All they had at CSR were King Rooms but thankfully thats what we needed. Maybe thats your problem?

I asked her about kings and I got a very short response back about how the rooms are not available.

ok, i have been researching for a november 08 trip - kind of an extra trip as we were just there in may 08. But hubby is having a big birthday in november!

i called disney earlier today, and the gal said she used a code for value resort for $1189, 4 nights, park hopper...that didnt sound right (cheap enough!) to me...

after getting the latest break down of codes here on the dis board - i called, armed with more knowledge! i am so very pleased - i had the gal check 2 codes - DGL and DGP

DGL was cheaper by $100 dollars - i booked 4 nights at pop century wtih park hopper and dining plan for $771.

Just wanted to thank you guys so much!!

Don't give up. When I called when they opened this morning I was told NOTHING was available at any moderates. I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. So I decided to call back around 10AM and hope that maybe someone would have upgraded to a Deluxe and open some rooms up. Thankfully thats what happened. So keep trying.

Yes it was!! When I called earlier in the week to check for a code, I specifically asked the CM if calling the GG number was the way to go and he said yes, because using the regular number would require a transfer. I already posted this earlier, but after almost an hour, we tried the regular number on another phone just in case and got connected within minutes!!!!

By that time, POP wasn't available for our dates(10/18- 10/25), but we upgraded to CBR and still saved $100...can't complain about that!

If I was in your situation and you can't get a AAA agent to keep calling, I'd call Disney, make a new reservation using the code (if able), then cancel the AAA.

What dates did you book? They've been telling me all morning nothing was available at Pop at all for any dates for the entire month of December.

I was able to get the discount at Pop by booking online. I called CRO to see if I could get the same discount and nothing was available at Pop (gave her QXD which is on the wdw site). Allstar preferred was available, but no Pop for our dates.

Went ahead and booked online, called CRO back to cancel our original ressie (a bounceback from June which wasn't much of a savings) but he couldn't see today's ressie yet (said it can take between 5 minutes and 24 hrs ), so the CM said wait until tomorrow to call back and cancel, that it wasn't a problem to keep those two at the same time. I asked if he was sure and he said they would notice eventually but it was ok for a day. Only save about $130, but at least it's something!

I called disney and got a great CM who explained it all to me very well. A king isn't an option for us because we have two kids. I thought we could do that but he said only 2 are allowed in a king room? Anyway he said that I can book my own reservation anytime I want and just to keep calling back with codes to see if anything opens up. If I book my own reservation I can just cancel with my Travel agent if I get a better deal. I like the idea of having some power.

Is there anyone who can give me a good list of codes because he kept asking me for codes and I was frantically searching trying to find anything possible.

I tried 3 different codes for our stay at the Poly in October and had no luck.

ITA about blackout dates. My check in is 12/12, and and she was able to offer me GF, AK, or YC but not CR (booked solid). We did not make the change, but clearly that December week isn't fully blacked out.
