My chick and I have a couple of crocs and its pbbly about time to wash those bad boys. Is there a certain way to clean them?

Thanks!

I always washed mine in the washing machine with a load of towels and never had a problem.

I don't know a certain way to clean them but I use alchohol to clean mine :) I was worried it might dry them out but it hasn't so far.

We put ours in the top rack of the dishwasher. Works like a charm!

:thumbsup2

1 part bleach to 10 parts water in bucket. Soak for 10 minutes and run under water to rinse. Cleans and sanitizes. If there is mud caked on, carefully brush it off with a scrub brush before soaking any little bits left should soak off--be careful since the bleach will harm clothing if it splashes on them.

From the Crocs website-

Question: How do I care for my crocs shoes?

Fit: to adjust your crocs, grasp the heel strap with both hands on either side of the “crocs” wording and gently stretch outwards from the middle until it retains the desired fit. For a customized fit that can be adjusted for any activity, use the crocs turbo strap.

Clean: keep your crocs clean by rinsing them with cold water and soap, or to bring them back to their original luster, try crocsbutter.

Heat: do not expose your crocs to extreme heat or intense sunlight for an extended period of time. Due to the unique nature of the croslite material, high temperatures can cause them to warp.

Grip: crocs are known for their great grip but like any performance tire, when the tread becomes worn, their grip becomes compromised. That's when you know it's time to treat yourself to a new pair.

so bleach would be okay? i have white crocs and thought maybe i should do that but didnt want to risk it before knowing..

Well, bleaching sounds good. I just hope the color doesnt bleed.

Something I read on here before:

Instead of the $$ Crocs "Butter," use Armor All to return the shine to Crocs after washing. We use the Armor All wipes and they look very good after a quick wipe!

The material does not bleed, I have Navy, Brown, Black and Orange and have had no problems.

maybe non chlorine bleach because it doesn't cause that yellow-y thing that can happen with regular bleach, but it works great for restoring the whiteness to fabrics and even sneakers

I tried using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on mine, but the crocs ate the eraser. The eraser became crumby as I was scrubbing the crocs.

I used magic eraser on mine. Just on black scuffs though and very gently. My magic eraser crumble when I use them on anything so I guess I didn't know they didn't. :) I keep meaning to use some armor all wipes on them but I haven't yet. I also have put them in the washer. The colors will not bleed because it is in the material not just dyed on it.

I did this and shrunk them at least a full size. If you are going to do this don't use the drying cycle.

Sure wish I had know this, could have saved me the trouble of returning two pairs for smaller sizes and waiting on my credit card refund.:lmao:
