OCTOBER 30th & NOVEMBER 3rd Cruises (FE and Meets)

I'm logged into the DCL My Reservations page and it just keeps saying online check in available 8/16 and from everything I had read we should have been able to check in at 12ET which would be 11 central time for me. I guess I'll just wait another hour and see what happens, but hopefully it will work.

All our information is correct and it shows paid in full so not sure what is going on. Kind of a bummer.

If you were logged in before midnight, it registers the time you logged in. Found that out the maddening way in Dec last year!

I know that there are tons of complaints about Disney's website. It is kind of a running joke (though when you are trying to do something that could be time sensitive it isn't funny at all!). Hopefully you were able to get it all done.

From what I understand, you can complete your check-in at midnight Eastern, but your port check-in time is available at a later time overnight. I just waited until morning since I knew there were no brunch or high tea times at Palo.

Princesssleepy, if your ressies are linked I think you can do it. Otherwise you have to have each seperate cabin's info.

Still no cabanas!!! I really want one. It will make life so much easier to have a place to put the baby and toddler!! I'll just keep checking.

Finally got checked in this morning around 6:00AM central. I didn't log in until 11:05PM central time so I should have been able to check in. I was able to look at all the excursions and dining available at that time just couldn't check in. It all worked out fine as I was able to get the 11:00AM port arrival time which was the most important thing to me.

I finally got to the access page after 20 minutes on the phone with a CM this morning. I still don't see where to look at dining and activities though. Can someone steer me in the right direction?

Never mind. I figured it out once I got all the way checked in. Got my Port Arrival time. Yay! No available dining at Palo for 8 people (go figure). But that's ok. I was on the fence anyway. OMG, it feels so close now!

That's how I felt when it finally all went through. It just feels so much closer now. It's fun watching the Dream at port today on the webcam. It should be sailing in the next hour or so. Glad you were able to get signed in. Did you get the 11:00AM port arrival or were you even trying for that?

I did get the 11 am arrival time BUT...I am still waiting for information from the other 3 cabins in our party, so I may have to decide if we are all boarding together or if we have to go later, depending on what is available when they get me all their stuff.

Started working on my Fish Extender today. We found some great Disney Halloween fabric, so decided to make it a Halloween fish extender. I will post pictures when I get it done.

I have another question/suggestion for the FE list. Would it be possible to identify the gender of the kids? Some of the names are obvious and some could go either way. I have some FE gifts that would be more appropriate for one than the other and want to make sure I am giving appropriately.

I do not have a problem with that but, will leave it up to the parents. I can easily add a M/F next to the child's age.

Hi all!

All the kiddos in my party are boys.

Now that everyone in my party has checked in, this cruise is very real. The excitement is really kicking into high gear.

I've booked 2 excursions so far: Stingray Adventure on CC and Parasailing on CC. Any thoughts (positive or negative) on either of these excursions?

One member of my party (Patti) is concerned about packing FE gifts and not having enough room. Anyone else worried about space?

Our kiddo is a DD (F) Kayla, age 7. I don't mind posting. I usually do more gender specific goodies for the kids, so it does help me knowing.

Quite a few pages since I have been on. I know many of you are bummed about Palo brunch...me too, and we are platinum and checked in wayyyy back when. I hope we can get once on board, but if not, we will just enjoy everything else the Disney Dream has to offer.

We loved our RCI trip on Monarch of the Seas a few weeks ago...not Disney, but the food and service were equal...if not better in some situations. The kids programs were good, just not as flexible or quite as good as Disney. However, we did rebook on RCI for next year...much less for the same week on DCL :-(

15 days until DH and I leave for Disneyland...that half marathon is coming quickly!
