Where to eat on your one and only trip?

I am looking to book a 3 day park pass in Sept. This will most likely be out ONLY trip we ever go in our lives. I am not new to Disney as I used to be an AP holder at DW. So if you only had three days what would be the places to hit for food?

Blue Bayou

Churros! Every day and at different carts

At least go to the lounge at Carthay Circle - it's beautiful and the upstairs dining room is gorgeous

Drinks at Pym's Test Kitchen - fun to sit around there too

My daughter will tell you a Jak Jak cookie after riding the incredicoaster

I love Lamplight Lounge for brunch and the bar upstairs with the lobster nachos

If you have never been to Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney - go - it's awesome (we live near a few locations so go regularly at home)

World of Color Dessert Party - I love it

I am a big fan of the sourdhough bread at Aunt Cass Cafe - soups in a bread bowl are great! I also really like Award Wieners with their "Filmstrip Fries". There are some good bao buns at the Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland.

The Churros really are spectacular. If you don't mind over paying for a meal, Blue Bayou really has fantastic ambience. The food isn't bad, but there you are really paying for the experience of eating inside Pirates of the Caribbean and it is really neat. If you do go there, ask to sit by the water. If they say it's going to be a wait, then wait so try to not make your reservation too late. And have a great time on your trip.

My personal favorite sit downs: Carthay Circle (lounge and restaurant), Napa Rose, Trader Sam’s. Quick service: Flo’s, Bengal BBQ. Haven’t tried but on my short list: Hungry Bear BBQ Jamboree, Paseo/Centrico, Din Tai Fung.

If it gets too crowded for most of the quick service or sit down restaurants, I would at least try some of their snacks, including their Mickey premium ice cream sandwiches (this excludes the stuff you find in the grocery stores, only the Mickey ice cream in the parks is legit) and their big turkey legs. They will fill you up for basically half the day. You will not regret it.

Trader Sams was really good. We also enjoyed Lamplight Lounge, Bengal BBQ, and Pyms and Flos over in DCA.

what I never miss: Blue Bayou, Red Rose Tavern (for Mickey pancakes) and anything/everything at Jolly Holiday Bakery

what I missed last time but won't make that mistake again: Trader Sams (love the food and the ambiance is incredible) and Tropical Hideaway (not sure how I missed it w/ 3 day park hoppers but I did)

Dole Whip hands down
Our favorite is the Monte Cristo sandwich with Pomme Frites at Cafe' Orleans.
We also love the fried pickles and baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe'.

Similar to what others have said here....
- Corn dog cart
- Caramel Apples on main street
- I'm gonna give the Star Wars land a mention. I cound the food ther to be pretty good and very different from anywhere else in the park.

Minnie's Character Breakfast at Plaza Inn. We saw EIGHT different characters. By far the best value character meal at Disneyland.

Not one that I seem mentioned much, but we really enjoyed our meal at Wine Country Trattoria. The food was actually good. Not just good by theme park standards, but actually good.

DL doesn't really have must-do's like WDW does. But...If you're a Disney movie fan, you have to eat at Flo's V8 just because you get to eat at something from one of the Disney greats. You can sit outside and watch the cars go through ornament valley.
