Just got back from another doctor's appointment. I am now drain free-the last one was removed today. I had my mom stop at the medical supply store and I got a decent binder that fits and doesn't itch me like crazy.

I was changing the binders and curiosity got the best of me. I looked in the mirror and wow!!! What a difference already!! The doctor said the swelling should go down over the next few months but I can tell clothes are going to fit me much better now!

Now I just can't lift for the next 5 weeks and have to be careful with bending and all that due to not having drains in anymore.

Life is looking better!!

Yay Linnie! Glad to hear everything is looking gud. And, now that the drain is out, can you shower? I'm sure Buzz and the kids will appreciate that!

By the way, I think you should milk the no lifting thing awhile longer than necessary. Make Buzz do some more work. He doesn't do enough for you!

I've decided not to have a pre-trip for October. However, I will post a few things here instead of having two threads.

Here is what I'm thinking for dinner ADR's while I'm down there. Many were chosen simply because we've never been there. I'll put an * next to those we've eaten at before.

Also, I'm glad to hear that Linnie is doing better. Not sure what the surgery was (nor that it's any of my business!) but it sounds like one of those nasty abdominal types. Those are the worst.

Great idea!! He needs to do more around the house. He's clueless as to how much I really do around here.

I can't shower until the hole where the drain was closes up. Gross huh?! Should be a few more days. P.U. until then. I've been washing in the sink, but it's not quite the same. I did manage to shave my armpits a few days ago, but the hair on my legs is nearly long enough to braid it!!

Yep-abdominal surgery. Not fun. I overheard a lady in the doctor's today asking about it. She's looking at the middle of June for her surgery. I'm so glad this one of mine is over with. Next one should be in December.

Are you doing Kona for dinner or breakfast? Eric & I had breakfast there on our last day in December and the Tonga Toast was awesome! DH had pineapple macadamia pancakes and they were good too!

You can always post your pre-trippie stuff on the Ip-Dip thread. That's what I've been doing....
