Will I get double charged at Tolls with Sunpass and EzTag?

We bought a Sunpass during our road trip to Disney in 2021. We had an EZTag (Texas) but didn’t think that worked in Florida so I bought the Sunpass at the rest area and stuck it on my windshield next to my EZTag. After reading some of the threads, it looks like EZTag might work on the Florida toll roads. Will I be double charged this summer when I drive back to Orlando? Does the scanners in Florida know to use the Sunpass over other Tag systems?

The SunPass website says to have only one transponder in a car at a time. I'd call EZTag to see if it works in Florida.

Eztag is accepted on some toll roads in central Florida, you'll be double billed on these unless you take down one of the tags/transponders

Some places give you a small bag with the tag. Put the transponder in the bag and it won't be read.

I have tested this a few times with both a sunpass and ezpass transponder in the window and everytime so far sunpass pulled the toll and ezpass did not. I checked it through the sunpass toll app and ezpass toll app. but i did not continue checking If ezpass pulled it at a later time more than an hour of two after.. As with everything though YMMV

I don't know what the processing times are like with Florida tolls. When I was in NJ, tolls on the Turnpike, Parkway and (IIRC) Port Authority Bridges and Tunnels appeared on my NJ EZ-Pass account the same day I went though the barriers. Out-of-state tolls needed at least 1 additional day to appear on my account.
