Oh what a horrible trip!!!! Now for something completely different-Final blast ......

I think that should be standard recovery protocol. The Grand Villa with Maid and room service. :thumbsup2

That would be awesome!

Hope you are feeling a bit stronger today. :flower3:

Feeling good today...at work right now but think I'm going to leave soon as the boss is at a seminar and I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs, which is exhausting! Tried to eat a sandwich from Jimmy John's today but it was a no go. :sad1:

Sorry the sandwich was a no go. I agree go home instead of trying to be vertical. Find something to eat. We don't want you withering away.

Maybe some popcorn? popcorn::

How great you got to do a pre-tour of GFV! (VGF?) :thumbsup2 Super job of sticking with it and getting in! :woohoo:

You got some wonderful pictures and the Grand Villa looks :worship: along with the whole resort, even with all the items that were apparently still on their punchlist........ :rotfl2:

I hope you give it another chance someday.

and after searching a little more turns out that the cartoon channel was in our room, it was just not programed, we had to type it in manually.

maybe some day we will give it a chance...will still eat at the 1900 park fare, but still might be a while to stay there...:)

here is a link to the update that has the unpleasant experience in it.

it just felt really wrong how he treated us...maybe not something to hold a grudge that long for, but we were on such a high from a great evening that it really just hurt how he acted toward candi and her asking just a simple question...and of course that he hurt the feelings of my pregnant wife at the time didnt sit well with me at all.

Dan, we ha a bad interaction with a "snooty" CM at the GF too. A big reason Mark won't stay there.

But again, I think the villas are absolutely stunning.

i knew i liked him for a reason, no one needs to treat us snooty in disney or anywhere and a good reason i would get along with him, we dont forget when others are mean to us.:thumbsup2

My pictures just don't do the space justice. One of those you just have to see to enjoy and appreciate. :goodvibes

WDW really need a better channel listing in the room. Sorry you had to be at the receiving end of a snooty CM. Uncalled for.

I guess I just avoid talking to a CM there. :) I am getting more comfortable there but still not really. The villas were gorgeous. Well done.

:thumbsup2 I think you both need a do-over and hopefully a much better result.

Since most of my trips after Disneyland during this past year included meeting up with some fellow DISers each with their own trip report, I am not going back to rehash a trip that has already been done.

What I will do though, if you all will indulge me, is working backwards through trips I will do a 1 post ( yes 1 post really ) of a highlights.

So working backwards, since GFV or is it VGF? was this past Oct. I will go back to May 2013

I stayed here ...

in this room- a studio.

Flower and Garden was going on - a picture of one some people missed way up high.

The area around the water.

I love how they do the train village in Germany too.

What's this you ask? Well, that is one of my dishes at O'hana. I talked to the chef and all in all I had a special salad brought out to me. I wasn't aware of that right at first but my cousin put the salad down and then looked at me and was like " No salad for you".
I had no idea the chicken has a marinade I couldn't have. This ws a great chef experience, and dinner was great.

Look who I ran into in EPCOT.

I got the ghosts.

I love this picture of the steps.

A couple of animal shots of the hundreds I probably took.

While sneaking a peek at the construction at AK for the new FOLK I found this.

A Few night time shot I felt were worth sharing.

Guess who I had breakfast ( and O'hana) with?

Food at Flower and Garden. It was a hit, hope they keep it even though F & G is hard for me to get to.

My favorite park goer picture. Love the princess hat.

A lovely night at my favorite beach.

Mainly because I get to see this.

My score on Buzz, still no idea what I hit.

Madame

Merchandise from F&G

It was a fun trip but a very busy time of year for me at work. Felt like I had to be crazy before during and after trying to keep up. Not very restful in the end.
Hope you enjoyed !!

You got some great shots, the fireworks pictures are amazing!!

Darn Pat - How did you get such a close up of the cheetahs. Very cool.

Your fireworks shots are outstanding! Did you have a tripod?

There are animal comfort zones at AK, too? Good to know!

Great pictures Pat. Thanks for posting!

The close up of the cheetahs is so great, I can barely see them when on Safari. Lots of great pictures Pat, I really enjoyed them.

Great pictures Pat. Thanks for posting!

I have an incredible zoom on my camera. 35X and up to 140X digital zoom.
The picture is a bit grainy and blurry but in a bouncy safari truck I got what I got. :lmao:
No tripod for the fireworks but I may have had the railing.

The only park I need to find the animal comfort areas are the ones that must be at DHS.

Great pics and highlights Pat!

Jill in CO

Thanks.

The safari and the gorillas is why I bought the camera I did. I have a great zoom. :goodvibes

Well if I had won the big mega millions jackpot I would have said sure... but I didn't so well we all lose on that one. :rotfl2:

No way do I have the time for full reports and well each trip had a theme and
I would like to share something from each trip so I figured I would condense to 1 post. I can handle that. :lmao:

Great pictures Pat! (Except for the creepy Boardwalk chair) :scared:

And some great DISmeets too. :thumbsup2

Thanks - Yes the creepy chair from the Boardwalk. I keep waiting to see them escape down the hall.

I had fun with my DISmeets. Never long enough and always welcome. :)

I'd say bumping this up for Marv to find but it's your thread:rotfl2:Besides his is soooo far buried I may not be able to find it !!!:rotfl2:

Well at least I finally read your last update !!! I am excited that they have Food at the F & G fest now !!! Carol and I can sample that for sure !!!

Nice pictures. So glad I got a chance to sit down and do some DISing this afternoon.

I have all of my odds and ends - Advil, Moleskin, Bandaids, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, etc. I am washing clothes today, and tomorrow I will start packing. See you next week!
