Absolutely beautiful photos, PrincessInOz - thanks for sharing! I'm planning to stay at YC or BC at the same time next year - late Sept/early October. I just made a note to myself to get up early enough one day to watch the sunrise outside and to take photos. :goodvibes

Have they started to decorate for Christmas at the resorts yet? Changed to poinsettia's outside yet? Pictures please for anyone that is there!!

I'm sure the parks are decorated already!!! :cheer2::cheer2:

Can anyone who's there confirm if the BB has changed? When we left on 10/24 it was still the FD BB for next Aug but heard that it has changed to a room only discount that covers quite a few dates through end of next year...anyone confirm?

We just returned from our 11/1-11-5 stay. I booked a BB trip while I was there on 11/4. The only offers were RO discounts for Jan-Mar. and free dining Aug 20-end of Sept. We booked 8/20-27 with free dining. I would have preferred a RO discount, but we had planned to go in Aug. so we took the free dining.

I just left on Monday and the resorts were not decorated yet. The Osborne stuff was done and the MK was being decorated on Sunday around the castle. Halloween just came down on Sunday!

I can say at least the Castle has the lights up and they were on according to a family member CM, she saw them on as she drove home one night

I love seeing those pictures of the resorts. I used to love sitting in the rocking chairs over on the YC side but it kind of irritates me that this is the area for designated smoking now.

There is both room only discount and free dining discount for bounce back. Today is the last day at WDW and we are moving to Portofino at Universal. We just booked for next Aug 21-29. We had it priced both and DH likes dining plan since he likes the fact that there won't be a big credit card bill after the vacay. For us FD is the way to go now if we want DDP since DS just turned 10, Disney adult.
We had a great time at BC and will be returning to YC next summer for DS' graduation.

Only 4 more weeks, 28 days, until our family trip!!!! I am getting so excited. We are in California right now visiting with our daughter, Amy and her family. It is Jackson's 5th birthday next week. Love that my grandsons are excited for the trip too.

Our Magic Bands should arrive at home today, good think my son lives near us to go pick them up for me. Everything is falling into place for this wonderful celebratory trip. Love reading the posts from everyone. Have a great day!!!!

Kerry-So excited for you and your family for the 4 wk countdownpixiedust:
Thx so much for all of your help! Jackie and Anita said Hello and we tried the lobster rolls-Yum!!
I booked a trip to BC October 2014-Yay:cloud9:

We booked a one bedroom suite because it will be me, DH and DD-15
We loved having the bit of separation just to relax and everyone has a place to "chill" but already i'm wondering if the Deluxe would be better or perhaps a DVC rental or purchase-(head spinning):surfweb:

I booked BB and they were just taking out the BB Aug/Sept FD out and supposed to put in RO for dates different dates in 2014, but there were many blackout dates. I only got the dates for Oct. Nov. And Dec. (which December was Slim Pickin's!)

Getting excited to head back to BC, even though we loved BWI

Let me say that I hope I didn't make a hot mess of this multi-quote, i'm still a newbie!! LOL:thumbsup2

I just left the BC last night and was at the GF the afternoon before and nothing up yet.

TEENA-

It was great chatting with you on Sunday:goodvibes You got me thinking that I really need to find a a long weekend to see the Osbourne Lights before they leave and of course... the Candlelight Processional:thumbsup2 I have two weeks off at Christmas so I am trying to squeeze a few days somewhere:)

The Solarium Taken late Sept/early October.

Down that passageway, you'll find a room to the left.

This was my favourite place to have breakfast or coffee.

My favourite table was sunny; but not too sunny....if you know what I mean.

It was also far enough away from the main passage for it to be fairly quiet.

This room was a great sitting room when waiting for ME.

There were a number of chairs grouped together for families to enjoy a bit of privacy.

The television was a nice drawcard to keep the kids amused.

But during my stay, I didn't see many people in here! Like me, they were probably too busy enjoying the parks!

The Marketplace Taken late Sept/early October.

I love cooking. So I spent a lot of time looking at these items!

We mostly got breakfast here.

On our first day at the BC, some very kind person came up to us and offered us the refillable mug for free. Seems like they had a spare one and it was valid for the entire duration of our stay! DH accepted it; I was a little dubious. But the lady said they had used it once and if we wanted it, we could wash it out. Which is what we did. My DS13 was very happy with the pixie dust.

I didn't 'double dip'. Most mornings, I would purchase a cup of coffee with my meal.

The BC Villa Taken late Sept/early October.

We were staying at the Villa. These pictures were taken at various times during our stay.

The Lounge

The Drawing Room

Around the outside of the Villa

I have pictures of the villa studio rooms and SAB to go. Will post those in the next couple of days.

PrincessinOz- these photos are spectacular!!! Thanks so much for sharing them here!!!

I love all your pictures PrincessinOz. I am really homesick!!!:rotfl2:

I hope all had been well for everyone! I have not been able to check in that much this past week do to entertaining kids and DH working from home and monopolizing the computer...:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I love hearing all the TR and am so excited for those getting ready to travel!!:woohoo:

I too hate that this is now a smoking area :( Used to love sitting there!
