Can not get what I want and going during one of the slowest weeks of September. Cheapest thing available is a family suite at AoA. So wanted POR or CBR. Do you think if I call at 7am a CM might be able to get me what I want?

Only if there are rooms available for the promotion at that time.

So this year you had to purchase a 5night/6day package to get the deal....wasn't it last year you had to do a minimum of 2(or3) nights?

No, I was able to do a 4 night package with free DDP. I think there's a discrepancy!!!

Thanks Black and Dirty Steve! Quick Q though, only availability for BC for my dates was a lagoon/pool view, how is this possible?!?! Was up at 430! Lol grabbed it of course! But really?!? Even if I could afford club level that wasn't an option

When we said limited availability, we weren't kidding this time. Wow, so many things hard to get already.

Good chance that the upgraded rooms are the only thing available under the FD promotion, and they'll tell you the same thing. If you really want FD, I'd book the upgrade now, and if they release standard rooms later, then you can change.

Just checked and there is nothing left for our dates except the royal rooms. The huge price increase from standard doesn't make it a deal for us.

Well I got free dining. Now I have to figure out if it is worth it. With having to add fp and a room upgrade, it's costing an additional $800. We definitely would not eat at all the restaurants we have chosen if we didn't have fd, but even still, I'm thinking it might be close for five "adults " for ten days. I guess I'll keep checking back, hoping my room category becomes available.

I should clarify I got King bed room type for CBR which we prefer ( just DW and I) but the savings is tempting. Just due to the type of trip we want - it's been a long two years of ups and downs I think CBR might be more relaxing.
At least we have time to change if it's available , but we have our first resort choice.

Staying at our 3rd choice the Wilderness Lodge. Really wanted CBR or POR but since only more $$$ rooms were available I figured for "only" $250 more we can stay at WL. Never been there before but I'm excited even though they've got a lot of construction going on people on trip advisor don't seem to be complaining! Still going to keep my eye out for more rooms at the moderates. Hope everyone got what they wanted!

Wilderness for only $250 more than CBR or POR? Wow that's awesome! I was looking Wilderness in Dec. and it was $2,000 more than CBR or CSR. Do they jack up WL prices in Dec. that much or did I miss something?

I honestly just think there is super limited availability right now. Back when the rumors were starting, a TA did say that a lot of people were going to be disappointed due to lack of availability. But I honestly think more rooms are going to open up in a few weeks, so keep checking back!
