SO glad to have become part of this thread. Love the Peepfest siggy. Tracy you and Bill are sooo cute. When is Bill's bday? Mine is June 21st.

In 2008 SWW was every weekend in June, this past year it was the last two weekends in May and the first two in June. Who knows when it will be in 2012. Bill will just be happy that the refurbed Star Tours will be done by then .

Tracy, you are so helpful. I TOTALLY forgot that Star Tours 2.0 will be open by then! the expanded Fantasyland should be as well.

Thanks for the welcome! I've been lurking for a long time, and just never took the plunge. Makes me wish that I did it sooner.

You're here now!

I don't have a specific end of trip tradition, but I prefer to end at the Magic Kingdom. Have to get my fill of the Haunted Mansion and Philharmagic before I leave. If I had a day to myself I think I would probably spend it at Epcot and at the Magic Kingdom. As for food.....probably Cosmic Rays or Columbia Harbour House.

Thank Tracy for the nifty design. I hope everyone can come along, but I really am only expecting 4-5 DIS families to come along. Hoping for 20, but we'll see.....Alot of my friends from church are turning 50 in 2012 so they're along for the ride too.

I started this bad boy out on or around May 31st. It's been a crazy summer! One filled with church drama, working too much, getting sick too much, being on the DIS too much....

What started out as a normal WDW trip has quickly become a trip with several DISer longtime friends coming on down!!!!

I've made stronger connections with my longtime DIS buddies and managed to make quite a few new ones along the way. While I turn first to my faith when in times of great sadness or stress, I often found myself relying on the folks here for a listening ear-so to speak.
It's been an honor to be a small part of your journey, and it's great making new friends. You have some pretty great friends here...I love seeing how you, Cherie and Rose are such a hoot together! You've done a great job on your PTR Jordie, and I love the dynamic of having Wendy be apart of things here too.

Thanks to all of you for your continued support and friendship. I hope you'll continue to follow along as I go to Volume II!!!!!Of course I will!

Since I am in the reflective mood, I am thinking about that last full day at WDW that I will have on Wednesday, Feb 17th. I know people always discuss first day activities and traditions, but I don't see many people talk about end of the trip traditions. What are your end of trip traditions?
I can't really say since I've only been to WDW twice, DL many times, but I can't think of a better way to end the trip than being at MK. My next trip (in May 2010) We will start our trip at MK and end our trip at MK.

I think farting was one of God's most creative and humorous stunts! What a funny way to get some kicks and giggles! Farting. Well, at least it is for those of us who've never gotten over our junior high humor mode.

This topic comes up a lot in our house, I have a family who thinks it's something that needs to be discussed at any given moment. Much to my dismay of course. This brings me to the lastest conversation......I pick up my daughter this evening from Ballet class, and as she get's into the van all beautiful with her leotard and tights on, hair up and a great glow going on (girls glow, not sweat). After a quick hello she proceeds to tell me that she had been letting them rip all through out the class. I of course let her know I'm sure her class mates were thrilled with this sensory discovery coming from her cutely cladded tush this evening, and she said..."It's not like they know who it's coming from mom! I'm not making any noise when it's happening!" I of course say "Well thank heavens for that!" Out of the mouth of babes.

I have heard people make that claim of never passing gas...I wonder if one can go through life w/o poofing? It seems as natural as eating.
