I really like the new choice in the bag too! I think your making the right choice, even if you have to wait on it awhile. The other thing about this one is that it's a 40th anniversary bag. Even though "any" of the Disney bags would be great to have, the anniversary edition is something that only comes along once.

i am so in love with the 40th anniversary bags. id love to have one of each style! but i know i will end up with the messenger. i already have that style in the dlr 55th bag but its awesome and im a wdw girl so ive gotta have it! i do love your lucy bag though, plus its a bit rare! tough decision!

Great choice! I love the 40th anniversary style. It's so nice. You're right! I think you will enjoy the darker colors more. I think you'll be happy with your decision!

Ahh! It's dooney madness!! So remember I posted those two Lucy bags the other day but neither of them were really great? So I held on to the better of the two and ordered a third to see if I would get a better one. In the meantime, I decided that I actually want the Kristen 40th anniversary tote...just made up my mind last night, in fact!

So what arrives in the mail today but the third Lucy. Might as well take a look at it...and what do you know......it's freaking perfect!!

I was so pissed! I was seriously cursing at it!! OF COURSE! After I decided against this bag, the most perfect Lucy arrives in the mail!

So after much inner turmoil, I decided that I'm going to keep it AND get the 40th anniversary tote too!! The Lucy is really a lot smaller than I'm used to and am afraid that all my "junk" won't fit but my mom said this can be my Spring/Summer bag, when I don't have to throw my gloves and scarf in the bag and the 40th can be my next winter bag!!

In case anyone is interested in some perspective for the Lucy, here is the bag on my shoulder.

Ew, my arm looks freakishly skinny in this picture, doesn't it? It must be the stripes on the sweater. I do have skinny arms but that just looks weird!

Yeah, it really is much smaller than I'm used to...small opening too which I don't love but I can manage!

Totally! I still can't get over how absolutely perfect the placement is on this bag. There was no way I couldn't keep it!

So those of you who have read my TRs before may remember that I wear nothing but Reefs all summer long...well on my feet at least! I even go so far as to have 'rain' Reefs to put on so not to ruin any new Reefs. On the last trip they came especially in handy since it rained practically every day. If it would start raining, I would literally move off to the side somewhere and change my flips!! They form to your feet and after a while, they loose "squishy-ness," especially if they get wet. Trust me...there is a method behind all of my madness. DH doesn't try to understand, he just accepts it!

So being that it is the worst winter we've had in a long time, I decided to shop for some new Reefs and was delighted to see a new color this year in the style that I like. (I only buy Lily or Sandy, btw.) They are dark gray and have yellow, pink and a little blue in them. So cute!!

Oh it felt soooooo good to put these on! I hate having to actually put on shoes and I wanted to cry when I slipped into these! Anyway, now that you all know that I'm certifiable, here's what they look like! Cute, right?

p.s. I think I might do my toes this color on my next trip! I think it looks good with Reefs. Usually, I do a french manicure but I think this will be cute! I always do clear on my fingernails because colors chip and look bad and I can't have that mid-trip! See...certifiable! These are all things that are part of my planning, that I obsess over in the weeks and days before leaving.

Yes! I have several too, and that was the most painful...either that, or it had just been so long since my last that I forgot how painful it was!

ive got a 20 + hour back piece and two leg sleeves. but ive always been curious about the foot .. that and i think your mickey tattoo is terrific! its got me thinking about a similar silhouette design but BIGGER

Ooooh, leg sleeves?! Crazy! Ya know, I actually thought about getting all the original future world symbols (like old-school epcot style, know what I mean?) straight down my back! My first three tattoos are of random things in random places that don't really mean anything except that I just wanted to get a tattoo. The 2nd and 3rd I literally walked into the parlor and just picked one out. STUPID! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Mickey one and am so glad it's on my foot!

I definitely talked about it before in the past but probably haven't mentioned it since my first TR! I sort of purposely used that foot for the pic of the Reefs to show the tat off again!

I absolutely love it! My sister and I got the same one together!
