The first film I saw in cinema was either Lion King, Toy Story or Space Jam, according to my parents.

i stopped listening to the red sox game so i could listen to cheetah girls songs, teehee. :')

Scar was originally supposed to fight Simba and throw him off of a rock. Scar would laugh maniacally while he was unexpectedly engulfed in flames and burned to death. As it turns out, Scar pushing Simba off the rock saved his life. I like the version they used with the hyenas killling their "friend".

How are there so many females and so few males in Simba's pride?

Because of the story revolving around Nala. In the first Lion King, there were only three females: Nala, Sarabi and Shenzi. The rest were guys: Mufasa, Rafiki, Scar, Simba, Timon, Pumba, Zazu, Ed and Banzai.

That's how lion prides work. They're made up of one dominant male, and many females. There might be a couple of other males, but that doesn't matter. The dominant male is the one who mates with all the women, and there's a lot of incest in lion prides. In the movie, Simba and Nala are half siblings.

Yeah. I think it makes the whole deal more deep.

Would that mean that Nala was also hoisted over Pride Rock at birth? I have heard fan accounts that Scar may have been Nala's father.

I think Nala and Simba were born around the same time so Simba was already heir before Nala and King is above Queen. That's my guess.

I would of said no, only the males would be, but then I remembered Kiara... Maybe she was the first born child of Simba, so a reason to celebrate? Hmm... I also doubt Scar was Nala's father. He seemed to be a loner, living away from the other lions. Hmm...

Ah, our discussions

From Justin Bieber, to baseball, to baseball, to determining the father of fictional lion characters. ;)

But didn't Scar have no children, that's why he chose Kovu or something?

I have a feeling he did. There was a lot of inbetween time after Simba left the pride and Scar took over to when Simba came back. There also may have been time when before Simba was born. The story was just too focused on Simba.
