Planning our first trip, to be at the beginning of November, to WDW. I have two girls, aged 6 and 4, and my wife of course, plus my in-laws, who are just aged :teeth: -- no, actually they are pushing 70.

We have three days. (New job, very little vacation time.) The plan is to do AK for one day and MK for two, but Mouse-N-Mini suggested a day at MGM might be more fun for the kids.

They really like animals, but they really like Minnie and Mickey and all the Disney classic movies too. The 4yo is very short for her age and won't meet the height minimum for the Mountains and such (and her Mom won't go on them anyway).

Any thoughts?

For the ages of your children, I think you have the right idea of AK for one day and MK for two. Especially if they like animals. They will love the safari ride! And The Festival of the Lion King is a great show! And if you have a park hopper pass you could do AK in the morning and early afternoon then hop over to MGM and take in Fantasmic after an afternoon break.

JMO :goodvibes Have a great time. :sunny:

I would rather do AK, Mk, and MGM rather than MK for two days esp since your youngest may not meet the height requirements. But we never go to MK two full days even when we stay the whole week so that is just my opinion.

I have DD4 AND DS2 and wouldn't miss MGM. We love Playhouse Disney, Little Mermaid...I love this park
