I love seeing those pictures of the resorts. I used to love sitting in the rocking chairs over on the YC side but it kind of irritates me that this is the area for designated smoking now.

Tomorrow I am at single digits until my trip!!! We took my son to red robin earlier this week and he was shrieking with excitement at the lights, colors, etc. I think he is going to LOVE Disney.

I have a quick question. Does anyone know if they still do the portrait sessions at the hotels with photo pass? We did it back in 2008 for our anniversary and we would like to do it when we stay at the yacht club in May. Thanks guys!!!

Back from our mini vacation at Fort Wilderness Cabins. We loved it. Cabin was super. Loved it so much we booked two nights in early February. And we want to take Jeanne and Lily there in the summer!!!

Back to the Beach Club ... only working Sunday this week. Have lots of doctor/dentist appointments next week.

Bet it really feels like you are in another World. We had it booked once and chickened out.

We will get over to see you on Sunday the 17th. We are at OKW for that portion of our trip (swapping to BC on the 20th) but do want to catch up with you before your excursion!

Wow, this thread is a wealth of information!!

We will be visiting the Yacht Club this March as I won a trip through a local radio station and we requested YC. We are DVC members but have never been to the Beach Club Villas. So needless to say we are so excited to be staying there and really hoping the weather cooperates so we can take advantage of that great pool.

One quick question, I've been looking at the quick options for breakfast in the area, is there anyplace you can get Mickey waffles?

Unfortunately, there are no quick service options in the EPCOT resort area where you can get Mickey waffles. This is a huge deficiency in my opinion.

You can get Mickey waffles at a couple of sit-down places- Cape May Character buffet, Captain's Grille a la carte or buffet and from room service- but that is a pricey option.

Does anyone know if Mickey waffles are available at either the Swan or Dolphin quick service places?

So excited, we got back Sunday from our stay at YC and just booked BC for next year! Oct 26 - Nov 2!

I'm sorry I been lurking trying to catch up. Not having any luck doing that. I did notice you added me to you bog list. Thank you for adding me. That said I had to cancel next years trip Just thought I would let you know that I am still around but you might want to remove me. I do love reading about BC hopeful I get to stay here in 2015.

I hope that you are able to plan a stay at the Beach Club sometime in the near future.

We just returned from our 11/1-11-5 stay. I booked a BB trip while I was there on 11/4. The only offers were RO discounts for Jan-Mar. and free dining Aug 20-end of Sept. We booked 8/20-27 with free dining. I would have preferred a RO discount, but we had planned to go in Aug. so we took the free dining.

Did you book the bounceback at the Yacht or Beach Club?

There is both room only discount and free dining discount for bounce back. Today is the last day at WDW and we are moving to Portofino at Universal. We just booked for next Aug 21-29. We had it priced both and DH likes dining plan since he likes the fact that there won't be a big credit card bill after the vacay. For us FD is the way to go now if we want DDP since DS just turned 10, Disney adult.
We had a great time at BC and will be returning to YC next summer for DS' graduation.

I've been lurking for a while, and want to formally join in. Headed back to Disney for the 15th time in April 5th-9th) but our first time staying at YC. We gave wanting to stay there for a while, and sat trip when we ate at Cape May fir the first time we knew next trip had to be there!

Already have our ADR's (DDP) but hoping for BOG fast pass+ for lunch and magic bands/FP+ !!!

The recent (not good changes) with the FP+ program at Swan/Dolphin (no booking ahead of time, kiosks in the park for the day of) have helped me make the decision that unless room rates there are next to nothing in January, its going to be BC for my family! After being able to customize my MB today and start picking some Epcot FP+'s (going a back door way since we're only at Day 70) has allowed Disney to put me right where they want me. On site. Even booked a Cape May breakfast. Yep, I think I'm hanging out with you fun people for a couple of months!

Actually, I took most of the pictures early in the morning or during the middle of the day; when there were hardly anybody around. The timing worked out great!

Beach Club Villa Studio Room Taken late Sept/early October.





I had a split stay at BCV. Both for a Studio room. The first was just a standard room for me and my family.

























...with standard bathroom facilities.

The second was with friends for the 2-bedroom lockoff. I didn't get a picture of their 1-bedroom facility. But this was the second room.






My friends needed a HA room. In case anyone is interested, these were the HA bathroom facilities in our studio room.











There was no bath in the HA studio room.
