What is your favorite resort bar?

I like 2 different types of Resort Bars, the ones that are open all afternoon and the ones that open at 3/4 or later.

We always do rope drop and are sometimes looking for a good bar at 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon.

For those, the good ones are Sanaa bar, Steakhouse 71, Geyser Point

The ones that open later, Victoria Falls, Enchanted Rose, Trader Sam's.

There's others, boy are there others.

I also love Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge, such a pretty spot to enjoy a drink!

Oh great to know about Sanaa! We are in Jambo but I was slightly disappointed to see Victoria Falls doesn't open until 4 or 5. Now I know we can go to Sanaa for an early afternoon glass of wine. :D

If you are a gin drinker, Barcelona Lounge at CSR can't be beat! Here's what DH and I had last January!
I echo Dahlia Lounge and Barcelona Lounge, both at CSR. Just gorgeous. Three Bridges at CSR is also excellent!

Yehaa Bob at Port Orleans Riverside is a ton of fun -- more of a free show than just a lounge experience.

And other than those, Enhcanted Rose (Grand Floridian) and Territory Lounge or Geyser Point (Wilderness Lodge) are both lovely, especially if you go late enough to catch the Electric Water Pageant. :)

Tambu is a great spot for a pineapple and the noodles arn't bad either. I also like Crockett's tavern at Ft Wilderness.

I love Tambu but if you’re not a fan of tiki drinks I’d avoid it tbh, the drink menu there is very tiki forward. Enchanted Rose over at the GF is a great spot with some interesting and unique selections.
We love the Enchanted Rose.

We love the Belle Vue Lounge at the Boardwalk Inn/Villas. Very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a drink after a long day in the parks. Try The Shadow...it's not on their drink list but used to be their signature drink. Most of the bartenders there remember it and if one doesn't they can look it up.

We loved Abracadabar at Boardwalk on our last trip. Stopped by twice because the Pepper’s Ghost was just THAT good! Fun atmosphere, too.

So, I have two favs at the monorail resorts. My top fav is the Enchanted Rose at the GF. DH and I have found the wait staff and bartenders to be extra nice and the French Martini is outstanding. However, the secret of this little tucked away place is out, and several times DH and I have encountered long lines to get in. When that happens, we head to Citricos, which is also at GF. The extra secret at Citricos is that they open at 5 pm, and if you get there a little before 5, you can be the first folks to belly up to the bar sans ADR. The bartenders there are also top notch, and they make the best Lemon Drop Martini anywhere on property, IMO.

Have a magical time!

Pepper's Ghost? How spicy was it?
It had a slight bit of heat on the back end, but the sweetness from the pineapple balanced it well. It was unique, and surprisingly refreshing. Already googled a dupe recipe so I can attempt it at home haha!

+1 here for the Outer Rim - fattest pour of Oban 14 I've ever gotten for 10 dollars. The bartenders are also fantastic at Tambu Lounge - especially on a slower weekday at the bar, if you tell them what you're in the mood for they will create anything you want.

And RIP Mizners. Sitting there, listening to the band... that was the best in the GF. The good news is (at least in late 2019, which I realize is so long ago now!) the bartenders at the new Enchanted Rose were the same ones from Mizners. Would explain why the drinks were still so top notch.

Basically any of the old school resort bars for a great experience, people watching, and a well made cocktail.

The Glurgling Suitcase at OKW makes some great drinks. It is very small though.
Close it down every night I stay on property. Going to be there in two weeks so one of the few barstools is already taken! Days at Hole in the Wall, nights at the Gurgling Suitcase= Heaven

My list

1. Gurgling Suitcase- just love the little ol place
2. Territorial Lounge- Best apps and a hidden gem
3. Crew's cup- Nicest seating.
4. Bar Riva- Indoor/Outdoor with air/heat

1. My favorite bar in WDW is all of them. From a little shack at a value resort pool bar to The Enchanted Rose. Slow down, relax and enjoy the moment.

2. Belle Vue Lounge at The Boardwalk. I am a huge fan of '40s music and that's all they play. Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman etc. as relaxing as it gets.

3. Any bar at CSR with Dahlia bar in GDT being the best. You cannot get a better view. Three Bridges is a close second though as their food is awesome. Even the bar at Cafe Rix is great if you're wanting to catch a game.

Drinking at WDW hits different. I do not drink and drive ever. So to be able to enjoy a couple drinks and jump on a bus, boat or monorail and let somebody else handle getting me there is a perfect vacation.

Gurgling Suitcase for us. I think there are/were 4 bar chairs and 2 seated chairs inside (although there are picnic style benches on the boardwalk in front). We enjoy reading the various license plates.

We are staying at CSR for the first time this November and I can’t wait to try the different bars there. It is really nice to be able to try different cocktails without having to worry about driving anywhere
