Well.. Didn't you just put a thorn in my side... I honestly don't know. NORMAL people put their luggage away when there isn't a vaca right? Even since the kids bought their luggage (a couple months ago?) it's been either IN their room and they have been playing with them.. OR right outside their room... humm... OH! I know!!! the party is SATURDAY! I can put them all in my room!!!! this way i can pack them starting Monday!!!!

And it's quite alright to be talking to yourself. Our trip is not a surprise in any way and I still find myself talking through the packing/trip planning process!

We've done two of the MNSSHP's. We have gone to see the 7 Dwarfs both times because this party and the Christmas party are the only times you will see them all together.

I got some packing done. I will need to go to the bank today to get quarters and pennies (we did the whole washing them and making them shiny thing last year, for them to turn back to their old nasty selves and now they are harder to clean because they are less sturdy). I also need lots of $5s and $1s for tips.

Then I need to do my nails and dye my hair and go over my list one last time. Cannot believe it is tomorrow! See you soon.

Good Morning!

I have lots to tell you! Yesterday i had every intention to finally go shopping for this Birthday Party tomorrow with about 50 people. yes i have that many coming. This is normal for us. just family and close friends.. Irish remember???

Tom called and said he was stuck at one of his accounts and couldn't get free. Which meant i had to take the kids to football and cheerleading.
Matt really wanted me to go and watch him as he is becoming quite the linebacker. My little Monster of the Midway!!! How can i say no? needless to say it was kinda nice to just sit relax and watch them beat the living hell out of one another. ahhhh relaxing.. what was bittersweet is the kids school varsity team (raiders) was scrimmaging the bulldogs. this is huge rivalry between the two. as kids start with the bulldogs about 5 years old then, once in the 4th grade usually leave the bulldogs to play for the Raiders...
I had to text my BIL (head coach of Raiders) - "totally stalking you right now" watching him look around was fun. Mr. Marine turned tack team cop can't find me.

then a friend called. She will be my dog/house sitter and very Disney obsessed, She is also helping with the reveal! we were talking about how we are going to get the box there. How we are going to make it sound like Tinker bell just dropped off a present.. When i get a call from my sister. saying "you look lonely" Now i can't find her! classic case me stalking BIL while sister is stalking me. Benny Hill has NOTHING on my family.
Finally found her about 60 yards away. crazy family i made her look at Zack, She works for a orthopedic surgeon. She knows stuff.

Zack on Wednesday was tackled- apparently the largest child fell on Zack's foot, it's been bothering him. We didn't know if it was the ankle. the top of the foot or whatever. he couldn't pin point it. (yes i am thinking how am i going to get him around Disney) When he got home from school he was telling me how much it has been bothering him, finally he told me it was the top of the foot. Then i notice how when he isn't thinking about it he walks fine. Once you mention practice. he limps. i really don't know if he is trying to get out of practice OR it really hurts. I cannot read this kid. Finally I tell him you are going to practice you need to learn the plays. he starts telling me how bad it hurts and how he cannot run. Zack your walking fine you don't have to run at practice just watch whats going on. we are now arguing... being frustrated i say:
ya know that surprise i have for your birthday? You need to be able to walk. Matt's eyes got HUGE looks at Meg. i just realized my mistake. my very large enormous mistake. elephant in the room mistake. Look at Matt and say what are you thinking?? HE says.. Disney. that's your surprise. You walk a lot in Disney...

HOLY MOTHER OF ALL. What did i just do.

BACKPEDAL backpedal NOW. BEEEEEEEE DO BEEEEEE DO ----EMERGENCY --- red lights flags and every other notification siren is going off in my head.

Calmly---- No, that isn't the only place.. we walk at the zoo, Great America -Jacks wearhouse and i start naming ALL these really fun places where i could take them too. yet watch myself so not to allow them to think- yeah we are going to Wisconsin Dells!

I think it works.. i am NOT 100% sure. he did kinda like the great america idea.. i might be in the clear.

I bring back the conversation to their birthday party.. Safe ground. Well Zack if your foot hurts that bad your going to have to have to sit your party out.. your going to be stuck on the couch all day No jump house No swimming no running around. hurriedly go upstairs DEEP BREATHS.. clear the mind.. as i am changing Matt comes upstairs for whatever reason and we are talking about football when the phone rings. It's Tom. Matt goes to the phone to answer it and i hear the ruffle of bags... ya know like bags that would have special objects in them to be placed in a special box which are placed next to our bed and by Tom's small dresser table holding the phone...

When i finished the bags i placed them there and threw sweatshirts on top to hide them until Tom got home to move them to the basement when the kids got home... apparently he never got around to moving them to the basement and there they sat. RED shiny bags with their Happy birthday ears from 2010 sitting proudly on top.

i'm sunk.

I don't know IF he actually saw anything. i am hoping of all hopes he didn't. But at this point i just don't know. It's damage control time. with the excitement of their birthday party coming up tomorrow i PRAY he forgets about whatever they saw. I need to start thinking of what i am going to sway their minds to something else.... I need a distraction for next week....

practice went fine Zack's foot is miraculously healed I think Matt talked him out of the pain he didn't want his brother to miss out on all the fun. I have good kids.. At this moment i am not so happy..

Zack's foot doesn't have any swelling, no bruising, nothing. we are keeping an eye on it icing it every chance we can keeping it levitated. hope for the best at this point. do NOT want him on crutches in Disney!!!!

After practice I had to go to a sports meeting (for the kids school) then home food bed.

This morning:
alarm goes off i give it the evil eye. but i see a reflection on the wall. In my slumbering head, i think...
what is oogie boogie doing in my room? Hit snooze.
alarm again.
Oggie boogie is still there. i'm one eyeing it.. it's starting to register..
OK SERIOUSLY WHAT THE H... is oogie boogie doing on my wall?!?! I look over to the window. The blinds above the air conditioner are positioned perfectly to make a oogie boogie ON MY WALL! i will take a picture so you all don't think i have seriously lost it for good.. Im up go through my normal morning routine leave house.
driving there is something crossing the street i think cat.

it's not running out of the way and have to hit brakes. I look more closely It's a yorkie! OH NO! roll the window down hey doggie! Nope keeps on moving and so do i.
after two more blocks i think YOU MORON why didn't you stop and get that dog! that is someone's pet! what if that was your dog! now i feel like absolute poop. Like that was my one chance to help something and now i blew it... Karma... I pray this isn't something coming around to bite me in the .. I should have stopped and helped the poor thing out. I hope it's around when i get out of here or someone does better then i do and saves the poor little thing!

I leave today half day to finally get some stuff done for this very large party going on at my house.
I need to:
shop
clean
stuff bags
all of it by 3pm tomorrow...

I may lose it.
