HOW MUCH IS YOUR 2017 DISNEY VACATION GOING TO COST

We foot the bill for them....

We're really excited! We usually get 2-3 trips down there per year, so this is a busy year, even for us.

Can I be adopted? I am sure it gives you great joy to be able to take family with you to Disney. We have tried a couple of years to take my niece with us but her schedule didn't work out.

When my son was younger we would go up to 4 times a year. I would take him out of school for a week in the fall. But when we took him out of school in 4th grade we realised that the work load was getting too heavy. Add to that the airfare started to climb. About 4 years ago we opted for longer stays over more visits. We now do 3 weeks in the summer. Well 2 weeks with me and the kid. Hubby joins us for a week. I miss going different times of the year but I really do like the longer trip. We get so much done with lots of rest time. I'm excited that this year we can go mid May. The kid is in his first year of college.

Have many fantastic trips. :)

3 adults (me,husband and daughter 19)

This trip is four our 25th anniversary.

It's like I'm looking in a mirror. It's our 25th anniversary too. We are going with our only child a 19 year old son.

We arrive right after your dates. Well my son and I do. We do 3 week trips. Me and my son for 2 weeks and then hubby joins the last week. We normally do the Pop the whole trip but decided to splurge and do the last week at the board walk.

Anyway, happy anniversary and have a fantastic time.

Flights - $1700 Cdn (approx. $1300 USD)
Off site Hotel for 4 nights (2 paid for by Air Miles) - $536 Cdn (approx. $400 USD)
Car Rental - $264 Cdn (approx. $200 USD)
4-day park tickets for 3 people - $746 (USD)
1 night at AKL - $326 (USD)
1 night camping at FW - $115 (USD)

= approx. $3000 for 5 nights/4 days, mixed off and on-site.

To you as well! We honeymooned at Disney, so this trip only seems fitting!

I love taking our family! We are lucky and get to go a lot, and it's nice to be able to spread the joy a bit. I took my 15-year-old niece last summer for her first trip, and the smiles on her face were totally worth it!

My daughter starts kindergarten in the fall, so this is probably the last year we have before we have to start taking her out of school. I don't wanna do that, so we are just going to go nuts this year, and then just limit ourselves to summers from here on out.

That is awesome! It's great you can do this! We are taking our 14 year old niece with us in April and she is so excited! It makes me even more excited because she is so over the moon about going :D

Feb 2017 (planned at the last minute!)
2 adults, 2 children (8 & 5, with one more on the way)
5 Nights/6 Days at POR FQ
QDP
Total was $5,160, not sure of the breakdown.

We ordered everything off of the MDE site. Probably naive of me, but it's my first time booking a WDW trip and we have a limited window. And this will probably be our last WDW trip for a few years with a new baby due in August.

5 nights 3 park days 1 adult 1 7 year old.

Hotel@ 550- shades of green
Park tickets 460- 5 day park hopper military salute.
Driving down so parking gas @100
Total @1100

Isn't it so fun booking a portion of the trip with some kind of reward points?

Our last trip in June 2016 we had enough points for free flights. But it's such a bummer the next trip when you have to start building up points again.

Have a great trip!

Thanks so much. It's my son's first trip. We took my daughter there on points (basically the same trip) about 4 years ago.

Scary part is how much we have spent to get these points. Luckily we had a large amount built up before we had our kids.

3,798 for 3 people, 8 nights, 7 day park hopper and 1 table, 1 quick service meal plan at POR. (I got the bounce back offer for free dining) that's for late August.
Flight not included, so that's 900 or less.

August 2017 - booked this as a bounceback when we were there in September
2 adults and 3 "Disney adults" (12,12,12 - no I don't have triplets, kiddo is bringing 2 friends!)
9 nights Yacht Club garden view
7 days tickets with park hopper
regular dining plan (free)
Memory Maker
$6745

additional expenses expected:
tips/meals not included on plan/alcohol - $1000
flights - $800-900, using some SW points

Works out to about $191 pp/day - not bad for Deluxe!

We took my niece twice, when she was 12 and 14. It was fun watching her lose the tween inhibitions and just have fun. She even purposely brought shirts with hometown info on them (like her school name or our local football team) so she could meet strangers that recognized the places.

Thanks, but I know what I'm doing. Why are you criticizing everyone else's plans anyway?
I was just trying to help. Clearly you are sensitive about it, so I apologize. I shared the pin info because I never knew you could get them cheap on ebay until a fellow dis'er mentioned it- I was super grateful! And I didn't know if you were seasoned, and unless you are pinching pennies or making your own food or only eat a meal and a half a day, 25$ pp/a day wouldnt be enough. Clearly you have done it, just trying to help if not... don't be defensive, some people are just trying to help, and you can't read tones via type. :)

I thought you were trying to help. I couldn't figure out why they bought 1 day tickets and then 6 day tickets. It would be cheaper to upgrade your one day tickets to 7 or just buy 7 day tickets. I guess they have a reason or they just don't know. I'm not sure how you could eat at WDW for 30.00 per person. I'm budgeting 150.00 a day for me and my son. We like to eat TS for dinner and I know I'll have a few adult beverages. I think 30.00 per day would cover 2 adult beverages per day. WDW food and drinks are not cheap.

Round trip airfare from California -$1075 (all but $725 was gift cards)
9 Day PH w/Water Park $1500
Split stay- 7 days French Quarter/5 days Boardwalk $3900
So, not including food and our side trips to Universal and Kennedy Space Center the total is:
$6,125

2 Adults
8 Nights at POR Standard View: $1533
(2) 7 Day Park Hoppers: $782.92 (Parksavers deal 7 days for the price of 4)
Upgrading tickets for an 8th day: $20
Halloween Party Tickets: $200
Airfare: Free with points earned on Chase Sapphire Reserve Card
Dining: $1200
Souvenirs: $300

Total: $4,035.92

Slight chance we upgrade to APs....or upgrade our room, but only if the price difference is <$300

Hubby and I are going August 28-Sept. 5

8 nights at the Grand Floridian Garden View with 7 day base tickets plus bonus 1 day waterpark $2,997.00
Food approx. $1,000
Plane from NY approx. $500
Total approx. $4,500 Not too bad for the Grand Floridian for 8 nights!
I've almost $500 credit on my Disney Visa too!

How did you get the Grand Floridian w/tickets for that price?

Those $15 mojitos are sooooooooo worth it though! haha

So true maybe I should budget 200.00 per day. On our previous trips all 4 of us went and I budgeted 300.00 per day. We ate at a lot of signatures though. We still never averaged that much. I think it's much better to over budget than under budget. I remember one trip when we got home went to our car and my dh asked me for the key. I was said no you have at. Long story short we had to rent a car and have are car towed to the dealership to get a new key. Coming back from Europe last year our flight was delayed, barely had enough time to make connection and then my son started vomiting in security line. Long story short we spent the night in New York 300+ plus per night. It seems like every vacation some unexpected expense comes up. I always tell people whatever you think your going to spend add another 500+ ...just in case.
