Thank you! I will be looking into this product line. As soon as I have my make up ducks lined up I'll list what I'm taking with me, so you guys please feel free to yay or nay anything that may/may not work in August.

My hair is normally pretty straight, but humidity brings out some curl. I tried to use my flat iron on the last trip, but gave up. I eventually just went with it & used Aussie Sprunch spray & mousse. I very rarely use a blow dryer because I don't have the patience, and the FL sun dries it quickly. Of course, I always bring my blow dryer & my Chi anyway!!

I never heard of Benefit Porfessional. Where do you get it? Just bought the peach parfait lip butter. Love the color.

Sephora has it and they will be happy to make you a generous sample of it before you drop $30.00 on it

I honestly like the Smashbox primers better. The trick it to tap it in to areas that have larger pores

I also bought the Peach Parfait Lip Butter and LOVE it! Just bought two new colors as well, Fig Jam and Berry Smoothie! I am officially obsessed! Going out again today to add some more to my collection!

Lash Blast is by FAR my favorite mascara

Yes, i have red blotches and big pores...ain't I lucky?! ). But maybe there is one I have missed that is a winner.

I'm a lucky girl as well! Haha! Dry/Combination Skin (Oily t-zone), active acne at the age of 25 as well as post acne marks. BOOOO!

I love Smashbox. My favorite primer is ther original photo finish. Sorry it doesn't work for you :/ But that is the great thing about Sephora is that you can try stuff first before you drop the big bucks on it

So yes, it's a bit much. But I live in a damp, hot weather so I am used to having to work around the weather for my make up. I had absolutely no trouble wearing all of this, and it stood on nicely, even on really long days when we were in the parks until very late. Not a single regret.

Of course, at the end of the day it is absolutely mandatory to wash your face properly and use a good make up remover so that none of the product stays on your face and damages it.

I don't wear a whole lot of makeup, so while reading this thread the other day, I kept seeing BB Cream mentioned. I had NO IDEA what the heck that was..haha. Well, I thought y'all would be proud to know that I bought some yesterday Maybe I'll start to love makeup because of y'all!

Try the raspberry. It's reddish but not shouting RED. I'm picking one up over the weekend.

SPF 50 sunscreen and over that a light dusting of Bare Minerals powder. (to de-shine)

A little eye shadow, usually slightly shimmery (with Primer). I like to bring my Sweet Libertine samples so I have plenty of color choices but have very little bulk in my packing!
I curl my eyelashes but forgo eyeliner and mascara because no matter what brand I get I am smeared way to quickly at parks etc.

If I have time to freshen before dinner (usually not) then I might add some lip-stain and a light touch of eyeliner.

I have really been loving the Laura Mercier primer in radiance and the LM tinted moisturizer. It wears really well in the parks and looks like my natural skin, only better!

So I'm actually a manager over at cvs & whoever mentioned "fig jam" just cost me money!!!!!!!! It is Awesome!!!!!! Honestly, I usually pay it no mind, but had to check it out with all the raves...love it! It's def going in my bag for next Sunday!!!! Now I have my: Fig Jam, Baby Lips (SPF 20), pinkish lip gloss, Rimmel Bronzer, Cover Girl Lash Blast and some blotting papers. That's it!!! Leaving foundation, eyeliner, eyeshadow at home!!!! Just need a nice, light fragrance!
