Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Well the 10 Deluxe rooms at the BWI all overlook the Boardwalk and Crescent lake. 5 are on the 3rd floor and 5 are on the 4th floor and all include CL service if and when it returns.

I would vote to switch to BWI and Luna Park pool and the great water slide the Keister Coaster.

i have a water view room for yc in june and was wondering if anyone knows for the two queen beds if they offer non accessibility rooms that offer shower only in the bathroom, not tub/shower combo

Can someone explain how pool use works? Do we get a band when we check in to let them know we're resort guests. We leave in 25 days and it's our first trip to Disney as adults.

Each day, when you first arrive to the pool whether it’s in the morning or afternoon you will check in and they will give you a wristband. It is good for that day. You’ll do the same for each day after that that you want to go to the pool. This will be done at the pool itself and not when you check in at the front desk.

Thank you!

Last newbie question. Our flight lands at 10am. I'm guessing we'll be at the hotel between 11am-noon. Even if we can't check in, would we be able to use the pool during that time? Thank you!

Yes you can use all the amenities at the BC/YC day of check in regardless if your room is ready or not. Use can also use all the amenities day of checkout until midnight. Have a blast. It’s my favorite resort at Disney. I wish this pandemic was over so that you could enjoy everything it has to offer. At least Cape May and I think Hurricane Hanna will be open. Make sure you get an ice cream at Beaches and Cream.

Technically you should have already completed "Online Check-in". If you are on DME from the Airport you may even get your room assignment while on the bus. Depending on the day of the week traffic you might not make the hotel until closer to 1 PM.

You can always stop by the desk and ask if there are any room available "now" or you can wait for your assigned room if you have and preferences noted on your reservation.

Yes you have full use of the pools so you might want to have your swimwear separated from your luggage and leave your luggage with Bell Services if your room is not ready.

Walked past Cape May again today and they are doing training. 3large groups are at the table. Speaking if training- This is all i see lately the last week. Disney must have done a huge hiring thing. You see them walking around the resorts being shown where everything is at. Their own resort tour. And at MK yesterday they were training cashiers

I found out some information about Cape May. There is a plan for Cape May to open on May 18th. The food will be served family style when it reopens.

We can see that they have added plexiglass panels between the booths in the restaurant.
Thank you so much, I booked Cape May Cafe after seeing your post. It’s hubby’s favorite and I was checking for possible resv up until 2 weeks ago and gave up hope that it would be opening!

I couldn’t find any pictures of this in my googling, so I wanted to post.
Today my daughter did the Beach in a Bowl craft in the solarium.
$15 each. They pack it up for travel after you are done. I thought it was so cute. Wednesday from 12:30-2:30 on the current activity schedule.

The Solarium is a room which is across the hall from the Beach Club Marketplace. It starts off with a long narrow area where there are tables and chairs, and then there is a large room with couches and chairs and a TV. Pre-COVID, people would hang out there while waiting for a ride, or eat food there from the Beach Club Marketplace. (There are no tables and chairs inside the Marketplace.) Sometimes there are activities in there. Sometimes there is a coffee bar in there. I haven't been since the Pandemic started, so I don't know what's going on in there now.

Somebody else probably can describe it better (or post a photo).

Are there any bounce back offers in the rooms at the minute?

Pre-COVID, the printed information about the bounce back offers was not always in the rooms when it should have been. On one trip I went down to the front desk and asked, and was told (incorrectly) that this meant there were no bounceback offers. It actually meant that the prior guest had taken the brochure home or thrown it out, and housekeeping didn't notice and put out a new one.

Pre-COVID, you could call the Bounceback phone numbers while at Disney (or within a certain number of hours after you checked out) to book even if there was no brochure in your room. I have the numbers saved in my phone, but I haven't used them in a long time. I don't know if they work these days. The phone numbers I have are:
407-939-1923
407-939-7607

Hi all, since someone mentioned bounce back....Does anyone know (assuming we are able to book bounce backs) if it has to be the same people in your returning reservation? I'm going with my husband this June but want to book a trip for my mom and I next year. Am I able to book with a bounce back offer with different people?
