Live from WDW for 9 days, the Nicki and Todd dining review with a ton of PICS!!!!

:thumbsup2 LOVE this thread. We will be in Orlando soon!:cool1:

So great you managed to get into CG and I misread your post and thought you ate all those desserts :rotfl2:

Just wanted to say hi, I have been lurking since you started your report and I have looked forward to reading it every day! We are leaving for Disney tomorrow and I love reading about someone who is there right now! One question: How are the crowds, especially during the morning hours? Thanks for the pics, I am thinking about adding some more ADRs (if I can) thanks to your pictures!

The crowds are insane and the heat and rain are unseasonable...feels like July. The average wait at Epcot for the big rides are over an hour and we have seen Soarin at 2 hours. MGM was so packed that we turned around and walked out. MK has been manageable before 11 am, after that forget it, everything is an hour wait.

We have been going to MK and Epcot a lot and mostly hanging by the pool (which is where we are headed now). We are coming back alot over the summer for weekend trips and another 9 day trip in Oct. so whatever we miss now we will catch later.

We did the Epcot 7:45 Segway tour this morning and it was the most awesome experience ever...so worth it and we are going to do it again in Oct.

Breakfast after our Segway tour was a no brainer, Sunshine Seasons at the Land. It was 9:45 and it was busy but not crazy by any means. There are fresh fruits, cereals, a ton of pastries, hot oatmeal, bacon egg and cheese croissants, french toast and the adult breakfast platter available. We ordered a OJ, coffee (or whatever it is) a kids french toast platter that came with super greasy BLECH bacon, and overly powerful red pepper potatoes

WHAT THE HECK IS IT WITH WDW AND THEIR OBSESSION WITH RED PEPPERS! Gosh sometimes it is just nasty and this is one of those times (last night was the other).

The adult breakfast platter was so so, the horrible potatoes, the dry biscuit, the amazing creamy and melt in your mouth eggs and the best sausages. We also ordered a croissant to compensate for the biscuit, fresh fruit (never go a breakfast without it) and DH had to have a cinnamon bun which was so soft and ooey gooey and wonderful we wanted another although we were so full we could not have eaten it.

Nicki - Just wanted to thank you so much for taking the time to share all of your wonderful pics with us!!!!!!:goodvibes

Lunch was at the Tangierine Cafe again, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE that falafel wrap and DH is a huge fan of the meatballs and saffron rice. This place was super busy, I think it is the busiest of all the CS countries.

I had the falafel wrap with couscous and lentil salad. First time trying these 2 sides and they were awesome. The lentil salad was so crisp and fresh tasting with some type of herbs, fabulous. The couscous was TDF...TO DIE FOR :rotfl: A nice nutty and cinnamony flavor and very tender, even DH loved both of them. Also pictured is DH's side of marinated olives, he cannot NOT order them. :worship:

Here is DH's meatballs and saffron rice, the portion is huge, perfect for my guy. The meatballs are super tender and have a nice flavor, the rice is cooked perfectly and very tasty

My beloved is snoring away so no pool time but that is ok, the dark clouds are hovering and it is going to pour until midnight (so the weatherman says). I think I will go out to the balcony and relax....does room service deliver the BOOZE???

Tonight it is our final hurrah...at the request of DH it is dinner at the Yachtsman. We have not eaten there in 10 years so we are really looking forward to it. I am going to get my No Way Jose tonight, even if it kills me.

See ya later all!

Thanks so much for the reviews! You're great for doing this. One question about Tutto though. Everyone keeps saying something about it closing this fall...didn't it just open???

Hi, I am just LOVING this thread with the pics!! :thumbsup2 You have tempted me to change our Cape May Breakfast for Boma. You mentioned that Boma has made to order omlettes(a family FAVORITE!). Do you remember if they are "made to order" at Cape May also?? Thanks so much!! Joan

I dont think they do because the hostess and the server at Boma made it a point to say there is make your own omelets but at Cape May they did not say that.

And DH wants to say something, he would drop Cape May for Boma any day..nuf said.

Nicki - just got caught up on everything and I must say you've done a fabulous job with your reviews! And I'm so happy that afternoon tea ended up being such a good experience for you and your DH. :goodvibes
