Trundle bed to bunk bed to an old hospital bed my Mom got from her sister. Loved that bed. :cloud9:

Twin to a full to a queen when I got married. My DS inherited my full mattress. We all got new ones 2 weeks ago and now my DH and I have a king bed!!

My sister and I shared a queen bed until I was 5 and she was 10. Then we each got our own twin. I had that until I moved out to join the Navy.

I had to share a double bed with my sister until I reached 7th grade. (6 kids, 4 bedroom house, lots of sharing). After several sisters went off to college, i got a room with a double bed to myself. In my first apartment I had a twin mattress on the floor, until someone donated an old queen bed set to me.

Oh my I thought I was the only one! :rotfl: I shared a twin bed with my sister until I was 11 and she was 18. I also came from a family of 6 kids, but we had 2 bedrooms, so you can imagine the sharing in that household!

When I was really young I shared a bedroom with my brother and we had twin bunk beds. We had the bunk beds for a long time until I feel off the top bunk and scraped up my face a little. The bunks were taken down and used as twin beds. I finally got my own room but had the twin for a few more years till I moved up to a full. Had the full all through school and when I went to college. About 2 years ago I finally got a queen. My dream is to have a Cal-King....but at 5'2", I just cant justify it.

Plain old twin bed till I was a teen, when I got a captains bed (one of those with the drawers underneath).

I had a regular twin bed, till I was about 15 then it was time for a new mattress and I got a "waterbed". It was still a twin, looked like a regular bed, but had tubes of water in it. Very cool! 15 years later and DD is sleeping on it. :thumbsup2

A double bed for a while, until my brother got married and then I got his "suite" of rooms upsatirs which had 2 twins.

I gave up bed size for room size, but it was OK. Plus, it was nice having twin beds for when friends slept over.

Bunk beds (top bunk) until my sister got married and moved out. Then I had a white canopy bed and the room to myself!

A full size bed. It was the most comfortable bed and when I moved out....it came with me. :cool1: It now occupies one of my guest bedrooms. :)

A double with my sister until my Grandmother died then a twin yea by myself.
My sister is terrible to sleep with takes all the covers and kicks no wonder she is divorced. I used to wrap up in one blanket and not move. when I got my own bed my mom used to laugh that i never had to make my bed cause you couldn't tell it was slept in I moved so little.

I'm the oldest of eight, 4 girls, 4 boys. I don't remember the early years. The only one I remember is a twin bed that I shared with my sister who was 3 years younger. I lived at home until I got married at 23 and was still sharing that bed with my sister.

I shared a double bed with my sister until she was in 7th and I was in 5th.
My 4 brothers had bunk beds in their room, all 4 together, we were in a 3 bedroom house.
Then we moved into a larger house and we got twin beds, the boys got two rooms to share.
My sister moved out and I got the room to myself finally when I was a sophmore in HS.
I had a queen bed when married, then a king with my SO. He moved out and now I have a King all to myself. Peggie

I had a twin bed most of the time. When I was about 14 I took it off the frame and put it on the floor. :hippie:

I had a twin bed till I got married. Now I have a queen but I would really love to have a king. :wave2:

Twin my entire childhood. In fact, a twin until my last year of law school. Then I went to a queen. Now, me and DH still have a queen, wish for a king.

Didn't they slide apart? :teeth:

I guess everything goes around, we did DD12's room a few months ago, and guess what--her bed is on the floor.
