Anxiously Awaiting December Hours Thread! - WE'VE GOT HOURS!!!!

For anyone that missed my post on page 9, here is the link that has been used in past months to figure out park hours before they are posted on the official WDW website.

http://www.disneytravelagents.com/St...lendar_Dec.pdf

Hopefully only two more days until this is updated with 2009 hours! :santa:

Oh No!! The link would not open
But thank you for posting it & starting this thread ....I hope it is only 2 more days!!

We're in :cool1:

12/18 to 01/01 I'd love to make a bucketload of ADRs, but don't like to be that structured. We'll make one or two and wing it the rest of the time (I know, CS for two weeks :headache:).

Staying off-site with hire car, so I'm sure we won't starve. Really looking forward to coming again at Christmas and this will be our first time coming with friends.

Flamin' ticker's too slow.

I am anxiously waiting for December hours....in fact that is all that I have on my mind right now. We know where and when we want to eat, but don't know which days because of the park hours thing. I have 2 ADRs that I am very concerned about (CRT and Le Cellier), these are the two that we want to do really badly, and will have a very disappointed DH and 2 DDs if I cannot get those.

Same boat for us as far as CRT. What I did is I picked a day, where it doesn't really matter what the park hours are, (and we are not doing MVMCP that day), to do BBB followed by CRT. That's what we did last year, and it worked out well. We had an 8:15 BBB, and the park didn't open until 9. We were done by 8:45, and we were able to wander around the park, got some wonderful photos with a photopass photog who was standing right in front of the castle, did rope drop at Tomorrowland and were the first to ride Astro Orbiter, then got to walk into Ariel's Grotto, got photos, and talked with Ariel, no lines anywhere, then met the rest of the family for breakfast at CRT. It was WONDERFUL!!!! So we will do the same this year, and for that particular day, park hours don't matter to us. If you can pick one day for that, then you could at least make the adr for CRT, hopefully ensuring you would get at least that one! Hopefully that made sense......

That made perfect sense and I will be doing that too. Thanks for the insight. I usually wouldn't be so worried about CRT because we usually do the Princess breakfast in Norway and that is much easier to get, but for our upcoming trip, after my DDs learned that we are going, the first thing out of both of their mouths was "can we eat in Cinderella's castle this time?"....how can you say no to that?

i have our trip totally planned as in what parks we are going to and where we will be eating whilst there the only thing i need left to do is figure out the days and hours for December!!!!! :lmao: must have dec hours, must have dec hours! want emh too!! i plan too much is there a support group??? oh yeah, i'm on it!

You're right! You can't!! We have done the Princess breakfast in Norway, and to be honest, it does not compare to the one at the Castle (for more reasons than the obvious). It costs more, obviously, but you get to actually meet and spend time with Cinderella (which is HUGE for my dd6) and the photo package which is included in the price of the meal is really nice imo. We didn't really care for the food in Norway, and the service was HORRIBLE during our experience.

Which resort will be you at? We are at Poly - we also enjoy the princess dinner at 1900 Park Fare at GF. You see Cinderella, the Prince, Fairy Godmother, and the wicked stepsisters. It's only 1 TS, and it's a lot of fun. The stepsisters are hysterical!!

OMG I hope that link posted before about hours not being posted until September 14th is NOT true!! I don't have a lot of ADR's to make, just Chef Mickey's, Tusker House, and CP Package, but I'd still like to know what days to make everything.

Has anyone heard more about the CP Package being set menus? Has this been confirmed or shot down? That will make a big difference in what restaurant we choose.

i called disney on thursday and cm told me that december hours would not be posted for 3weeks so somewhere around the 14th of september. hopes this helps all of us that are waiting. Cm also told me that i could make adrs for the same restaurant each day of my stay.

That does not sound like you spoke with a CM who knew what they were talking about, no offense.

yet, I find it interesting that you have just joined and the ONLY two posts you have are the ones stating that the hours are going to be posted on the 14th. I'm thinkin' I smell a troll!

Sounds to me like you got a CM who is tired of getting calls about hours and just gave out a date to keep the calls away for a few weeks.

I may have to roll the dice. I've never had this problem before. When we went in 2006, I'm not sure if that was 180 days back then, but I don't remembering it being so hard. We'll be going 12/3-12/12 and we have a few different places we want to eat. What do you guys think? Should I roll the dice and call on 9/4 (our 90 mark) and make my ADR's how I have them now, which is based on last years hours, or should I wait till I have hours. I'm thinking just set them up and when the hours come out go from there. Here's a list of what DH and I will be doing:

California Grill (I know this is a hard one and we want to be there for the fireworks, it's our anniversary celebration dinner :lovestruc)
Chef Mickey's (we like to go early, first seating)
Le Cellier (CP Dinning Package)
Rose and Crown (late lunch, early dinner)
Maybe SciFi Dine In

Still waiting..... Come on, please, please post hours on Monday. We all have been good little boys and girls!

My question is.....what does anyone gain from joining us and then posting false info? What is the benefit from being "the troll"

I'm not saying anyone IS a troll but trolls post to get a reaction out of everyone else on a thread.

So, maybe this has already been hashed here but when did Nov, Oct, Sept hours get posted? Were they pretty much 90 days before the first day of the month? I'd say that's the best indicator of when Dec hours will post.

I do have to say I booked all my ADR's for my Sept trip after hours were posted and some things changed causing me a panic! So, the best you can do is the best you can do and try not to get too upset. Although going during Xmas week is probably going to be heavily reliant on park hours, EMHs, Fantasmics, etc. I've made my Dec itinerary based on last year's info but I'd be willing to bet that those ARE going to change!
