Was on right at 4:05 and started grabbing the water view room available at CSR at the time (preferred the standard view but already listed as sold), kept getting processing errors, after about 15 minutes researched the room and it was still there but still couldn't process, now they are listed as sold out, tried for about an hour and a half constantly.

Will phone at 7am and hope some kind supervisor wishes to make it right.... can't imagine they wouldn't. Fustrating as all heck though, first time trying to avoid the call waits and it didn't work so well.

As everyone can see, looks scaled back in terms of availability. Not sure if I have ever seen POP not available for our dates before.

Mine either- 11/18-11/26. Started at 3:15 Central time. Had to book on 11/17 just to get Music. Can I go back now and modify check-in date to 11/18?

Thanks to all the support and guidance of everyone here i managed to get the FD. It is our first family vacation. First trip to wdw...and my daughter has no idea we are going so this is going to be extra special. ..

Also. I had an existing resie and was able to modify with no problems i had made this resie prior the ticket price hike. And i ended up saving $. It was fast and simple and was able to keep my initial resort choice... i was surprised how easy it was.

Just checked and there is nothing left for our dates except the royal rooms. The huge price increase from standard doesn't make it a deal for us.

I don't think it's a big secret that Disney is phasing out FD slowly. Making it less and less of a deal is one way to accomplish that. That said, they might do like last year and release some standard rooms in a few days.

I got 2 standard rooms at CSR and 1 perfered room for the same dates. I am so happy. Thank you to everyone who kept me amused and informed during this crazy free dining ride. Sending pixie dust to everyone who is needing it

Got Royal Rooms at POR. Really wanted a standard room at CSR or CBR

What dates? I was able to snag standard at CSR for Dec.​

Took me an hour to find the right combination of dates, but I was finally able to modify and we got it! Ended up losing a day but I think that will make our 18hr drive a little more bearable anyway. Sept 17-25 POR Alligator Bayou- SO EXCITED!!

Whelp.

That was disappointing. All I could manage was a RO discount for BC for the 2nd half of our split. Literally no FD options for our dates 9/25-30 in anything besides deluxes except pirate rooms. Not exactly what I picture for our honeymoon. Praying something comes available eventually.

HELP - will change our dates and can get what I want, but it won't let me change from the 6 day tickets it suggests to 4 day tickets I want. Should I just book and then call to modify?

it was like that last year and something happened like a week later where there were more rooms. Hopefully that happens this year.

I fell asleep at close to 1, back up at 140, back up at 230, then set my alarm for 430 EST. I got exactly what I wanted (probably because I had to travel in December which seemed to be the least popular along with August). Surprising the kids with CBR as they've only experienced Values in the past and, let's face it, they're growing up.

Your advice has saved me quite literally thousand of dollars and I remain grateful.

I'll check in with you all and truly hope you get close to what you want. If you dont, keep checking as people will change and release stuff they just booked.

I've neglected my family for a long time stalking this board but I thank you all for the company and the love!

Black and Steve-thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Thanks to your knowledge, I was able to have it all figured out well in advance so I wasn't caught off guard when it finally dropped.

I was able to get exactly what I wanted:CBR 11/26-12/3 standard room. No problems at all.

I can't wait to wake my kids up and tell them!

I noticed the boards were down when it went live and my messenger woke me. So I published the blogs and published the Facebook posts, hoping anyone prowling around would spot them since everything was down here.
