Well, that could have gone better. LOL No no no available rooms at any value, but sports(no thank you), for our dates. I ended up moving our arrival date from the 28 of Sep to the 13, and still could only get POP. Eek. I'm thinking, as things settle down, more will come available.

Had to book a pirate room as it was the only thing available for mods in my dates... Debating just booking AsSports and upgrading dining... It would save about $1000... But I'm really nervous about the All-Stars...

I've never had a problem with the All Stars. My biggest complaint with them, and it isn't even a real issue, is that I find the food court menus pretty boring.

I got FD!!! I'm so happy! I had to go to a POR - Pool which was 4th on my list of preferences, but I was happy to get it Not much availability at the MODS at all. A couple of friends of mine haven't been able to snag anything for their dates around mine (mid-Sept) . I had to pay an extra $450 over the standard room rate, but it's well, well worth it for 9 nights of FD!!! Also very glad I have all my ADR ducks in a row

I have to wait until 7am to call. I am able to modify my reservation to add free dining, but the site is requiring me to upgrade my room. Boo!

Good chance that the upgraded rooms are the only thing available under the FD promotion, and they'll tell you the same thing. If you really want FD, I'd book the upgrade now, and if they release standard rooms later, then you can change.

So this year you had to purchase a 5night/6day package to get the deal....wasn't it last year you had to do a minimum of 2(or3) nights?

Staying at our 3rd choice the Wilderness Lodge. Really wanted CBR or POR but since only more $$$ rooms were available I figured for "only" $250 more we can stay at WL. Never been there before but I'm excited even though they've got a lot of construction going on people on trip advisor don't seem to be complaining! Still going to keep my eye out for more rooms at the moderates. Hope everyone got what they wanted!

FYI...There's some discrepancy about the length of stay requirement. Special offer on website says for a 5 night / 6 day package. But I got it with a 4 night package. Which is s blessing for me! Still saving some $ since Unfortunately, I have to do a split stay due to my 11/13/16 checkin date. Thanks for everyone's helpful hints on this thread, especially the continued need to do multiple refreshing of MDE screen to get the change my reservation button back.

I'm kind of debating stuff myself. Currently booked at CBR 11/28- 12/8 w/ FD but if I switch to POP from 11/27 - 12/8 and upgrade to DDP - saves about $660 and gives us an extra day. But I'm not sure I want to risk it but have heard good things about POP too..

I love Pop. If it were between a pirate room and CBR and staying at Pop I wouldn't even hesitate to book Pop.

I think they happened to me last year? I would call, maybe not today bc it will be crazy, maybe tomorrow and see. They would have to honor it right?

Thanks again Black and Dirty Steve! You helped me get free dining in 2014 and again this year. Got exactly what I wanted 3 standard rooms at POP with upgraded dining.

Now I REALLY need to try to get some sleep....

I was able to modify my reservation online. I did have to upgrade from standard to water view at CBR in mid September. I would rather keep my standard so I'll check later to see if they release any standard rooms for the promotion. Does this mean the mid September crowds are gonna be crrrrrazy??? There was nothing at all available at POR when I checked (4:30) for a family of 5. That was my second choice. The only other value or moderate choices I was given were a suite at all star music or art of animation.

To add on the dining, including the room upgrade and adding park hoppers, which I hadn't previously included, my package increased I. Price $400. Not exactly free, but I also couldn't feed a family of 5 for less than that for six nights at Disney, so it is a savings. I hope I did the right thing!

Thanks Black and Dirty Steve! Quick Q though, only availability for BC for my dates was a lagoon/pool view, how is this possible?!?! Was up at 430! Lol grabbed it of course! But really?!? Even if I could afford club level that wasn't an option

This is what I did. I couldn't justify paying that much more for the 2 doubles.

My issue isn't the bed size. I'm fine with a double if I need to be.. But we have 4 adults in our room and idk how well that would fare in an 260 sq ft room at AsSports.

Got just what I was wanting -- two standard rooms at All Star Sports! They're two separate reservations right now and the booking system has completely messed up which people are in which room so I think I will need to call in a day or so if I can't fix this online. Is this likely to cause a real problem?

As soon as I finished putting down my deposits, I started thinking maybe I should have gone AoA!

Only a King Bed room for $250 more was available at CBR for my original dates (11/28 - 12/6). So I took it. Then decided to switch dates to one day earlier, same length of stay, and my standard room was available. So I switched to that and went back to my original price.

I will keep trying to switch back to original dates.

That happened to me too. I was a little late, closer to 4:15 (darn DH!!!!), and I got all the way to checkout, and it kept bringing me back. I wanted BC, Standard view, December 10 thru 18. Then the laptop shut down!!!!!!! By the time I got on my IPad and started over, there was no SV left. I booke GV adn will call later to see if I can change. If not, I'm going to enjoy that view!!!!
