What’s for Dinner Tonight?

I am making beef stew. I have made it before, as it was in my recipe binder, but I don't remember if it was amazing or just okay. I will report back if it's worth sharing. :goodvibes

dip into the stash of salmon croquettes I made and froze in last weekend's batch cooking extravaganza. They are supposed to be for rushed nights or emergencies, but I think I may be engineering the need out of sheer laziness because I know I can.
Yes! It's the same with me and batch cooking :rolleyes1

Is that a dish you make or a variety of orange?
It is a dish I make. I supreme oranges. Then make a simple syrup, scrape 2 vanilla beans. Mix the caviar with the cooled simple syrup. Put the oranges in a container with the 2 beans and pour the simple syrup over. Let it sit overnight in the fridge. It’s like a fresh creamsicle.

TOnight I made leek/potato soup with mushrooms and a bit of bacon. Leftover roast chicken on the side for anyone who wanted to add it to the soup. I also rolled some cheddar cheese into the Pillsbury crescent rolls, for something different. I'd never made potato leek soup before, and it came out pretty good!
I made potato leek soup tonight and added ham. We had crusty bread with it. Quick and easy!

Roasted Brussel sprouts and tofu with spicy lime dressing

That sounds heavenly - I googled and it looks like a NYT article and it won't show me the recipe since I not subscribe. Any chance you would share?

Last night I made unstuffed cabbage hotdish. I just threw it all in the crockpot, made the rice on the side. And honey/parsley carrots along side it. Twas fantastic.

Tonight is Mustgo night - everything in the fridge must go. So, leftover pasta bake, leftover cabbage stuff, a ton of rice, veggies and dip, some hardboiled eggs, etc.

Has anyone tried Ina Garten East parm risotto or this cooking method? I love risotto but rarely make it because I’m lazy. 😂

Edit: That should be easy not east
I haven't ever done risotto that way, but the recipe sure does look easy. I actually copied it into my Google drive and might try it out sometime.

Tonight I'm deciding if I'm going to go with chili mac that I bought ingredients for this week or if I will try to eke out a Spanish style rice with shrimp someone on the thread inspired me with the other day.

The Beef Stew from last night was extra tasty and earned it's spot in my binder. Adding the balsamic with the onions and garlic was a nice way to deglaze the pan and add flavor. There are leftovers, so that's what's for dinner tonight! ;)

Note: Her Potatoes Au Gratin recipe is a keeper. So simple yet out of this world!
Thanks for the recipe. I’m going to try the au gratin potatoes!
