DiveQuest Park Access

Last time we did DiveQuest guests were released into the park post dive but web posts appear to now state that you’re escorted back through backstage area to outside EPCOT. Last post I can find was from last year and might have been a policy tied to the park reservation system. Does anybody have any insight?

In the details (under show safety, accessibility and guest policies) it says theme park admission is not required or included so I think it certain you'll be escorted back to the start point outside the admission gates. Adding that was the case when we did the dolphin encounter in late 2022.

Report I saw on Reddit from a year ago was they had the ability scan tickets so if you had admission to EP you didn’t have to leave and re-enter the park.

My husband did divequest 6 months ago and had to leave the park after. He's done it 4 or 5 times over the last dozen years and was only allowed to stay in the park afterwards the first time. We have APs and they still said he had to leave with the group. They take you into the park via a side entrance with no scan so I presume they want you to re-enter after so there's a record of it, but that's just a guess.

Just was there 1 month ago,,,solo diver so much fun no one else signed up. I can confirm, they meet you outside at guest services, you enter behind that building. They then bring you back to the same spot. So you do not need a park pass to do the event, but you DO NOT get to go into the park after.
