What's All the Fuss About? (Fast Food Related)

Well, grilled was probably a mistake. It's the fried chicken with pickle that is the classic. Also, it's not really the BEST chicken sandwich, but it's the service that brings me there over other competitors.

I haven't been very often, so maybe that's part of it, but I've really enjoyed it when I've gone. My favorite order is a side salad with grilled nuggets and apple cider vinaigrette dressing. I also like their waffle fries with dipping sauce. Every time I've gone it's tasted really fresh, which is a welcome thing for the fast food we have close to the freeway on road trips I take frequently.

It’s their customer service. Polite employees, your order is correct, and if not promptly fixed, and stores clean. Here in Memphis that cannot be said about most other FF businesses.

It’s the product and product quality. For me it’s that their chicken is not all crunchy breading dripping in grease. The batter is lighter and leaves me feeling less sick. The breast is also usually generous in size. Their chicken nuggets are also real chicken not chicken puree poured into a mold like McD.

We eat lots of Chick Fil A. A new one opened really close to our house with a dedicated Mobile Order drive thru lane, so I go pick up food more often than I should probably admit. I alternate between the Cobb Salad, nuggets and the original sandwich. DH always gets sandwiches.

In fact, we will probably have CFA for dinner tonight.

Never tasted it but I’ve come to the conclusion that a lot of people don’t remember what fried chicken tastes like soooo they’ll take any substitute that will keep them from spending time in the kitchen.

They also don’t recall what a hamburger should taste like…..
