough to eat.

I want to say you went to the Animation Courtyard and met...Baymax, Minnie, and Mickey?

Love Little Miss's Doc outfit. Did you make that??? My daughter would love it. She was doc for Halloween 2 years ago and is still stuffing herself into the costume to give us all check-ups

I'm with ya on Hollywood and Vine being overpriced and not that good. We did it for Doc twice, but thankfully now she is meeting outside the restaurant so we can pass in the future.

Nothing really special. I remember the grits being good, but I didn't try them at any other breakfast because I really wasn't supposed to be eating them yet due to my oral surgery pre trip. I just forgot and didn't remember till after eating a bowl and a half.

Nope found it at Costco last year with the other halloween costumes. It was a favorite of the ones that I grabbed.

Same here. Not much appeal to be back now unless the place gets revamped in the rumored upheaval.

I actually enjoyed this character breakfast over the one we had at Tusker House. While the characters at TH were great, I thought the food was not good at all. I found more of a normal selection at H&V and would definitely go again. I guess it's really hit or miss with most of these places.

I'd agree with that. Although I'm not sure there are any character meals that are a value. You're really paying for a chance to meet the characters without standing in line. It is fun, the kids love it, so I guess it worth it for that.

I'm pretty sure some are better than others. But I don't think you would ever go to any just for the food.

I don't know our Dinner at 1900 Park Fare came pretty close. Pretty good food and GREAT character interaction.

I am impressed you were there so early! So glad you you got Little Miss in her doc dress! I can totally related to that! We have certainly been there. I liked the interaction at Hollywood and Vine even though the food was so/so, we found the interaction to be well worth it. Although I can understand your feelings. Those character meal price tags can be kind of hard to swallow!

Little Miss just didn't enjoy the interactions at H&V enough for me to justify the cost.
