I am not a big Baseball fan at all,but I think even casual fans will follow this WS closely.

The Dodgers-Yankees matchup is the 12th in World Series history, marking a renewal of the most frequent in the history of the Fall Classic and the first time since 1981. This is the first time since 1956 that the home run leaders of both Leagues will meet in the World Series, as Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani will do so for the first time since Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle and Duke Snider in a previous Yankees-Dodgers Fall Classic. It is also the first time in Major League history that two players with 50-homer seasons will play one another in the World Series.

My Phillies didn’t make it, and that was a disappointment. I will be watching it.

I won't be. Any sport where tickets start at almost $1,000 is too rich for my blood, even on TV.

I don't watch a lot of baseball. I was watching the game last night and when it went into the ninth tied, I decided to go to bed. I guess I should have stayed up....

Very likely this series has a stronger following internationally than it does in the US, especially where the Dodgers are so popular. Many fans of the other 28 teams are hoping they both lose!

I have to think the momentum will be enough for LA to win one of the games in NY. I don't really root for either team but was a fan of Tommy Lasorda and Mike Piazza (personal relationships).

Aaron Judge is 6 for 40 in the post-season.

Ouch.

His reputation is taking a monumental hit.

Maybe he will rebound strong in NYC.

Absoluting amazing game 5. If I'm a Yankee fa, I'm probably more P.O'd than sad. BUT in the end it was LA who did everything right!
I'm just happy I'm not missing game 7, because I'll be in the sky Sat evening heading to WDW!

The whole series was incredible. I was on vacation for Game 1 and 2, and ended up just watching the games in my hotel room instead of exploring the city I was in. No regrets.

Last night I followed it online (had to make up many many treat bags for DD’s class) and it was still exciting to watch the texts/tweets (whatever they’re now called).

But probably less fun for a Yankees fan. Or Cole.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a one inning collapse as crappy as the one the Yankees pooped out last night.

What Yankee fans fail to understand, is that when the Boston Red Sox "reversed the curse" ....they literally REVERSED the curse. The long-suffering Yankees now own it.....

The Yankees will never live down their pathetic defense last night.

They silver-plated Game 5 to the Dodgers.

The error by Aaron Judge has to be the worst in the history of the WS.
