Wish I saw that 15% before I booked with the 10%, could have saved $60 at AKL. I called Orbitz to try and apply it, but I would have to cancel, wait 10 business days for a refund, and then rebook. I'd rather not deal with it and eat the $60. Oh well.

Would it make sense to switch the reservation to a TA to get a discount? I don't want to keep checking and waiting etc.

I have not heard back yet, but I will let you know if my TA can get us the discount. Hoping for the best! I don't want to keep having to call either.

nice. managed to get my mom a few extra nights at POFQ for the 4 nights before our FD stay at ASMu.

orbitz does not say whether the view is a pool one or not and my mom does not want to chance not getting a pool view.

anyone know what room category through orbitz gives pool view? for the 100 bucks, she will take a guarantee versus not knowing.

if it helps, discount worked for POFQ for Oct. 27-31.

Yes, I book my package back in January and I called today to apply my room discount.

I am hoping this is just a Disney screw up and our dates become available. I emailed my travel agent as well in case they have rooms blocked off. How can all the rooms be gone a couple hours after the discount is announced? Crazy! I would have spoken to them sooner had I been able to get through! Very frustrating. They did tell me to keep trying back in case of cancellations.

I'm staying at POP during 10/5-10/10. I called this morning at 7:00 am and I received the 15% discount. Only $48 but I'll use that towards our Halloween tickets.

I am bummed Wilderness Lodge pool is closed due to refurb during our trip. I can't see paying 350 a night and the featured pool is closed.

I called today and we switched from a package at AoA to a package at Caribbean Beach. We got 20% off at CB, so we ended up paying an additional $189 to upgrade from the LM room at AoA. I'm happy. I'd much rather stay at a moderate but it was out of reach at the regular rate, without free dining too.

Not sure what's up with this discount. I've checked two different weeks in October online and am finding very little availability. I'm seeing POP available during both weeks, but no All Stars the first week, and only Music available the other week. I don't want Music with the food court rehab going on.

For moderates I was surprised to see POR significantly cheaper than CBR one of those weeks.

I'm wondering if they haven't released all the discounts for this promotion yet. I've never seen one where I couldn't find availability at the All Stars first day it's released.

I didn't learn of this discount until I heard from my TA that there was nothing available at POR for our week. I got online to see if staying at a deluxe might be feasible with this new code, but there is hardly any availability anywhere for a family of 5. My only option would be to book two rooms at Pop or (for $85 a night more) a FW cabin.

I'm sticking with my POR ressie, but we won't be doing the Halloween party.

My TA just emailed to tell something opened up for POR RR with Pool View (we had standard previously booked) and so we got the upgraded view which I am over the moon about and saved $191.66 off our original ressie.

I can't believe I actually scored a discount at POFQ for my October trip. It saved me only $60 over my AAA discounted reservation but every dollar helps.

can someone please explain the room only aspect? I booked with park tickets, called and they said i am not eligible because of that. I have 10 days at Riverside booked with 8 day park hopper tickets. I would have had to book only a room and thus been able to get a discount, and then add the tickets after the discount applies? Can I have this changed? I had made a large portion (about 50% of the previous balance) already and would like to save any amount of money I can. Any Disney Expert advise would be greatly appreciated
