I was telling my DH today, when you are having a bad day at work just think BC!

Lets see, My clothes dryer is dead and (for the first time ever) one of my fillings fell out!!! There's more but I don't want to say it....

My furnace died yesterday on the coldest day of the year and we had to buy a new one but I kept saying vacation in three months... Beach Club!!

Now, what about the Boardwalk? Can you walk to the Boardwalk from YC?

If the boat going to Epcot is at or just coming up to the dock and you can get on, go to the boat and it goes right to BW. Otherwise, turn left from the BC and go across the bridge or from YC go right and go across the bridge and in a few minutes you are there. A very easy walk.

Thanks! I am so excited to finally stay in the Epcot resort area. There's so much to do there betw Stormalong Bay, boardwalk, campfire/movie on the beach, all the restaurants, how do you spend any time at the parks?

So true! We get to the parks at rope drop and leave around lunchtime. We spend most afternoons at SAB and then head back to the parks after dinner.
Since we do a long summer trip we always plan one or two "resort days"!

Booked a week at the YC (Nov 11- 18). This will be our first time being there for the Food & Wine Festival- I like going in Dec because of the xmas decorations. I was told that some of the decorations will be up and I will get to see the Osborne Lights. Can't wait to try something new!!!!

I think most of the country has had ENOUGH SNOW and we are all ready to go to DISNEY!!!!!

Pixarmom- thanks for the lists! I'll post them to the front page.

How did you make out during the storms? School cancellations? We had an early release Tuesday, snow day Wednesday, they went to school on Thursday then had Friday off due to concerns about too much snow on the school rooftops.

I can't even imagine how excited you must be about your trip!

I have lost track of what I have requested for photos. The Sunken Treasure I remember! Oh, and the kids meal at Hurricane Hanna's if you have a chance. I thought of a couple more. If you find yourself near the kids playground (I've never seen it- I think it is near the YC side of SAB). Unless it will cause problems trying to drag your little guy away. I am also not thrilled with the photo of the Jib Slide I have on the front page, so I am looking for a picture of the slide in a portrait orientation.

Thanks, I"m totally bummed about this trip, I should be in the BC Lobby right now. However I will just plan plan plan for September. Now I'll just have to avoid hurricanes instead of snow.

Besides it's my birthday that month so the nice reservations lady said she'll get me a princess birthday button.

We will be staying @ BC for the first time 8/25 for 6 nights. I have never stayed at the Epcot/Boardwalk area. I'm sooooo excited but I need something to make the time go faster. I guess once this snowy winter ends that will help!!

I really enjoyed our Dis Meet last August. We're going in May this year to celebrate my oldest son's graduation from college and taking four of his friends (also graduating from college) with us.

We have some exciting things planned like a pirate (ECU pirates) themed Illuminations Dessert Party at UK Pubside and a Grand 1 dinner/dessert Wishes cruise. I think all the guys will have a blast so if anyone sees a middle aged woman walking around with a group of young hot looking men, no I'm not a pervert, just a proud Mom!
