Highway in the Sky Dine Around with Wishes viewing area

Also for the people complaining about them taking away the 4th floor observation deck for this, it's only 2 days of the week. You still got 5 days of the week you can potentially view the fireworks from that spot at.

They're definitely in the "sweet spot" on the deck. Going off of limited memories, I believe that the back half would have only obstructed views.

ETA, I suppose the exterior stairway would still be an option.

3 days a week. And I wonder if since sold out, they would add other nights? Or maybe a reverse on other nights with views from GF?

First of all - thank you SO much Hopperfan for sharing Wade's pictures, and Wade for sharing them to Instagram. (I don't 'do' Instagram so I appreciate your efforts Hopperfan.) Secondly, I'm even more excited about doing this now! Woo hoo!

He hasn't posted any more pics.
Hopefully we'll get some reviews after tonight or tomorrow night with more pics.

Using what he posted and pulling menus ....

What time did the event end? Was Disney MK transit still running back to the resorts or do we need to get buses to DS and transfer to our resort.

I am sure it was over shortly after fireworks so it would be a breeze to walk over to the buses at MK then head back to your resort.

This is the kind of thing if they changed up the menu, say seasonally, I would repeat it.
Me too! Really hoping they extend it! Prepared for the price to go up but interested to see how much...do we know if they got to keep the tiki glasses? Probably not, but I do love a tiki glass...

We've stayed at the CR a few times. And wow I'd be so mad if I was staying there and couldn't have access to the good part of the deck. The view is meh from the deck in general but the far left hand corner facing the MK is way better than the rest of it.

I haven't stayed there since the 70's so obviously a different time, but is that the only public space guests can view the fireworks from? I agree that would be pretty lousy...

I get serving it in the mug cause it's fun. I've only bought the drinks to keep the cup (they really give you a new one) so I don't know if you aren't keeping it, do they still serve it in the mug.

They do serve them in the souvenir mugs, even if you aren't buying the mug.

Man, this looks so awesome. I am glad that they aren't doing it between xmas and NYE, because I would be kicking myself for not doing this. I hope they are doing when we get a chance, probably won't be until November for my bday. That would make a great bday present for myself though:rolleyes1
