My niece wanted to know if there was any place that she could get the soft drink Beverly here in the states. Does anyone know where she can get it?
Thanks.

Ugh, that stuff was nasty! It reminded me of Moxie. The taste was very similar as both are quite bitter. Maybe she'd enjoy that then? My oldest daughter almost spit hers out when we went to Club Cool :lmao: It was hilarious! :goodvibes

My niece wants to find some so she can share it with her friends. We took her last Dec. and I told her that it was such a great drink that she had to try it. Of course she did not have th experience she was expecting and now she wants to share it with her friends. She had asked me if I knew where to get it. I did not but said I would ask.

When we were at Club Cool last year, I asked the CM's there about Beverly. After spending 2 weeks travelling all over Italy and never seeing it, I was curious. The CM told me that it wasn't really sold/distributed anywhere. I don't know if that was true or not, you never know how informed the CM's are.

I think there's a Beverly conspiracy, because I saw something on the Food Network showing the Beverly and it was a red color, but at Epcot's Club Cool Beverly is obviously a clear color.

I am so excited to surprise my never-tried-beverly roomate with it this june. I will be camera ready.

I don't know if Beverly is sold in the United States, but you could substitute a mixture of vinnagar and battery acid.

I found Beverly on the Coca Cola website, but I can't find any additional info about it. I remember that it says it's from Italy on the dispenser at Club Cool.
Here, take a look...

Also, here's an interesting thought about Beverly by Wikipedia...

:confused3 Sorry, I don't know why the Wikipedia link doesn't work, even after correcting it twice. Oh well, here's the info copied and pasted from Wikipedia.
Beverly (drink)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Beverly is a carbonated soft drink often consumed as a non-alcoholic apéritif made by the The Coca-Cola Company and sold in Italy.

The drink's distinctive bitter flavor (sometimes described as grapefruit-like) is due to quinine[1]. Quinine is also a key ingredient of tonic water, which is another soft drink noted for a bitter flavor. The bitter taste of Beverly has become familiar to many Americans after trying it at Coca-Cola tasting stations at the World of Coca-Cola museums in Atlanta, Georgia, and Las Vegas, Nevada and at Club Cool at Epcot in Orlando, Florida.

Beverly is unavailable for purchase on the internet and probably represents an elaborate hoax designed to “shake up” the experience at Coca-Cola tasting stations.

Clear? I thought I remembered Beverly to be brownish, sort of like watered down Coke. Am I nuts?

believe it or not dd LOVES Beverly!! She is convinced (and after reading the quinine ingredient, it makes sense!!) that it helped her the one year she was so sick with not being able to regulate her blood sugar levels (it takes awhile and even tho its registering normal, her tummy feels anything BUT normal)

We had to bring an empty water bottle and fill it with beverly - :rotfl2: Honestly she must be the only person that looks forward to drinking beverly!!

(I thought she was trying to punk us into retrying it - but no, she drank the stuff... often!)

There are... BETTER Beverlys to be found-

My DD5 loved it also! When we asked her if there were any rides she wanted to go on again before we left EPCOT, she asked if she could please have more of that "yummy drink".

ok guys heres a little soda lesson for ya...
lol

First off in atlanta you can get it at the world of Coke! BUT its bad too...

So whats makes it so bad? Well its simple. Beverly was not meant to be drunk that way and not out of a fountain! The syrup in Beverly is very heavy and you cant get it in the foutain. Thats what makes beverly taste good is the syrup. The syrup is simply not there so thats why it tastes bad.

The correct way to drink it is this

#1 out of the bottle, it the only way the syrup is in the drink. The syrup is heavy so it is sunk down in the bottom of the bottle.

#2 the tecnique. You have to drink it a certain way and this means with a straw. FIRST put the long straw in the bottom of the bottle to get some syrup into your mouth. SECONDLY raise the straw to get some carbonation into your mouth. THIRDLY relase the straw from your mouth and swish the syrup adn the carbonation together before you swallow. IT ACTUALLY TASTES GREAT!

#3 anyone that tells you that you cannot get it in the states are WRONG! its hard but its here. You can find it in europeon specialty food shops and such. The smaller the impoerted food shop teh more likely youll find it!!!

#4 IN OVERVIEW - we have learned the proper way to drink beverly and since you MUST have a bottle your not getting syrup at all int eh fountains and so its nothing more than carbonated water and some additives.

#5 If you dont drink beverly out of the bottle you NEVER tried it! Drinking beverly out of a fountain is like only eating the cheap 79 cent frozen pizza and saying pizza tastes like cardboard. lol
Hope this helps you guys.
